Far Cry 4

Far Cry 4

Cheat Codes:
------------
Submitted by: David K.

Easy XP and money:
------------------
Enter the "Shanath Training Ground" outpost from the east. Immediately when you enter the outpost,
you will see a heavy armored enemy patrolling the bridge. Kill the heavy armord enemy with C-4 to
get 240 XP. Then, kill the two tigers below, and skin them as quickly as possible (the tiger skins
can be sold for 7,000 each). Once you are finished skinning the tigers, pause the game and save,
then intentionally die. You will spawn around 320m away from the outpost with the XP you got from
the enemies and the skins you got from the tigers. Run back to the outpost, and repeat the process.
When you die again, you will respawn next to the outpost. Repeat this process until you can obtain
the "Heavy Takedown" skill. Then, instead of killing the heavy armored enemy with C-4, sneak up on
him, and kill him with the "Heavy Takedown" skill to get 400 XP per kill. Repeat this process as
many times as desired. Note: You do not have to worry about getting more C-4, as you will get an
extra C-4 after each death.

Godmode and Unlimited Ammo in Far Cry 4:
----------------------------------------
Acutally it is a cheat that was used in Far Cry 3 and here it is.
Go to your Far Cry 4 profil folder locatet at:
C:UsersUSERNAMEDocumentsMy GamesFar Cry 4

Open the file "GamerProfile.xml" with notepad.
In this file search for "< GameProfile />"

Edit that line to:
< GameProfile
  GodMode = "1"
  UnlimitedAmmo = "1" />

Save it and have fun. Unlimited Ammo works also for Grandes and other throwables.

Alternate Ending:
-----------------
At the very beginning of the game, there is a cutscene on a bus. After that cutscene ends, you will
be at a table with Pagan Min. When Pagan Min gets up and leaves the table, simply wait idle at the
table for 13 minutes, and Pagan Min will return. Once he returns, Pagan Min will escort Ghale to a
place where he can leave the ashes of his mother. Ghale can enter the tomb, place the urn of ashes,
and leave with Pagan Min in his helicopter. The credits will then begin rolling.

During the final mission, before entering the palace to confront Pagan Min, equip the rocket launcher.
You can find multiple rocket launchers during the final battle in the fortress. When Ajay Ghale points
his pistol at Pagan Min's head, do not shoot. You will then fly in a helicopter to a burial site with
Pagan Min, and Ajay will lay the ashes of his mother. After exiting the tomb, Pagan Min will escape
in his helicopter while taunting Ajay. Once you are back in control, quickly shoot down the helicopter
with the rocket launcher. It will crash into the ground below and show the ending card. Travel down
the mountain, and destroy the wooden doors with an explosive. You will find the crash site up the path,
and Pagan Min's body nearby. Loot his body to get Pagan Min's Golden Pen (worth 300,000 rupees), Lapel
Pin #2 (worth 350,000 rupees), and 250,000 rupees. Completing the game this way will also allow you
to stay in Kyrat to complete any unfinished activities and count as killing Pagan Min.

Easy "Custom-Fitted" achievement:
---------------------------------
To get the "Custom-Fitted" achievement, you will need 200,000 Kyrat Dollars. Money is very easy to
obtain in the game. Simply loot some corpses or open loot chests to get enough money within a few
minutes. Then, go to a weapon locker or merchant, and select a weapon that does not have any
attachments (for example, AK-47). You will only need to buy the six paint schemes. The weapons that
do not have any attachments are the cheapest option.

Easy "From A Distance" achievement:
-----------------------------------
First, buy the Recurve Bow from a weapon locker. Also, buy and equip the Marksman Sight, as it is
a very useful attachment for long range shots. Then, search for some enemies, and put a marker on
their location on the world map. Walk away until the marker shows a distance of 60+ meters, and take
the shot while the enemy is standing still. The Rochan Brick Co. Shipping Outpost (coordinates X:
393.6, Y: 503.6) is one of the best locations to do this early in the game, as it is near the starting
area of the game. There are two enemies out in the open, standing completely still.
Note: If you have already liberated this Outpost, you can replay it any time from the "Outpost Master"
icon on your world map.

Easy "Quad Kill" achievement:
-----------------------------
To kill four enemies simultaneously with a single explosion, you will need to buy an explosive weapon.
The RPG-7 works best (costs 160,000 Kyrad Dollars). Then, go to the Rochan Brick Co. Storage Outpost
(coordinates X: 440.4, Y: 543.0), and set off the alarm. Wait for the reinforcement vehicles to arrive.
Shoot your rocket launcher at the vehicle with four soldiers and no turret before the soldiers get out.
Alternatively, you can plant some C4, get a group of enemies around it, and then blow it up. If this
does not work the first time, simply get yourself killed to respawn somewhere near the Outpost, and
try again. Note: If you have already liberated this Outpost, you can replay it any time from the
"Outpost Master" icon on your world map.

Easy "Tread Lightly" achievement:
---------------------------------
There are a total of 24 Outposts. You can liberate any of them without triggering an alarm. Search for
the alarm switch in an Outpost, and disable it. Then, kill the remaining enemies. It does not matter if
the enemies see you or not once the alarm is disabled. They are just not allowed to ring the alarm. If
you hear the alarm, kill yourself to respawn somewhere near the Outpost, and try again. An easy easy
Outpost is Kyra Tea Weigh Station at coordinates X: 344.5, Y: 379.0. This Outpost is near the beginning
of the game, and only has one alarm switch. Note: If you have already liberated this Outpost, you can
replay it any time from the "Outpost Master" icon on your world map.

Easy "Two Birds" achievement:
-----------------------------
This can easily be done at the Rochan Brick Co. Shipping Outpost (coordinates X: 393.7, Y: 503.5),
near the starting area of the game. There are two enemies standing right next to each other. They are
standing completely still and are easy targets. Buy a sniper rifle, and get close to them, but avoid
being detected. When they are perfectly lined up, shoot them both in the head. Most enemies in the
game have body armor, and shots to the torso will not kill them -- so make sure to get a headshot.
If you miss your shot or only kill one enemy, then get yourself killed to respawn somewhere near
the Outpost, and try again. Note: If you have already liberated this Outpost, you can replay it
any time from the "Outpost Master" icon on your world map.

Easy "Changing Lanes" achievement:
----------------------------------
First, buy the "Vehicle Takedown" skill. Play with another person in Campaign Co-op mode. Equip
the "Vehicle Takedown" skill, and make sure you are in the passenger seat of the vehicle while the
other player is driving it. Have the other player pull up next to an enemy vehicle, then perform
the takedown. It is slightly random where enemy vehicles spawn. They spawn most frequently around
enemy fortresses and outposts, but there are a lot of random convoys as well. Alternatively, you
can do it in the reinforcement wave of an outpost. Let the guards activate the alarm to get some
reinforcement vehicles to appear.

bridge which you can kill using the C-4 for 240 XP. Kill the two tigers below and skin them
for their hides which you can sell later for a 7,000 profit each. Save your game, then purposely
kill yourself. You'll respawn outside of the outpost, as will the enemies you just killed.

Simply repeat this process to farm XP. You will keep the tiger pelts and your C-4 will restock
each you die, so feel free to continue using the explosives until you unlock the Heavy Takedown

him with a Heavy Takedown rewards you with 400 XP instead!

Fortress locations:
-------------------
There are four fortresses that can be found. They are stronger and feature more defenses than
outposts. However a fortress will become weaker when its ruler is killed or after you have
taken down its alarms.

Baghadur : X:196, Y:600. Ruled by Noore Najjar.
Rajgad Gulag : X:811, Y:795. Ruled by Pagan Min.
Ratu Gadhi : X:562, Y:604. Ruled by Yuma Lau.
Varshakot : X:511, Y:430. Ruled by Paul Harmon (De Pleur).

2nd Secret Alternate Ending:
----------------------------
1.During the final mission, Ajay Ghale will drive up to Pagan Min’s Royal Palace and confront him
in a dining room. Before entering the palace, equip yourself with a Rocket Launcher. There are
plenty to pick-up during the final battle in the fortress.
2.Ajay Ghale points his pistol at Pagan Min’s head. Don’t fire — let him live. The two will fly
a chopper to a burial site and Ajay Ghale will lay the ashes of his mother.
3.Exiting the tomb, Pagan Min will escape on his helicopter while taunting Ghale. Be prepared,
soon you’ll be back in control and watching the chopper fly off.
4.Quickly switch to the Rocket Launcher and shoot down Min’s helicopter! It crashes into the
ground below and shows the ending card.
5.Travel down the mountain and blow open the wooden doors with an explosive. Up the path, you’ll
find the crash site with Pagan Min’s body nearby. Loot the body to find Pagan Min’s Golden Pen
(worth 300,000), Lapel Pin #2 (worth 350,000) and 250,000 in cash.
No escape for Pagan Min this time. Completing the game this way also allows Ajay Ghale to stay
in Kyrat to complete any unfinished activities and counts as killing Pagan Min.

Special cutscenes:

Golden Path by destroying Jalendu Temple. The Golden Path soldiers will be rounding up children for
slave labor in Amita's opium farms.

by not destroying the Jalendu Temple. There will be a cutscene showing Sabal putting subjects to
death for turning against Kyrat's national religion.

General Tips:
-------------
* Just like Far Cry 3, one of the best activities in Far Cry 4 is capturing outposts.
If you're trying to do so stealthily, don't worry if you fail. You can repeat any
outpost mission in the relevant camp.
* When approaching outposts, release animals in the area if you can and let them do
the work before you pick off the rest of the enemies.
* If you want to get around Kryat quickly, using Microlight Choppers is your best bet.
They provide direct transport from one area to a next, which is especially useful
  for outposts.
* Tag enemies with your camera before you take on large groups.
* Bows are a great way to take out enemies stealthily.
* Upgrade your health to make life easier. Yes, you have syringes, but increased max
health proves more useful than constant healing.
* Lots of games include hunting, but Far Cry 4 is one of the few in that emphasizes
its importance. You need animals skins to craft new items, so be sure to hunt some
animals on your way through Kryat.
* If you played Far Cry 3 or any recent Ubisoft game, you know you want to uncover
the map as fast as possible. In Far Cry 4, this requires climbing radio towers to
unlock new icons on the map. Make that a key priority when you first begin the game.
* Don't kill elephants. Instead, ride them when you complete the requisite quest to
unlock that skill. Even though they're slowing than vehicles, they're a lot of fun
  to ride.

Infinite Karma and money:
-------------------------
Travel to the Clouded Leopard marker on your map that is southwest from the Kyra Tea
Factory location, and just across the river. This area can be accessed at the start of
the game. It is recommended to use the Recurve Bow, but you can use any bow or weapon.
However, you are rewarded with double skins for each kill when using a bow. Use this
method to quickly earn enough money to upgrade to the Recurve Bow if you do not already
have it. Throw bait down from the hill, then shoot the Clouded Leopard in the head.
Repeat this process until you are out of bait. Then, go down to skin the animals to
refill your bait. Repeat this process as many times as desired. Clouded Leopard skins
sell for 16,000 rupees each. It is recommended to upgrade the bait bag first to make
the process quicker. You can easily earn 500,000 rupees approximately every ten minutes.
You can also use this same method at any predator location (bears, bengal tigers, etc.)
to quickly increase your Karma meter.

Infinite XP and money:
----------------------
Enter the "Shanath Training Ground" outpost from the east. Immediately when you enter
the outpost, you will see a heavy armored enemy patrolling the bridge. Kill the heavy
armord enemy with C4 to get 240 XP. Then, kill the two tigers below, and skin them as
quickly as possible (the tiger skins can be sold for 7,000 rupees each). Once you are
finished skinning the tigers, pause the game and save, then intentionally die. You
will spawn around 320m away from the outpost with the XP you got from the enemies and
the skins you got from the tigers. Run back to the outpost, and repeat the process.
When you die again, you will respawn next to the outpost. Repeat this process until
you can obtain the "Heavy Takedown" skill. Then, instead of killing the heavy armored
enemy with C4, sneak up on him, and kill him with the "Heavy Takedown" skill to get
400 XP per kill. Repeat this process as many times as desired. Note: You do not have
to worry about getting more C4, as you will get an extra C4 after each death.

Infinite XP:
------------
First, successfully complete the game, and unlock the "Death From Above" and "Heavy
Takedown" skills in the Tiger path, to easily earn an infinite amount of XP in Pagan
Min's fortress located in northern Kyrat. Once the fortress is weakened, sneak through
the front doors by using the steps to the left of the main gate and taking down the
heavy soldier. Cross the wooden bridge, kill the rooftop soldier, and use the Death
From Above takedown on the remaining heavy soldier. Once they have all been defeated,
pause the game, and select the "Save" option. Then, allow the remaining snipers and
soldiers to kill you. Throw C4, grenades, or fire rockets at your feet to speed up
the process. You will respawn right outside the fortress' front doors. Repeat this
process as many times as desired to earn an unlimited amount of XP to unlock the
remaining skills.

Infinite money:
---------------
After completing the first quest in the Ghale Homestead and unlocking it, you can
purchase a farm upgrade for a large amount of rupees. Buy it, then unlock the first
level perk on the Elephant path to get double ingredients every time you harvest a
plant. Once the garden appears, pick all the plants, then fast travel to an outpost
to sell the plants. Fast travel back to the homestead, and the garden will be fully
restocked with valuable plants. Repeat this process as many times as desired. During
the final mission, before entering the palace to confront Pagan Min, equip the rocket
launcher. You can find multiple rocket launchers during the final battle in the fortress.
When Ajay Ghale points his pistol at Pagan Min's head, do not shoot. You will then fly
in a helicopter to a burial site with Pagan Min, and Ajay will lay the ashes of his
mother. After exiting the tomb, Pagan Min will escape in his helicopter. Once you are
back in control, quickly shoot down the helicopter with the rocket launcher. It will
crash into the ground below. Travel down the mountain, and destroy the wooden doors
with an explosive. You will find the crash site up the path, and Pagan Min's body
nearby. Loot his body to get Pagan Min's Golden Pen (worth 300,000 rupees), Lapel Pin
#2 (worth 350,000 rupees), and 250,000 rupees. Then, fast travel to anywhere nearby,
and return to his body to be able to loot him again. All items respawn after each
fast travel. Repeat this process as many times as desired.
You can easily get 1,800,000 rupees approximately every ten minutes.
Note: This glitch was performed on an unpatched version of the game.

Armed Escort mission locations:
-------------------------------
Armed Escort missions involve driving a supply truck through multiple enemy waves.
They can be found at the indicated coordinates.

#1: X:337, Y:585
#2: X:353, Y:660
#3: X:452, Y:773
#4: X:460, Y:491

#8: X:782, Y:691

Propaganda Center mission locations:
------------------------------------
There are four Propaganda Centers in and around the Abandoned Jheel at the indicated
coordinates. To complete the missions, eliminate the enemies then destroy all the
propaganda equipment at that location. Buildings with propaganda equipment are marked
as yellow on the map.

#1: X:477, Y:322
#2: X:359, Y:577
#3: X:571, Y:778
#4: X:710, Y:709

Undamaged Hides:
----------------
The weapon that you use to inflict initial damage on an animal you are hunting will
determine what sort of reward you receive upon killing it. Therefore, it's a good idea
to start with a standard shot if you want a nice skin, even if you finish off the
critter using a grenade.

Different Ending:
-----------------
Start a new game. After the first cutscene, when you are instructed to explore the
mansion, remain where you are for approximately 10 minutes. An alternate ending should
then play out for you.

Undamaged animal hides:
-----------------------
Use a weak weapon to inflict the first hit on an animal, then finish it off using more
powerful methods to get an undamaged hide.

Post-Ending Cutscenes:
----------------------
After completing the game you will be allowed to explore Kyrat once more to complete
the remainder of the content, this will also unlock an optional scene that varies according
to who you sided with near the game's ending. If you were loyal to Amita, you can enter
Tithra for a scene. If you sided with Sabal, return to the Temple for a scene.

Easy advanced start:
--------------------
At the very start of the game, once you can free roam, first unlock all the radio towers
and do not use any vehicles. Doing this will naturally get you everything you need to
upgrade your items, earn more money, and obtain free weapons. Make sure to loot everyone
you kill and sell their items. Additionally, do side missions before doing the primary
missions (for example, armed escorts, fashion week, etc.). The better head start you can
get on your character before doing the primary missions, the easier and more fun the game
will be.

Getting hides:
--------------
When you have to get hides to upgrade your inventory, do not use any explosives. Doing that
will damage the hide and will not count towards what you are wanting to get. It will result
in just meat that you can sell.

Easy head start:
----------------
At the very start of the game, when you have free access to roam around, unlock all the
radio towers first and do not use any vehicles. Doing this will naturally get you everything
you need to upgrade your items, earn more money, and obtain free weapons. Also, loot everyone
you kill and sell their items.

Side missions:
--------------
Do side missions first, before doing the primary missions; for example, armed escorts,
fashion week, etc. The bigger the head start you can get on your character before doing
the primary missions, the more fun the game will be.

Plants:
-------
Green plants (for health regeneration) are rarer in this game than its predecessors. Never
miss an opportunity to overstock them. You will need them with the fortresses and other
difficult missions and objectives.

Mission 12:
-----------
Save the game after mission 11. Then search for *.SAV files in the "binProfile" directory
and copy them elsewhere. At this point, your campaign has been laid out for you. You can
begin making choices that will affect your next missions which will in turn provide you
with a different ending. Saving the game files will allow you to begin from where you left
off after mission 11 if you want to view a different route with your choices.
