When they are put to death, press autocalc battle. The castle is yours. 400 farmers, 400 knights, 200 maceman ------------------------------------- First, let the farmers slam shut the canal. Destroy the bridge. Destroy all cans with a knight, and defeat the other soldiers with your knights. Destroy the middle gate with your maceman, defeat the rest and take the flag. To defend a castle ------------------ Put as many archers and crossbow-men into battle as you can and let the computer decide. If you don't have these men, then defend with knights and pike-men. HexCheat -------- Load the savegame into the hexeditor and change the offsets 87.990, 87.991 and 87.992 to FF. Now you should have enough money. Turn 1 into 65473: ------------------ First obtain 1 wood and 1 stone. The fastest way is to purchase them from a merchant for about 300 crowns. Next, use the design a castle option choosing a single tower and place a flag on the tower. If chosen correctly it will show 1 wood and 1 stone to build. Choose build this castle and make sure you have builders assigned on the Labor screen (40 or so should complete this in one turn). Once the "castle" is built, choose the option to look at the castle. On the new screen choose the "Extend this Castle" option. Begin extending the castle (single tower) by adding new towers, walls, and halls until it shows 100 wood and 100 stone needed and choose build this castle. Don't use any water because that doesn't help add to the wood or stone needs. Go back into the "Look at the castle" option and choose "Demolish this castle" (under the castle name and image). Check the merchant screen and you should have over 65000 of both items (wood and stone). CAUTION: Make sure to keep your crowns (money) at around 30,000 or below to avoid a glitch that will require a restart.
