After you get all shards and open all cages, kill at least one animal. Before you kill all seven of them, quit the game while at the cages map. Note: You can use the menu to quit in the Macintosh version, however you must force quit the game on Windows and Linux by pressing [Alt] + [F4] or its equivalent.
