* To complete requirements that involve getting a specific number of people to
inhabiting your lands easier, shape the land to create as many locations
available for building shelter as possible. Plan and build them as compact as
possible to get the maximum use from the land.
* When starting, place huts next to the areas that the workers need to access.
Only the closest, connected people will work on new tasks. You will eventually
unlock a way to directly control the Followers, but until then, it will be
easier to keep things in proximity.

The biggest goal is to expand your population, because more Followers give you
more options. Always have your builders working on shelter, the more advanced,
the better in order to benefit more people.

Belief:
-------
* Belief is what the more advanced huts produce, and it the in-game currency that
allows you to change the land as desired. Only sculpt land that you will
immediately use. You will eventually have to start working on higher ground,
and this requires a lot of forethought. Log in as often as possible to collect
the available Belief and make room for more to accumulate.
The starting houses cannot hold too much of it.
* You can earn some extra Belief by removing rocks and trees. You can also spend
Gems to speed things up and get a boost in your Belief production.

Leashing:
---------
You will eventually get the ability to Leash your Followers and have them work
wherever needed. Because this costs Belief, use this technique to progress faster
only it really needed. Otherwise, simply expand to get people close enough to
where you want them to work.

Treasure:
---------
When flying smiley faces appear, they indicate treasure chests which contain
special items that will allow you to unlock new cards. Sculpt the land to get
access to hidden chests.

Diamonds:
---------
Completely destroy the Astari. Do this by expanding your population until you
unlock the Swamp card in your God Powers. Purchase it for 4,000 Belief and place
Swamps on the Astari settlement to wipe them out. Also look at which paths they
use the most during their festivals and place Swamps there. After the Astari are
gone, send as many Followers as possible into the Temple of Doom (also known as
Pit of Doom in the PC version) to produce Diamonds without the risk of losing
people. Send your people from the smaller huts into the Temple of Doom to allow
them the least amount of time to repopulate.

Happiness:
----------
If your people are less happier than the Astari during a festival, you will lose
some Followers to them (usually from the same settlement). To keep your citizens
happy, use God Powers. Use the God Seed to plant trees just before an Astari
festival is about to start, and just enough for your Followers to be above the
Astari. Do not plant too much, as each seed costs progressively more. Use the
Rain of Purity and Beautify similarly when they become available. You can also
decrease Astari happiness, by using Meteor Showers, Swamps, and Fingers of God.
You can also destroy them by removing layers from below them until they fall
and drown in the water.

Crops:
------
Use Rain Of Purity on Crop Fields to have wheat to grow faster. Do this to feed
starving followers when times are difficult and you cannot wait for the next
batch to be harvest naturally.

Stickers:
---------
Stickers can be obtained from chests. Drag a sticker onto the Abode card to
activate it. The color of the tabs must match the card. Not all cards need to
be activated with stickers.

Sailing mini games:
-------------------
Never send more Followers than you need to save, because if you lose, you will
lose all of them. Plan all your moves ahead by looking at the island to learn
what you have to do, and where obstacles are located. Block paths to stop your
Followers from moving in a dangerous direction while quickly creating a safer
route. Do not spend gems on speeding up your reinforcements.
