Test Drive - Unlimited Manana Island: -------------- Locate hitchhiker Mario and GPS mark his position at the lower right corner of the island. Below that area is "The Saleen Classic" time race. Look directly to the top left of the stopwatch icon to find the blue motorway. Warp to the small clearing of trees near it and drive straight up the grass. Drive along the cliff edge for approximately 0.7 miles until you are positioned almost directly above the GPS mark. Eventually you will see a the blue "E" logo for Eden Games. Drive into the logo at 40 mph (64 kph) and press [Enter] to warp to Manana Island. You can bookmark this location to easily get back to it again. Easy money: ----------- Submitted by: conner54 Go into your Achievements screen and check what you need. Try purchasing cars such as three Fords, three Aston-Martins, etc. You will know what cars you need by looking in the purchases area of your achievements. To gain enough money to buy the cars, keep repeating the 170 mph race. Once you have completed enough achievements to become a champion, repeat the Alfa Challenge in the Competezione car that should cost you nothing. You will receive $75,000 for each win. Go to the bottom of the map by the crater. There is a speed challenge there that awards $40,000. A C-Class car is required (TVR Sagaris recommended). You can do it in about 1:30 to 2 minutes and get $40,000, which results in about $1,200,000 after one hour. Once you get to "Champion" rank, complete the Tour Of The Island race if you have not already done so. After completing the Tour Of The Island race, you will get the Alfa Romeo 8c Competizione. There is a race on the main highway called "Alfa Romeo Day". Every car in this race will be an F class Alfa Romeo while you will have the C class Alfa Romeo. The race is about 2.8 miles long on a near straight-a-way. You will earn $75,000 for the race. Once you are at "Champion" rank, do the "Alfa Romeo Day" race. Use the Alfa Romeo 8c Competizione. Everyone else will have different slower cars. The race is on the highway with no cars and is only 2.8 miles long. It is worth $75,000. Keep repeating this for easy money. Find the highway and go to a spot near but not too close to an intersection. Find a racer and get them to have a Instant Challenge with you. Set the finish line just behind the start line on the opposite side of the highway. Once the race starts immediately turn over the center of the highway and drive past the finish line. Do this five or ten times then do a race that is worth about $20,000. You will get a lot of money for the win. Note: This does not always work. Once you reach the Expert level, there is an easy race called "Lucky Day". It only lasts about two minutes and results in $40,000 every time. Try using the Kawasaki Ninja ($14,000) with the stage 3 tuning package ($25,000). C/D class Saleens: ------------------ If you have not bought a Ford Mustang GT Coupe and a Ford Mustang GT Convertible, do so. Take them to the U.S. Muscle Car Tuner shop. When you get there they will ask whether you want them tuned as a Ford or a Saleen. Press [Down] and select "Saleen". The new car(s) will have a very visible sign that says "Saleen" at the top of the windshield. They will also be upgraded to C/D class cars. View credits: ------------- Press M to display the map. Zoom out to see all islands then zoom back again. You will now see the Earth and the credits. Easy money: ----------- Unlock the Lamborghini Miura and find the G-class sprint-race called "130 mph On A Winding Route". Instead of going straight forward in the race as instructed, make a 180 degree turn and take the first right. You will now have the first straight on which you can drive up to 130 mph (202 km/h) and make $50,000 within 30 seconds. If you cannot get to the correct speed on the first straight, drive on with the right and left turn in the road and take a hard left or right then get to the required speed within a minute. You have a total of 3 minutes to reach the required speed limit. Quick Money Tip: ---------------- In the downtown area, located in the island's southern region, you can find a challenge titled '180 MPH Downtown.' You can only attempt this Group B-level challenge once you have reached the Champion level. When you start the race, quickly cross the starting line and make a U-turn. You should see a straight section of road where you can easily reach the target of 180MPH within the allotted 30 seconds, provided you are using the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Coupe. Every time you win in this manner, you earn a $75,000 prize. Then you can try the race again. In this manner, you can earn around $5.4 million over the course of an hour or so, a substantial reward for your time.
