The game has a folder of data and inside it there's data in xml files
to everyday work which provides details about everything including what
you need to buy to get the perfect combination to get better tips.
You can also change the values of the data to make the game more
challenging or easier. For example, changing the value of starting
happiness to 4 will result in customers coming in with full hearts.
And changing the patience level to large will result in customers
waiting much much longer.
Tips and Tricks:

Pick the perfect combination of upgrades for each restaurant and your
tips will soar! In the Park, choose the Popcorn Stall, Grass Lawn, Counter
and Ice Cream Van. The rest of the upgrades will not help your score so
save your money! You can bring it with you to the next restaurant!
To earn more money so you can get expert mode easier, buy ALL of the
available items for sale in decorations. Note: A few of the early rounds
don't require all items, but I suggest you at least buy the most expensive
item for start :)
There are bunches of things to upgrade and buy during the course of the
game, most of which seem to only make your restaurant area prettier.
HOWEVER, IF you buy the *CORRECT* 4 things in each restaurant (indicated by
a STAR next to the object AFTER you buy it), you will get a TIP BONUS in that
restaurant...that's right, you will earn extra money when you have these objects
purchased!
