Rupert's Adventures - Escape Ecru Room Walkthrough - There are 4 rooms: --------------------------------- Dining Room (DR) (Starting Screen) Go left: Prep Area (PA) Go left: Kitchen (K) Go left: Entrance (E) - When you hit start, youll be in the DR. Go LEFT once to PA - TOUCH top of CART to pull it out (middle of the screen with the peppers on top) - TOUCH to the FLOOR just to the LEFT OF THE CABINET with the cheese on top MINI-GAME: ---------- There are 9 notches on the floor next to the cabinet. The key to the game is to get all 9 pegs in the DOWN position. Before you touch anything, note the position of all of the pegs in the UP position. Click each of these positions ONCE regardless whether the peg is currently UP or DOWN at the time. After you have clicked each one, start again, noting which pegs are in the UP position NOW. Click each of your new positions ONCE regardless whether the peg is currently UP or DOWN. Repeat this several times until all of the pegs are in the DOWN position. - After completing the mini-game, TOUCH the FLOOR to go back to PA. - TAKE blue COOKBOOK at the top of the cabinet. - RIGHT once to DR - On RIGHT TABLE, TAKE, PEPPER, SALT, NAPKIN, TABLE CLOTH, TABLE. - CLICK MIDDLE POT. *QUICKLY CLICK* on KNIFE under pot to take it. (Repeat as necessary until you get the knife) - DOUBLE-CLICK on TABLE in inventory to view it. CLICK BOTTOM of each of the FRONT THREE TABLE LEGS until one separates from the table to reveal a KEY. Do NOT take key at this time, just make note of its location. (If you do not see a key, it will be in one of the other two tables, but you can look for it later when you need it) - Put back TABLE, TABLE CLOTH, NAPKIN, PEPPER, SALT - LEFT once to PA - OPEN THIRD CABINET on UPPER RIGHT WALL - SHORT CUT-SCENE of bottle breaking. - TAKE POT on bottom shelf - PRESS RED BUTTON next to where pot was sitting - BOTTOM CABINET will move to wall - TAKE BOTTLE in shelf above there - OPEN ALL REMAINING CABINETS (You will be unable to open the second cabinet where the cookbook once was) - TAKE COFFEE MUG on MIDDLE SHELF of UPPER LEFT CABINET - TAKE PINT GLASS on UPPER SHELF just above that - RIGHT once to DR - If key was in one of the legs on the right table, TAKE SALT from there. If not, TAKE SALT from one of the other two tables - RIGHT once to E - USE KNIFE on STRING ABOVE COME AGAIN SIGN - TAKE SIGN from the FLOOR - OPEN FLAP in the MIDDLE OF THE DOOR (This will allow you to see the customers later) - RIGHT once to K - OPEN RIGHT CABINET under sink - TAKE SCRUB BRUSH (You will barely see the RED BRUSH BEHIND the BUCKET - You may have to click several times to get it) - DOUBLE-CLICK on COME AGAIN SIGN in inventory - USE SCRUB BRUSH on SIGN - This will turn SIGN into COOKIE SHEET - OPEN OVEN DOOR and PUT COOKIE SHEET in OVEN - PUT SCRUB BRUSH back where it came from - OPEN LEFT CABINET under sink - TAKE LIST OF VIPS - Its to the TOP RIGHT of PAPER TOWEL ROLLS - CLICK FLOOR just to the LEFT OF OVEN - TAKE MALLET - CLICK FLOOR to go back to K room view - TOUCH TOP OF WATER TAP to TURN ON WATER - QUICKLY get BOTTLE from inventory and HOLD UNDER TAP to FILL BOTTLE WITH WATER - RIGHT TO PA - USE KNIFE on ROPE on the FLOUR SACK on the LEFT SIDE of the LOWER RIGHT CABINET - CLICK FLOUR SACK where you cut it. USE COFFEE MUG in the MIDDLE of the WHITE AREA to COLLECT FLOUR IN MUG - CLICK BOTTOM of WHITE AREA to go back to room view of PA - CLICK BLUE BOWL on TOP SHELF of the RIGHT SIDE of the BOTTOM RIGHT CABINET - USE PINT GLASS in the MIDDLE of the BROWN AREA to COLLECT YEAST IN PINT GLASS - CLICK BOTTOM of BROWN AREA to go back to room view of PA - TAKE EGG from BOTTOM SHELF of the RIGHT SIDE of the BOTTOM RIGHT CABINET - TAKE LARGE TABLE SPOON from the LEFT CABINET DOOR from the LEFT OF THE UPPER RIGHT CABINETS (Its the longest spoon to the far left) - You now have all of the ingredients to start making your dough. You may do the following steps each time youre prepping a pizza, even before you know which kind to make, as each pizza has the same base. (You may also cook this before OR after you put the ingredients on top) - Several of these steps are used to save time for later cooking. If you are on your last pizza to cook, you do not need to refill your flour, yeast, or water. - DOUBLE-CLICK POT - USE ON POT the following (in order): WATER, FLOUR, YEAST, SALT, EGG - If EGG does not combine with the mixture, PUT EGG back and TAKE another EGG and repeat until you get one that does (may take several tries) - USE TABLE SPOON on POT to STIR MIXTURE - PUT TABLE SPOON BACK where you got it from - TAKE ROLLING PIN from SECOND TO BOTTOM SHELF on the LEFT SIDE of the LEFT CABINET - USE KNIFE on CHEESE on the TOP of the BOTTOM RIGHT CABINET - TAKE PIECE OF CHEESE that you cut - DOUBLE CLICK on CHEESE in inventory - USE KNIFE ON CHEESE to cut it into smaller slices - REFILL FLOUR and YEAST containers - DOUBLE-CLICK on POT - (With all of those actions performed between stirring, that should have given enough time for the dough to rise. If not, you may click to different rooms several times until it does) - TAKE DOUGH by CLICKING on the TOP of the POT - DOUBLE-CLICK on DOUGH - CLICK ONCE on ROLLING PIN and then on HAND (LEFT side of INVENTORY) - CLICK MIDDLE OF DOUGH several times to KNEED DOUGH (Click until it stops moving up and down when you click on it) - CLICK ONCE on ROLLING PIN TO USE it on DOUGH it will ROLL the DOUGH ONCE - USE ROLLING PIN on DOUGH to ROLL it a SECOND TIME (It will go in the opposite direction of the first pass) - PUT ROLLING PIN BACK where you got it from - TAKE KETCHUP from BOTTOM SHELF of the UPPER RIGHT CABINET - DOUBLE-CLICK on DOUGH - USE KETCHUP on DOUGH - USE CHEESE SLICES on DOUGH - PUT KETCHUP BACK where you got it from - LEFT once to K - REFILL WATER BOTTLE - PUT PIZZA in OVEN - CLOSE OVEN DOOR - USE MALLET on CENTER of the RIGHT SIDE of OVEN - TAKE TWO OVEN MITTS which are on the WALL ABOVE LEFT of OVEN - Be patient while your pizza cooks - it usually takes up to 30 seconds. - When OVEN LIGHT starts FLASHING and BEEPING, OPEN OVEN DOOR and TAKE PIZZA - PUT TWO OVEN MITTS BACK when you got them from - You have now made your pizza base. From here on, this will be referred to as MAKE PIZZA BASE. You can add toppings to this pizza base without recooking the pizza and give them to your VIPs. - LEFT once to E - If there is no customer waiting at the door close the flap on the door and go from room-to-room and back again until one shows up - Here, you only want to serve the VIPs, if you serve anyone else, they will steal your hard work and youll have to go back and make another one. All VIPs will have THREE DIFFERENT COLORED items of CLOTHING. A non-VIP will have at least TWO of the SAME COLORED items of CLOTHING. If you encounter a non-VIP, chase him away by USING your KNIFE on the OPENING in the DOOR. He will get in his car and speed off. If you try to use the knife on a VIP, nothing will happen. - Once you have determined that you have a VIP at the door, DOUBLE-CLICK on your LIST OF VIPS in your inventory - MATCH the COLORS of HAT, SUIT, BOOTS, and CAR - Each time you play, the names and colors will change. The order of the 5 pizzas and ingredients will not. When you TAKE one, youll need to DOUBLE-CLICK on it in your inventory and USE the KNIFE on it to CUT it into SMALLER SLICES to PUT it on your PIZZA BASE. - RED CHILI PEPPERS are on the TOP SHELF on the RIGHT SIDE of the LOWER RIGHT CABINET in the BACK of the BASKET. You can PUT these directly on the PIZZA BASE without cutting. -The following are SHRIMP which are all in the LEFT CABINET and can be PUT directly on the PIZZA BASE without cutting: -LEFT SIDE TOP - BLUE/WHITE: GUATAMALA (#1) -LEFT SIDE MIDDLE - RED/WHITE: INDONESIA (#2) -LEFT SIDE BOTTOM - GREEN/RED: BANGLADESH (#3) -RIGHT SIDE TOP - GREEN/WHITE: NIGERIA (#4) -RIGHT SIDE BOTTOM - RED/BLUE: NORWAY (#5) - The following the LIST OF RECIPES for each of the VIPS: VIP #1: SHRIMP #5/CELERY/GREEN BELL PEPPER/TOMATO VIP #2: SHRIMP #1/SHRIMP #2/RED CHILI PEPPERS/CELERY VIP #3: SHRIMP #3/RED CHILI PEPPERS/CELERY VIP #4: SHRIMP #2/SHRIMP #3/SHRIMP #4/TOMATO/CELERY VIP #5: SHRIMP #1/SHRIMP #5/TOMATO/GREEN BELL PEPPER - If you make the pizza INCORRECTLY, the VIP will say a stern "NO!"
