Build low-level expansions first: --------------------------------- Build at least one low-level expansion in every category in demand before you build higher-level expansions. Have enough maintenance bays: ----------------------------- you need one for for all the station expansions. As you build more expansions, build more and better maintenance bays to keep everything in good working order. (full version) Adjust expansions: ------------------ Adjust the appeal of an expansion by double-clicking on the expansion and changing its settings. Reach deep into the technology tree: ------------------------------------ focus on science a bit more than the other categories as science expansions are often prerequisites for other expansions. Keep in mind, however, that Social expansions also need to be built up for various other expansions to come available, so some people recommend focusing on Science and Social together. (full version) Maintain appeal levels around 80%: ---------------------------------- this is enough to keep visitors coming and spending time at an expansion, but not so much that you're wasting money overpleasing visitors. Sell things off at last moment: ------------------------------- where earning a bunch of money is important, try selling everything off at the last moment to reach your cash goal.
