Some large (for example, multi-tile) objects may not visually appear correct at 45 degree angles. This should not be used on windows or doors, as they will already snap to diagonal walls. There is no guarantee that Sims can interact with all objects that are at this orientation, but most should work. Use this with the boolProp snapObjectsToGrid code. Debug mode: ----------- When in the "Create A Family" screen create an adult female, and for her name type Enter Fitrs N. A popup will appear on the top right stating "Create-a-sim is now in Debugging Mode". Enter it without assigning your Sim a last name. This gives you new clothing options, you can have your sims body be invisible, assign Fig Leaf Clothing, and use many other hidden secrets. Better business: ---------------- To get a bit of an edge over your competition, make sure to impress the Reporters whenever they come around to your shop. If you manage to raise their customer loyalty enough, they will write you a good review in the local papers. This boosts customer inflow and willingness to buy. Just watch for visitors taking copious notes. Saving leftovers: ----------------- To keep leftovers from spoiling, buy a food display case. When your Sim is finished eating his food, and there is still food remaining on the plate, go into buy mode. Pick up the plate and put it in the display case. The food will never go bad and you can pick it up in buy mode and put it on a counter, table, etc. for your Sim to eat more of it. Twins: ------ To add some twins to your family, the medical powers of Cheesecake might be for you. Have a slice before you "Try For Baby" and you may be surprised with the results. Sim lives forever: ------------------ Build a servo after getting the Gold Badge in Robots. Then, kill the Sims you started with. The only person remaining will be the robot, and you can do everything that you could do with a Sim normally, even buying businesses and operating them. Reset Sim or object: -------------------- If your Sim or object is not working with anything, try doing this. It will reset what they are doing with no harm done. First, enable the boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true code Shift click on the Sim or object that is not working. Keep selecting the "More..." option until you find the "Force Error" selection. A box will appear. Select"Reset". This will cancel anything they are doing, no matter what. 50,000 simoleons: ----------------- Press [ctrl]+[alt]+[delete] then type in motherlode and your sim will now have 50,000 more simoleons. Money Sent: ----------- Press [ctrl]+[alt]+[c] Then type in motherlode and !tada! the cheat has worked and your sims now have 50,000 simoleons more! Isn't that great? Talents Sent: ------------- While in live mode press ctrl+shift+c then type in Talents it should give you all talents. Torture Room: ------------- Ok to make yourself a torture room make a family and move them into a city with lots of people in the town. Turn on the move all objects cheat (by pressing holding Ctrl, Shift, C and typing moveobjects_on) then make a second floor to your house without stairs or an elevator leading up to it. Then when neighbors come to visit you pick them up and put them in your torture room and don't put anything in there like a bed or toilet. It is hilarious watching all of the people interact. Also order groceries or a pizza or call the cops or firemen etc. to get more people in there. Career Rewards: --------------- To easily get all of the in-game career rewards, all you have to do is the following. Open the cheat box and insert (case-sensitive): unlock CareerRewards and then close the box. You will then get rewards for the career you have, and can use the password over and over again to stock up on your jobs given rewards! More than 8 people in a household: ---------------------------------- First, make a family of eight. Then lets say you want 24 people. Make two more families. Then you have a total of 24. Move one of the families in. then enter the cheatbox and type "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" After that, Hold shift and click the mailbox. Then click Neighborhood and then make me know everyone. After that. Move the other two families in seperate lots and give each family a phone. Then go back to the family w/ the mailbox thingy. Take their phone and call them over. When they all get to your house. Hold shift and click on everyone (not at the same time) Then click make selectable. Then You have a happy yet big household. Money and Help: --------------- Well you have to be in a family of this to work so you click 'ctrl, shift,c' all at the same time and a box will appear at the top of the scren and then you type in 'motherlode' (not the little marks) for lots of money and for help you type in 'help' (not the marks) for lots of other cheats and thats how you do it. LockAspiration [on/off]: ------------------------ When turned on the aspiration level of the seclected sim will be lock during his staying on the lot, when he goes anywhere else it will be turned of. Open a Pet Shop: ---------------- If you have a pet shop in the neighborhood, you can go buy one; this is how you'll probably get most of your pets. * Now, unlike the Sims 1: Unleashed expansion, there is no place that just magically pops up where you can buy pets. However, a couple of pre-built pet shops reside in your lot bin. On the neighborhood screen, click the second major button on the Universal Control Panel (it's called "Lots and Houses" and has a symbol of a house and an underline on it), then click the first major category ("Lots & Houses Bin," the one with the house). Click the infinity symbol to bring up all lots and houses in the bin, then scroll through the list until you find the ones called "Planetary Pet Shop" or "Pepe's Pets." Click it, then place it anywhere in your neighborhood. * Now, whether you've got Open for Business or not, you can make your own pet shop. If you want to go that route, we suggest going into either pre-built pet shop first to see what you need. We won't go over how to build a pet shop in this guide, as you'll be able to gather the methods just by studying the pre-built pet shops for a little while. * Once you have a pet shop in the neighborhood, you can head there like you can any community lot. Take a Sim, call a taxi (or drive yourself), and head to the shop to buy one. You'll have to drop a few hundred this way, though, so make sure you can afford it first. * Buying a pet at a pet shop still gives you tons of freedom. Yet again, you can design your pet from the ground up, including gender, looks, and personality. Check out the Design a Pet section for details on that.
