Risen is an RPG by the same people who bought us the Gothic games. For those familiar with the Gothic series the way Risen works is pretty similar. The player, you, has the opportunity to build up their skills in the way they wish. The game is split into 4 chapters but this guide will list all the quests you can do as well as various other bits of useful information. I cannot guarantee that I have found all the possible quests, items, potions etc. However, there is enough detail to help you complete the game. Besides you wouldn't want to know everything would you. I've played it through as a mage and as a bandit so all quests for both are listed. I killing every monster on the island as well as completing all the quests I found so don't reckon you can get past level 30. The experience required goes up by 500 more than the last level jump so I included the expected experience all the way to level 50 (even though I don't believe you can obtain these levels). ================================================================================ { } { 03 - Monsters } { } ================================================================================ You will need some training in Gut Animals to get the trophies from the various creatures around the island. In addition to this training you need tools to extract the trophies which can be obtained from various NPC's. Some creatures, such as gnomes, won't yield any trophies as such, they may just have loot. Generally speaking the higher the amount of experience received the harder the monster is to kill. An ashbeast is a lot harder to kill than a wolf for example. ================================================================================ { } { 04 - Maps } { } ================================================================================ The player will receive new maps from different people and find them on their travels. Technically this doesn't show you anything but is still a map. ================================================================================ { } { 05 - Treasure Chests } { } ================================================================================ There are hidden treasure chests around the island, I have listed the ones I have found below. To find one look for light brown earth on the ground and this will indicate the presence of buried treasure. You also need a shovel to dig it up. 1) At Bannon's dig site in the swamp 2) At Enrico's dig site in the swamp 3) Go to the walled structure where Commandant Carlos is in Harbour town. Follow the wall to the left of the entrance in where the guard is and there is a little alcove with a skeleton in. You'll find it there. 4) Behind barn, western side, Tilda's farm (the one with Severin) 5) Corner of the cemetery in monastery. 6) In the eastern temple behind blue barrier. Go along tunnel, into main room then right along the tunnel. Use lever to open gate and drop through the floor. The chest is in the alcove where the lizard warrior is standing. There are several other buried chests that form part of a quest for Steelbeards treasure. ================================================================================ { } { 07 - NPCS } { } ================================================================================ You will meet many different non player characters (NPCs) on your adventures. The manual lists three factions Some of these NPC's may belong to one of the three factions: * The Inquisition * The Bandits * the Mages Of Volcano Keep Technically speaking the Inquisition and the Mages are aligned together. Others have no direct affiliation with any of these groups. Generally speaking the three groups are directly opposed to each other. Whilst you are not aligned with any of these groups their members will be neutral to you, assuming you don't attack or provoke them. The inquisition will attack and capture you on sight outside of Harbour Town unless you have joined their group or have joined the Don. Once you become affiliated with one of the groups the members of the other group will attack you on sight and will always be hostile to you. Below are all the NPC's found and their locations. Its worth noting that some NPCs will appear on the world map but I have included them in the region they reside. For example, Leto is found in the world map but I've included him in the Harbour Town list because it makes sense. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 07.01 - World -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The main world area is quite big and there are no obvious markers on your map to say where the smaller places are. You will find a mix of the 3 different factions and some people who have no faction connection No Affiliation -------------- Sara - Washed up on the beech with you at the start of the game. Henrik - Fareast of island by the rope bridge. Hes near a camp fire Jasmin - North of Henrik in house Rufo - Jasmin's, wolf Drok - Ogre in Lizardman Prison. When released he'll sit by the waterfall outside. Eldric - Druid in hut north of Saras hut. Bandits ------- Jan - At abandoned house west of the farm and east of the bandit camp. These will allow you to use better weapons and do more damage. The combat skills are also useful to give access to better attacks or quicker reloading for crossbows and bows. Crafting skills --------------- Of these alchemey is the most useful because you can use it to produce potions that can permanently boost your stats in strength and dexterity. You'll need to find the right ingredients to make these but they can save you learning points that you may spend on strength or dexterity. The increase to health potion is the only way to increase your health permanently. The smithing and prospecting skills go hand in hand. You can use the prospecting skill to gain more iron and obsiden ore as well as gold. It will also unearth the occassional prescious stone which can be used to make amulets and rings. Gut animals is useful if you intend on creating spell scrolls. You can also use them in trading to save yourself a bit of cash. Remember you can't directly sell anything only trade it. Theiving -------- Open locks is the most useful because you can open all chests in the game and pick up lots of goodies. I think you can only learn level 3 by following the Don though.You need this skill to complete 2 side quests for reforging swords. The sneak and acrobatics skills are not worth wasting the points on. You can get rings early on that will do both. When robbing places you put the sneak ring on and take it off when done. Pickpocketing is not all that useful. You can take upto one item off most NPC's once. I would probably save your gold. ================================================================================ { } { 15 - Spells } { } ================================================================================ Below is a list of all the spells you can learn to make in the game: - Ashbeast Transformation - Berserker - Conjure Skelton - Create Illusion - Destroy Magical Barrier - Inferno - Joke Jest - Levitation - Magic Protection - Medium Magic Healing - Nautilus Transformation - Open Locks - Small Magic Healing - Speed - Strong Magic Heal - Telekinesis You can only make scrolls if you are a mage and only then with the create scroll skill. Each spell requires a rune and you to have level 1-4 seal skill in order to create it. You also need the ingredients listed on the rune. Once you have obtained a rune you can use it as many times as you like providing you have the materials to create that scroll. Any character can use scrolls and will need to in order to complete the game. If you are an order warrior or a bandit then you will have to find or buy your scrolls. ================================================================================ { } { 16 - Quests } { } ================================================================================ The quests can be done in any order but form part of chapters. This section will list the quests you can complete and their rewards. At the start of the game you can do the first 36 quests for the bandits and remain neutral. At this point you can also do a couple of quests for Bryn outside the monastery. You should probably head to Harbour Town next. When in Harbour town you can choose your path by doing quests for each faction. You have to do 4 quests for a faction to get accepted so decide who you want to align yourself with. Technically you can explore the other parts of the island to do a couple of quests but you'll probably get killed because there are many difficult monsters to kill and you'll probably not have enough skills and weapons to get there. Once you enter Harbour Town you technically can't leave, unless you jump over the wall near the fence but then you have to pay another 100 gold to get back in. Harbour Town is where you can choose to back the Don or Order. If you do all the quests for order then you can become a mage or a warrior. If you do all the quests for the bandits then you can align with the bandits. You can also become a order warrior by being captured by order outside town or by simply heading to the monastery before joining either faction. Which faction is the best? Well I think the mage faction is best for several reasons: - You can complete almost all the bandit missions then the missions in the monastery. If you just join the Don you will loose out on lots of experience. - Only mages can train with magic, other than using scrolls (*) The quests have been broken down into the area where they are given in the quest tab. (*) You can use magic as a bandit or order warrior. If you train in smithing you can manufacture an amulet that allows you to use level 2 in each type. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 16.1 - World -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1) Find Survivors Of The Shipwreck Reward: 25 Experience This is the first mission in the game. Basically search the beech for bodies, you'll only find Sara left alive. Note: Find a branch on the beach and Speak to Sara again for 25 experience. 2) Take Sara To Safety Reward: 50 Experience Your second mission in the game is to guide Sara to the abandoned house to the north of the beech. Head through the brush on the west end of the beach. You'll find a shield and rusty sword hidden in the undergrowth on the west side of the path. This will come in handy shortly. You can then take either the cave to the north, which has several gnomes inside, or follow the path east and north. The latter is safest at this point of the game. Go that way, avoid the animals following the road north (its the only way you can go) You need to kill the wolf and rat on route to an abandoned house. When you get to the abandoned house you'll complete the quest. 3) Investigate The Abandoned House Reward: 25 Experience You simply need to walk into the house. 4) Find The Key In The Abandoned House Reward: 25 Experience Talk to Sara to trigger this quest (or just find the key). The key is on the floor in the house by the bed. 5) Loot The Chest In The Abandoned House Reward: 25 Experience When you find the key talk to Sara again or just open the chest to trigger the quest. Opening the chest also completes the quest 6) Take Some Fried Meat To Sara Reward: 25 Experience Use a pan from the chest and fry some meat. You can find some next to where Sara is sitting if you haven't picked any up yet. Give a piece to Sara to complete the quest. 7) Alone And Abandoned Reward: 50 Experience After you complete the first 6 quests Sara will suggest you head north whilst she stays at the house. This will initialise chapter 1, the forbidden island. Head north and you'll come to an abandoned house. Go inside and meet Jan to complete the quest. 8) Get Yourself A Decent Weapon Reward: 50 Experience 25 Experience, talk to Jan When you meet Jan at the second abandoned house he'll suggest you search the house for a better weapon. Open the cupboard on the lower floor and take the key to the chest. Go upstairs and open the chest. You'll find a sword inside (along with a small map of the island). talk to Jan for additional experience. 9) Save Sara From The Wilderness Reward: 1 Strong Healing Potion, talk to Sara 50 Experience, talk to Sara Speak with Jan and tell him about Sara, he'll say that he'll visit and take her somewhere safe when he passes there later. Go back and speak to Sara and tell her Jan will come to see her. 10) Follow Jan To The West Reward: 25 Experience When you chose to follow Jan to the Bandit Camp in the swamp you'll trigger this quest. You simply follow him to and he'll show you a ruin guarded by the inquisition. This will complete the first part of this quest. 11) Continue Following Jan To The West Reward: 25 Experience As the quest name suggests just continue following him and he'll stop again and tell you to head north to the camp. Jan will head back to the abandoned house. 12) Follow Jan To The Novices Farm In The East Reward: 50 Experience When you choose to follow Jan to Harbour City he'll take you to the farm in the east where you'll find several inquisition initiatives. Don't worry these guys are friendly. 13) Help The Novices Farm Reward: 20 Gold 50 Experience - Grain Harvest 50 Experience - Tellur has no work for you 25 Gold 50 Experience - Hungry Wolves 75 Experience - complete all quests and talk to Tellur 2 Healing Potions - complete all quests and talk to Tellur 1 Bread - complete all quests and talk to Tellur 1 Water - complete all quests and talk to Tellur Talk to Tristan on the small farm to trigger this mission. He'll give you rewards when you complete the quest for Thomas and Henson. When you have completed all quests talk to him again for additional rewards. Tellur will now guide you to Harbour Town. 14) Help Thomas In The Fields Reward: 50 Experience 1 Healing Potion Thomas wants you help him to harvest the wheat grain. Agree and wander around his filed and pick 10. They're all in his field not in the field opposite. 14) Grain Harvest Reward: 50 Experience When you have picked all 10 grains from Thomas fields you'll complete this quest. 15) Kill The Hungry Wolves Reward: 50 Experience 75 Experience, talk to Henson 1 Strong Magic Healing Scroll, talk to Henson Henson will ask you to kill the hungry wolves in the mine just north of the village. Kill all 5 hungry wolves to complete the quest. Return to Henson, he'll tell you that you need to hide from the warrior of the order who has arrived on the farm. Simply go to the barn on the western side of farm and use the bed to sleep until the next morning. Talk to Henson for additional rewards 17) Follow Tellur Reward: 50 Experience When you have completed all the task on Tristan's farm speak to Tellur. Follow him to the walkway over the lake to complete the quest. 18) Follow Tellur Across The Dangerous Lake Reward: 50 Experience Keep following Tellur over the lake to the fork in the road. He points out that you can't get in through the west gate because its guarded by the order and you'll have to use the east gate instead. 19) Keep Following Tellur Reward: 50 Experience When he has lead you to the crossroad ask him to continue showing you the way. He'll lead you to the crossroads where the path heads north to the monastery. 20) Follow Tellur One More Time Reward: 50 Experience Ask him to lead you again and follow him to a path that leads south. He'll leave you here and head back to the farm. 21) Rhobart Needs Weed Reward: 50 Experience / 70 Gold When you speak to Rhobart offer to help him to collect his Brugleweed. You need to collect 10 weed plants and then you can sell them to him for 70 gold. The great thing is you can repeat this as often as you like for the cash. 22) The Cursed Lords Reward: 500 Experience 300 Gold, Leon 1 Transform Into Ashbeast Scroll 1 Jest Scroll 1 Open Locks Scroll You get this quest from Leon in the farm north east of Harbour Town. He is getting visions of the undead and wants you to vanquish them and collect 6 Vassal rings. - Leon gives you the first ring - Undead Lord in the lower parts of the ruins on the west side of the island - Undead Lord in ruins on far west of the island - Undead Lord in ruins north of Leon's farm - Undead Lord in ruins in the south east of island - Undead Lord in ruins in far north east of the island Get the rings and return them to Leon to complete this quest. 23) Grave Moths Reward: 250 Experience 50 Experience 25 Gold, Derry Get this from Derry on Severin's farm. There are 8 fluttering moths surround the outskirts of the far (west and north). Kill them to complete the quest. Return to Derry for additional rewards. 24) Thieving Gnomes Reward: 300 Experience 50 Experience, Severin 200 Gold, Reuben Get this from Severin when you ask about the ruins. You need to kill 6 gnomes just north of the farm. Return to Severin when they are dead and he'll tell you to speak to Reuben for a reward. Speak with Rueben for some gold. 25) Overdue Situation Reports Reward: 300 Experience 2 Healing Potions Get this from Severin on the farm north west of harbour town. He'll ask you go and see how Rudolph and his team are doing. You can find them in the ruin site to the south east of the bandit camp. Just speak with Rudolph to complete the quest. 26) Lost Cause Reward: 300 Experience 1 Joke Spell After you have completed the Overdue Situation Report quest you'll trigger this. Go back to Severin and report back on Rudolphs situation. 27) Where Is The Golden Delivery Reward: +250 Experience Get this from the Inquisitor when you ask where to find the disks. Speak with Severin after the gnome attack to complete the quest. 28) Cyrus Is Late Reward: 250 Experience You get this from the Inquisitor when you tell him you'll find Cyrus. You'll find him outside Eldric, the druid, hut. Speak to him to complete the quest. 29) Teleport Stones Reward: When you ask the Inquisitor if there is a quicker way to get to the flame gate he'll give you the volcano teleport stone and trigger this quest. There are 14 stones to collect: - Bandit Camp, talk to Fincher to get this - East Coast, on lizardman who just north of Jasmins house after you have cleared the eastern temple. - Eastern Temple, from lizard priest in the bottom of the temple - Eastern Volcano cave, from Eldrics hut follow the path up the hill to get to the eastern entrance. A lizardman in the back of the main cave has it - Harbour Town, talk to Belschwur - Northeastern Temple, off the priest in the liazrdman prison. - Northern Template, off the lizardman outside the temple where you got the fire crystal, just outside the monastery. - Plains Temple, lizardman guarding the temple just north of Tildas farm - Southeast Coast, on lizardman who appears near farm where gnomes were after you have cleared the eastern temple. - Southern Ruins, lizardman has this on the road just south of where Stan is (south of Tilda's farm) - Southwestern Ruins, lizardman has this outside the first ruin you find, just south of house where Jan. is - Western Ruins, on lizardman who appear near crossroads near west ruins and bandit camp after you have cleared the eastern temple. - Western Volcano, undead priest has this behind blue barrier in room opened with two busts - Volcano Stone, the Inquisitor will give this to you 30) Crystal Disks For The Inquisitor Reward: 1000 Experience, give disks to Inquisitor 250 Experience - acquiring all disks 250 Experience, speaking to Severin 100 Experience, acquiring the Don's disk 100 Experience, acquiring the disk from eastern temple When you complete the "follow the inquisitor" quest the Inquisitor will ask you to find the crystal disks. He has 1 but needs 3 more. You will get them for him. Speak with Severin on the farm and he'll tell you the gnomes stole it. - Speak with Don Esteban and he'll give you this disk - Get this from the lizard priest in the bottom of the eastern temple - The Gyrger has one in the eastern ruins - Eldric will fix the broken disk when you have freed him from the lizardman prison Give Mendoza all 5 disks to complete the quest. 31) Uprising Of The Gnomes Reward: 400 Experience 100 Experience, Severin 200 Gold, Severin Speak with Severin at the farm in chapter 2 and you'll trigger this quest. 10 looting gnomes will appear and attack the farm. Kill them all to complete the quest 32) The Stolen Crystal Disk Reward: 400 Experience 150 Experience, Severin 500 Gold, Severin Severin gives you this quest. He says the gnomes have stolen the Inquisitors disk and they came from the east. You offer to get it back. You need to kill the Gyrger in the eastern ruins to get this. Speak with Severin to gain additional rewards. 33) Off To The West Coast Reward: +300 Experience You get this quest after speaking to Patty on beach outside Harbour Town. Agree to help her then follow her to trigger the quest. She will head for the graveyard near the crossroads leading to the swamp. You should clear the path before starting this quest although when you do start it you'll meet several creatures on the journey. If you let Patty kill them you still get the experience. Talk to her when she stops to complete the quest. 34) Steelbeard's Next Clue Reward: 200 Experience When you complete the "off to the west coast" quest Patty will give you the her master key and trigger this quest. Look for the grave marked unnamed scoundrel and dig to find a hidden treasure quest. Open it and take Steelbeards casket from inside. Speak to Patty to complete the quest. 35) The Legacy Of The Great Pirate Reward: 500 Experience When you complete "Stealbeard's Next Clue" quest you will trigger this quest with Patty. You need to complete the quests to get Steelbeards map and rescue Patty. Then give the map to Patty. 36) Nameless Graves Reward: 1000 Experience 100 Experience, Vasili when the fifth clue is obtained 100 Experience, Erikson when the first clue is obtained Patty will give you this. She'll mark 5 unmarked graves on your map. You need to visit each site and get information found there. Just open the map and select the quest and you'll see their locations: - On small island south east of Harbour Town. You'll meet Erikson on the way, speak to him for additional experience. Chest is in grave on west side of island (250 Gold Letter From Captain Steelbeard - Mutineers 1) - Grave is on a ledge above Tristans farm. To get to it head down the path from the monastery and then west towards a lake. Near the edge of the cliff is a gold vein. Drop down onto the ledge below. The chest is in the grave. Use the Crystal Ball Of Levitation to get back to ground level (in a shack on the ledge) (250 Gold Goblet Letter From Captain Steelbeard - Mutineers 2) - Near beech west of Harbour Town, chest is by grave near cliffs (200 Gold Necklace Letter From Captain Steelbeard - Mutineers 3) - Grave is on a ledge just south of to the farm where Leon is (150 Gold Max Dexterity +5 Potion Goblet Letter From Captain Steelbeard - Mutineers 4) - You'll meet Vasili on the way to the this one. You need to kill a lot of monsters so you can enlist his help if you want. Follow the path down killing all the creatures. The grave is at the bottom of the path near the gold vein before you get to the ruined buildings. (400 Gold Letter From Captain Steelbeard - Mutineers 5) Completing this quest also completes the "Patty In Trouble" quest. 37) Patty In Trouble Reward: 250 Experience This quest is triggered in one of two ways: - Speak with Balturo in the Don's temple - When you complete the nameless graves quest. Speak with Patty about Balturo or just complete the nameless grave quest to complete this quest. 38) Follow Eronga Reward: 200 Experience Go to where Patty was in the graveyard and Eronga will appear there. He'll tell you if you want to see her again you need to follow him to Romanov. Agree to follow him and follow him to the edge of the ruins to complete the quest. He'll tell you Romanov is in the north west and then leave you. 39) The Mystery Of The Eastern Temple Reward: 500 Experience Fincher will give you this quest. He needs you to find out what has happened to his men over at the eastern temple. He'll mark it on the map. When you kill the lizard priest and take the crystal disk you'll complete this quest. He's in the basement of the ruins. You'll need to get all 3 old busts from Olf, Dytar and Dirk. Then go through the grated path, using the busts on the altars. Then either use the nautilus scroll to go through wall to cave with sarcophaguses or the levitation spell to get over the spikes. Use the ring on wall near spikes to disable the trap. Keep following the route down and into large cave with the lizard priest. 40) Romanov's Deal Reward: 500 Experience When you find Romanov in the ruins on the far west of the island he'll offer you a choice of getting Steelbeard's loot for him or Patty gets killed. You can either choose to save Patty or take the loot. Choose to save Patty because you get the gold anyway so you can trigger additional quests. Agree to swap the Steelbeards loot for Patty. You need to get past Steelbeards traps. The loot is in Dillingers chest (see find steelbeards big treasure). He's only interested in the map you can keep the rest. 41) Find Steelbeards Big Treasure Reward: 1000 Experience Loot is in Dillingers chest in cave in far west of island. - 900 Gold - Pearl Necklace - Gold Ring - Vial (x2) - Rum - Torch - Golden Disk - Candlestick - Steelbeard's Nautical Map 42) Where's Patty Reward: 400 Experience If you do Romanov's deal and ask to free Patty he'll tell you she's in the ruins south of the cave. Go back to the ruins and use the key Romanov gave you on the door. 43) Steelbeards Nautical Map Reward: 250 Experience When you have rescued Patty from the cell in the ruins she'll give you this quest. Tell her to follow you and head to the beech outside Harbour Town. Approach Romanov and kill him and his pirates. Get the map from his body and give it to Patty. 44) Find Danilo The Fighter Reward: 350 Experience 50 Experience, Adan 50 Experience, Makilo Speak to Maliko at the entrance to the eastern temple. He'll tell you Danilo went into the ruins and hasn't come out. You agree to help find him. Follow the tunnel and speak with Adan, he'll tell you Danilo went down a tunnel with one of the treasure hunters and hasn't been seen since. Follow the only other exit and you'll find a cave with 2 ghouls. Kill the ghouls and you'll find Danilos body here. Examine the body and take the coin to complete the quest. 45) Find An Exit From The Eastern Temple Reward: 300 Experience 100 Experience, Dirk 1 Old Bust When you drop through the trapdoor in the entrance follow the tunnel to find Dirk. Speak with him to initiate the quest. Follow the hole in the wall and kill the Ghoul in the cave. Follow the cave to the exit into the tunnel. Turn right and then follow the tunnel to the end. Use the winch to open the grate and complete the quest. Go back and speak with Dirk for more experience and an old bust. 46) Lost In The East Temple Reward: 250 Experience 50 Experience, Olf 100 Experience, Dytar Speak with Dytar and he'll ask you to find Olf. Agree to help him. Follow the tunnel and kill the ghoul you'll find in the final cave. Use the lever at the side of the door to open the grate. Go inside and speak with Olf to complete the quest. 47) Tell Fincher About The Debacle At The Eastern Temple Reward: 400 Experience 150 Experience, Fincher 300 Gold, Fincher When you have cleared the eastern temple and killed the lizard priest return to the bandit camp and speak with Fincher. This will initiate and complete the quest. 48) Take 15 Tool Bags From The Gnomes Reward: 500 Experience When you collect 15 gnome toolbags you'll complete this quest. Part of the quest for Walter who will take them off you. 49) The Legend Of The Gyrger Reward: 1000 Experience 1 Horn Bow, Henrik 30 Arrows, Henrik 150 Experience, Henrik Speak to Henrik and agree to help him find the Gyrger to initiate this quest. Get him to follow you to the ruins in the far north east. Descend into the ruins and kill the Gyrger to complete the mission. Talk to Henrik for additional rewards. 50) Find All The Vasal Rings Reward: 500 Experience When you find all the Vasal rings from Leon and the Undead lords you'll complete this quest. - Leon gives you the first ring - Undead Lord in the lower parts of the ruins on the west side of the island - Undead Lord in ruins on far west of the island - Undead Lord in ruins north of Leon's farm - Undead Lord in ruins in the south east of island - Undead Lord in ruins in far north east of the island 51) Kill Lord Patroscon Reward: 300 Experience 50 Experience, Leon You'll find him in the lower part of the big cave that connects the main island to the eastern side of the island. Kill him to complete this quest. Speak to Leon and tell him he's dead for additional experience. 52) Searching The Druids Hut Reward: 150 Experience 50 Experience, Cyrus Speak to Cyrus about the druid Eldric. He'll say he's missing and tell you to search his hut for clues. Search the Eldric's hut and find a torn sleeve. Pick it up to complete the quest then return and speak with Cyrus. 53) No Sign Of Eldric Reward: 500 Experience 200 Experience, following Rufo 50 Experience, ask Cyrus for help 1 Amulet of power (+5 Dexterity, +5 Strength), Eldric 100 Experience, Mendoza - tell him of the Saurians After completing the searching the druids hut quest you'll trigger this quest. Go back and speak with Jasmin to see if she's seen him. She'll offer to loan you Rufo, her wolf, for 200 gold. Pay her and you'll receive 2 wild boar skins and 3 wolf skins. Give Rufo some raw meat and then tell him to seek. Follow the wolf, he'll stop at several points. Eventually you'll end up at a ruin with a magical barrier. Use the barrier then return to Cyrus and ask him for help. get him to follow you back to the ruins. Ask him to help when you get to the barrier and he'll give you 3 destroy magic barrier scrolls. Use one of the scrolls to destroy the barrier. Go inside and head right. The first difficult chest you come to has a map of the prison inside. You'll find a watchman on the eastern side of the prison. he has a cell key in his inventory. In the upper part of the square room you'll find Drok, the ogre who'll tell you Eldric might be on the other side of the stone wall. Return to the main cave area and use the winch in the east to open the wall. Go through and pull the ring on the wall to the right to open a secret passage. Kill the priest inside and open the cell. Talk to Eldric inside to complete the quest. Give Eldric his staff and he'll give you an amulet of power. 54) Druid Staff Found Reward: 300 Experience Rufo will lead you to the staff, guarded by 2 gnomes. Pick it up to complete the quest. 55) Get The Damaged Disk From Cyrus Reward: 250 Experience Speak with Eldric about the disk and he'll tell you he won't work with mages and to get the disk and return to him. Ask Cyrus for the disk to complete the quest. 56) Follow Eldric To His Hut Reward: 100 Experience When you get the disk back from Cyrus he'll leave the group. Speak to Eldric and say you want to go to his hut to trigger this quest. Follow him back to his hut to complete the quest. 57) The Broken Disk Reward: 250 Experience Ask Eldric to repair the disk to trigger this quest. Then follow him to the magic table, near his hut. He'll fix the crystal to complete the quest. 58) Eldric Needs A Magic Crystal Reward: 200 Experience Ask Eldric how he can he'll the crystal. he'll tell you he needs an active crystal. He'll give you the key to his chest and tell you to get one from there. Get the magic crystal from his chest then speak with Eldric again. Give him the magic crystal you just picked up. 59) Report To The Druid About The Temple Reward: ? 2 Speed Scrolls 2 Transform Into Ashbeast Scrolls Eldric will ask you to let him know about the temple, agree that you will seek his advice to trigger this quest. Come back at the start of chapter 4 and he'll give you some scrolls. He'll ask you to return when you have the armour. I think this quest is broken because I couldn't complete it as a mage. 60) Assisting The Mages Reward: 50 Experience 1 Amulet Of The Holy Flame Inquisitor Mendoza will give you this task when you give him all 5 crystal disks. Go and speak with Ignatius to complete the quest. He'll give you the amulet of the holy flame. 61) The Gate Into The Volcano Reward: 500 Experience When you have all disks speak to Mendoza then tell him you're ready. He'll open the door. When he does the following will come out: 1x Lizardmand Priest 2x Scout 5 x Lizardman Warrior The quest will complete automatically. Speak with Mendoza after to kick off chapter 3. 62) Drive Out The Intruders Reward: 500 Experience 150 Experience, Abrax Master Abrax will give you this when the lizardmen take over the monastery. There are 10 "intruder" lizardmen you need to kill to complete this mission. Head to the library and through the secret door. Kill them all to complete the quest then speak to Abrax for additional rewards. 63) Open The Great Gate Reward: 1000 Experience 50 Experience, telling Mendoza Rufus is dead Mendoza gives you this when you descend into the temple. Go north and climb up the rocks. You'll see some Nautilus behind which is a small tunnel. You need to change into a nautilus to get through a small hole, follow the tunnel. Kill the ghouls in the room and in the tunnel. Climb up in the end room. Follow the tunnel to the bend. There is a floor trap which you need to jump over. Kill the two lizardmen and continue until you spot a spy trap in the corridor. Jump that and continue into a exit less room. The middle contains a floor trap which you need to drop through and kill 2 Brontock. Follow the exit up and kill 2 more lizardmen. You'll find a room with a winch. Activate the winch. Transport out and go back to Mendoza. He'll say that Rufus went south so go south and climb up the path. Kill the lizardmen you can see and get across the other side. You can jump if you do it on the right, if you struggle just use a levitation scroll. You'll find Rufus body on the floor. On the right of the room an exit with a lever at the end. Pull that to disable the fire trap in the other tunnel. Take the other tunnel, go past the first grate. Look right and you'll see a bricked up wall. Click on this and you'll knock it down. Kill the lizardman behind and take the tunnel. Use the lever to disable the spike and fire trap. Kill the watchman and lizardman at the end of the tunnel. When you get to the roof there are two alters. Use the two busts you will have picked up getting to both winches on the alters to open the grate. Got through and use the winch. Go back to and talk to Mendoza to complete the quest. 64) The Tunnel Reward: 500 Experience When the gate is opened speak with Mendoza who'll start this quest. Go inside and use telekinesis on the lever to stop the block crushing you. This will complete this quest. 65) Open The Large Drawbridge Reward: 1000 Experience After completing "the tunnel" quest the order will storm into the tunnel. Kill all the lizardmen and brontocks that appear. Speak with Mendoza and he'll ask you to find a way to lower the drawbridge so they can proceed. Firstly follow the path to a small drawbridge and use a levitation spell to cross. the winch will drop the drawbridge. Continue down the tunnel and talk to Brent in the caves. Complete the "search for the map" quest outlined below then go back and speak with Mendoza. A room will have opened up which wasn't there before so just follow him. Kill the lizardmen then continue following him. Complete the "opening the crypt" quest. Follow Mendoza again and he'll give you a bust. Use it on the altar and kill the lizards and monsters in the room that opens up. Continue following Mendoza into a room. Read the pillar and then follow him again back to "Vince". Use a nautilus scroll and go under the wall (whilst in the spell you won't be attacked). Go forward into a big room head up the stairs just to your right across the room. Follow the room to the end and you'll see a winch. Operate the winch to complete the quest. Mendoza will then stream into the crypts. 66) The Search For The Map Reward: 750 Experience When you speak to Brent in the caves past the small drawbridge he'll tell you to speak with Jorganson in the swamp to get more information on the map. Take the tunnel east which leads down to an underground swamp. Kill the single ghoul and go across the cave to meet Jorganson. He'll tell you to follow the path through the valley to find the lizards. Follow the path upwards. Kill all the lizardmen, the watchman has the key to release Drok the ogre. He'll come with you and help you so let him tag along if you want. Follow the path down the mountain and speak with Eldric he'll tell you the group is on the way to the hunters hut. Go to Henrik and Jasmin's hut and kill the 4 hunters and the leader to complete the quest. Killing the hunters and leader will complete the "lizard invasion" too. 67) Lizard Invasion (1) Reward: 200 Experience Go to the east coast of the island where Jasmin and Henrik's hut is. Kill the hunters and leader that appear. 68) The Opening To The Crypt Reward: 100 Experience 100 Experience, talk to Mendoza When you have given the map to Mendoza and followed him he'll ask you to find Ethan to break through the weak wall. There is a slight error here, you actually need to speak to Vince. Go back two rooms and speak with the guy there to complete the quest. 69) The Crypt Has Been Reached Reward: 1000 Experience Use the nautilus scroll and crawl through the hole in the crypt that "Vince" creates. 70) Free The Ghost Ursegor Reward: 1000 Experience 100 Experience, Mendoza When you get into the crypts and find the winch to drop the drawbridge, you'll find the gatekeeper near to the winch. He has a key in his armour to a room at the far end of the L-shaped corridor where you entered the crypts. Open the door with the key and go inside. Ursegors ghost in on the throne at the end of the room. Speak with the ghost to trigger this quest. Before leaving grab the lizard bust by sarcophagus in Usegors chamber. This is needed to open the three tombs by placing it on the altar. Zul Utor is the closet to Ursegor chamber. Go into the first room on the off the main L-shaped hallway. Use the lizard bust to open the door and go down the steps. kill Zul Utor and get his skull and the soul splinter. Zel Zeret is in the next room with the altar in the main hall. Use the lizard bust to open it. Kill him and get his skull and soul splinter from the body. Zal Zaran in the room down some stairs off the corner of the north west corner of the L-shaped corridor. Kill him and get his skull and soul splinter from the body. When you have all three return to Ursegor. Speak with him to complete the quest. 71) The Titan Trap Reward: 1000 Experience This is triggered by Ursegor once you have released him. get Ursegors skull from his sarcophagus. Go back into the main hallway and to the big golden gate. You'll complete the quest but it won't tell you. You still get the experience though. 72) Find All The Pieces Of The Titan Armour Reward: 5000 Experience Ursegor will give you this quest when Mendoza goes through the golden gate. He'll ask you to find all the pieces of his armour to become a Titan Lord. He'll also instruct you to find his warhammer. He'll go on to say you need to find the 5 Saurian High Priest tombs: - The Titan Hammer (see "The Titan Hammer" quest) - Armour and Titan Crossbow (see "A Piece Of The Titan Armour" quest) - Armour and Titan Staff (see "A Piece Of The Titan Armour" quest) - Titans Shield, eastern volcano temple (see "The Titan Shield" quest) - Titans Helmet, western volcano temple (see "The Titan Helmet" quest) 73) The Titan Hammer Reward: 1000 Experience Head to the Dons cave and go inside the back and use a break magical barrier scroll. Go along tunnel into the big room and climb up the left hand side of the room. There are two walls that can be broken choose the left one. Press the switch inside to open a secret wall outside. Proceed through the newly opened doorway in the western wall. Inside is an annoying moving spike trap: --- --- --- | | | 6 | --- --- --- | | 4 | 5 | --- --- --- | 2 | 3 | | --- --- --- | 1 | | | --- --- --- Watch the pattern and make your way across from 1 to 6. On the other side is a sarcophagus. Open it and kill the skeleton that jumps out. Get the lizard mage bust from his body. Return to the main cavern, you now need to get up on the eastern side. Climb up on the ledge on the south wall and use levitation to cross over to the east side. Break the middle wall near the torch to reveal a room with the switch. Press the switch to open a secret room outside. Enter the new room and you'll see 5 sarcophagus's: | | | | | 3 | | | --- ------- ------- | 2 | | 4 | ------- ------- ------- ------- | 1 | | 5 | ------- ------- Open number 4 in the corner and get the lizard mage bust. Number 3 also has some loot. The others are all traps and contain a skeleton. Return to the main hall and find the alters on the north wall. Use the mage bust on each of the altars to open the door in the north wall. Inside the room are 2 undead beasts and a shadow lord. Kill both of the undead beasts. To kill the lord you must lure him over the grate in the middle of the room and hit one of the switches to fry him. He has the Titan warhammer in his inventory. The switch is the only way to kill him. 74) Get The Rune From Ursegor's Sarcophagus Reward: 200 Experience Ursegor will tell you to retrieve a rune from his sarcophagus. This rune can be used to lift the blue magic seals in some of the temples. Simply go back and open his Sarcophagus again and its in there. Take it to complete the quest. 75) Talk To Esteban About The Volcano Temple Reward: 500 Experience 1 Strenght +5 Permanent Potion Speak with Ignatius at the start of chapter 4 and he'll tell you that you'll need to speak to the Don about getting inside his ruin. Speak to him to complete the mission. 76) Talk To Carlos About The Volcano Temple Reward: 500 Experience 3 Berserker Scrolls Speak with Ignatius at the start of chapter 4 and he'll tell you that you'll need to speak to the Commandant Carlos about Mendoza. Simply speak with Carlos back in Harbour town to complete this quest. 77) Lizard Invasion (2) Reward: 500 Experience 100 Experience, talk to Severin At the start of chapter 4 speak to Severin at the camp to trigger this quest. 5 Angry Lizardmen will appear. Kill them all to complete this quest. 78) Spying Scouts Reward: 300 Experience Not sure who gives this quest but if you kill the 3 spying scouts near the secret entrance to the Harbour Town, you'll complete this quest. 79) The Leader Of The Lizard Warriors Reward: 500 Experience There are 4 lizardmen leaders to find and kill: - Just south of Stan near Harbour Town - Just north of eastern entrance to Harbour town - Outside the "plains temple" ruin entrance - West side of island, above waterfall between the two sets of ruins. Not sure how this is triggered other than killing all 4 Lizardman leaders. 80) The Lizard leader Outside Harbour Town Reward: 500 Experience (see quest "The leader Of The Lizard Warriors") When you open the Volcano Temple a lizardman leader will appear on the plateau just south of Stan. Kill him to complete the quest. 81) The Lizard Leader Behind Harbour Town Reward: 500 Experience (see quest "The leader Of The Lizard Warriors") When you open the Volcano Temple a lizardman leader will appear outside the east gate. Kill him to complete the quest. 82) A Trip To The Waterfall With Patty Reward: 400 Experience When you are looking for the tombs in chapter 4 head to the path to the west coast. You'll meet Patty on the way who will agree to join you. You need to fight through loads of Lizardmen to reach the waterfall to complete the quest. 83) A Piece Of The Titan Armour Reward: 1000 Experience Head into the waterfall marked on the map on the western side of the island. You can get Patty to accompany you (see "A Trip To The Waterfall With Patty"). Follow the path through the cave upwards, killing the monsters, including an ashbeast. Climb up into a room with a barrier blocking the doorway on the northern side. Use the destroy barrier scroll to open the door. Kill the ghoul and continue. The tunnel has a hole downwards and spike trap which you can jump over. Kill the two undead guys further on. The ring on the wall will disable the trap when you've jumped over it. In the middle of the room is a trap door which will drop you down below. The room also has a lever that opens a gate and a moving block dead ahead. You can go around to the left, jump across the pit and drop down, then follow the path around. There is a lever in the room to disable the block trap. Only worth coming this way for extra loot. Kill the two lizardman and then proceed on to the big long room. Kill the Brontock in there. Read the map column to get a map of the place. Go along the next hallway and use a levitate scroll to get over the two spike traps. Use the lever to disable the spike traps. Use the winch to open the big door. Go across to the other wall and break through the middle sealed door. The switch inside toggles the three doorways. Press it to open the one to the south. Kill the undead beast and follow the path around to a winch, kill the lizardman and use it. Turn around and head back to the room you just came from but take the first right into a new big room. There is a crack in the wall which you can see into the next room. Use a bow and aim at the winch to drop the drawbridge. You can use a nautilus scroll to get into the room to the south for some extra goodies. There are a few lizardmen in here so be prepared. Go back into the main room with the switch and press it to open the door to the north. Follow the corridor and over the drawbridge. Note: you can shoot the switch in this room on the south wall with a bow to open a room in the south west corner. Head around the walls, pull the ring to open the room. Go inside and grab the ruby and loot the sarcophagus. Continue along the hallway. Use the winch and then the lever to open the door to the south. Go back to the main hall and the big door in the north is now open. Kill the 2 undead beasts and follow the hallway north. The chest at the end contains the titan bow and armour piece (brassards and greaves). You can open another secret passage on the left of the chest by clicking on it and breaking through with your pick axe 84) A Piece Of The Titan Armour Reward: 1000 Experience Head to the plains temple. Follow the tunnel forward and left. Use telekinesis on lever to disable the trap. In the next room you'll spot a blue barrier in the north wall. Use a destroy barrier scroll to get through and go north into the tunnel. Break through the wall into room. Use a telekinesis scroll to get the Priest Bust from the wall to the south. Use the bust on the altar to open up a new room in the north west corner. Go to top of the new tunnel and open the sarcophagus. The armour (breastplate) and titan staff are inside. 85) The Titan Shield Reward: 1000 Experience Go into the eastern side of the volcano temple (far north east of island). Follow the path through the cave and you'll come to an ashbeast guarding a blue barrier. Head down the tunnel, kill the lizardmen. Jump over the floor trap and grab the bust at the end of tunnel. Head back around and head south jumping over the trap. use the ring on the wall to make the trap safe. The single sarcophagus in the south is a trap. The other two contain items. The trap in the far south east can be disabled using the lever (the lever also toggles the door to the west). There is a stone tablet in the room with the sarcophagus. The sarcophagus is also a trap. Head back to the tunnel with the trap door near the bust collected earlier. Drop through and hug the wall south, up the hallway and open the door with the lever. Kill the lizardman then dig up a hidden treasure chest in the alcove. Head into the opposite cave. Break through the wall and kill the two lizardmen inside. The collapsed tunnel has an amulet to the north. Head west along the tunnel and use a telekinesis scroll on the lever to disable the trap. Head north and kill the undead beast. The sarcophagus is trapped. There is a stone tablet in this room. Head back down the tunnel and use a levitation scroll to cross to the other side. Kill the undead beast. Use the lever to open the gate back to the starting room. In the wall there is a tunnel you can get through using a nautilus scroll. Kill the lizardman and grab the bust. Loot the sarcophagus for extra items. Go back into the starting room and use the two busts you collected on the altars to open a doorway. Go through the door into the new room to the west. Kill the lizardman and high priest inside. Grab the shield to complete the quest. Go into the alcove, kill the priest and use the lever to open a door back into the main chamber. 86) The Titan Helmet Reward: 1000 Experience You need to make you way into the back of the big cave in the western part of the volcano temple. Get across and use the winch to lower the drawbridge. Drop to the lower part and into the tunnel behind. Head north and use the destroy barrier scroll. Go into the room and kill the lizardmen inside. Get the bust from the room on the left either by using a levitation scroll or just teleporting out. The other bust you need is on the lizardman "Mortares". You need to use a nautilus scroll to get to him. Again to get out the room either use another nautilus scroll or teleport out. Back in the main hall use the two busts on the altars to open the doorway north. Kill the two undead priests in the room and grab the last teleport stone from one. Continue onwards and pull the lever to open the wall at the end. 87) Eldric Must Reforge The Titan Armour Reward: 500 Experience Once you have all the armour pieces you need to go and speak with Eldric the druid. Follow him and he'll reforge the armour for you. 88) Retrieve The Ocular Reward: 200 Experience Return to Ursegor when you have the titans armour reforged. Speak with him then speak with Mendoza to trigger this quest. Kill Mendoza to retrieve his ocular. 89) The Inquisitor Is Dead Reward: 1000 Experience When you have the titan armour and return to the gate where Mendoza went through earlier you will start a fight. Kill Mendoza to complete the mission. 90) Negotiating With The Volcano Keep Reward: 400 Experience Speak to Don Esteban when you join the bandit faction. He wants you to speak with the inquisition leader and get information for him. Simply go to the monastery and speak with the inquisitor to complete the quest. 91) Follow The Inquisitor Reward: 50 Experience When you have completed the "negotiating with the volcano keep" quest you'll trigger this quest. Follow the inquisitor 92) The Sword Stormwind Reward: 100 Experience This quest requires you to get 2 pieces of a sword, when you get them the quest will complete. - In treasure chest under small island just south east of harbour town - in treasure chest in underground ruin in far north east (where one of the undead lords is) 93) Reforging Stormwind Reward: 200 Experience When you complete the quest "the sword stormwind" you'll trigger this quest to reforge the sword. You'll need smithing level 1 skill. Use the forge, anvil, water trough and grindstone to make the sword. 94) The Sword Souldrinker Reward: 200 Experience When you open the treasure chest you'll find a broken sword on the way up to the north eastern temple (near some ogres). When you find the tip (which I forget where) you'll complete this quest. 95) Reforging Souldrinker Reward: 300 Experience When you complete the quest "the sword souldrinker" you'll trigger this quest to reforge the sword. You'll need smithing level 3 skill. Use the forge, anvil, water trough and grindstone to make the sword. 96) Find A Mage Who Can Help You Reward: 200 If you aren't a mage then you'll trigger this at the start of chapter 4 by talking with Ursegor. Speak with Master Illumar and he'll create 5 for you. You can go back for more if you need them (you won't though). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 16.2 - Bandit Camp -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1) The Best Fighter In The Bandit Camp Reward: 200 Experience Speak with Craig about the fights and agree to fight in the arena. This will start the quest. You need to beat the following fighters: - Ricardo (10) - Lorenzo (20) - Craig (50) - Domingo (100) The amount in brackets is the amount you can bet on yourself to win. 2) Forbidden Games Reward: 100 Experience When you agree to gamble with Craig then you'll begin the quest. You need to beat all appoints until there is no one left to gamble on. 3) Defeat Ricardo In The Arena Reward: 100 Experience 50 Experience Speak to Ricardo and challenge him to a fight. Don't forget to bet on this with Craig and collect the winnings after. 4) Defeat Lorenzo In The Arena Reward: 100 Experience 80 Experience Speak to Lorenzo and challenge him to a fight. Don't forget to bet on this with Craig and collect the winnings after. 5) Defeat Craig In The Arena Reward: 150 Experience 60 Experience Speak to Craig and challenge him to a fight. Don't bet on this with Craig because he won't pay out if you loot his belongings after the fight. His possessions are worth more than you would win. 6) Defeat Domingo In The Arena Reward: 200 Experience 70 Experience Speak to Domingo and challenge him to a fight. You'll have to give him a beer or 10 gold to make him fight you. Don't forget to bet on this with Craig and collect the winnings after. 7) Defeat Brogar In The Arena Reward: 300 Experience 100 Experience Challenge Brogar to an Arena fight and defeat him. Don't forget to bet on yourself with Craig. You can complete the quest to get his golden sword piece too if you loot his unconscious body. You can bet on the fight with Craig, for 200 gold. 8) Get Branon To Go Back To Digging Reward: 100 Experience 25 Experience Kill the flying insects at the excavation site in the middle of the swamp. Return to Branon and speak with him to complete the quest. 9) Branon Needs help Reward: 150 Experience 25 Experience, talk to Brogar about Ricardo not being at his post 25 Experience, talk to Branon and say no fighters will help Branon is sitting by the camp fire above the arena. Speak to him and ask him why he isn't working. he will reply that he's not going back to work whilst those flying insects are by the excavation site. Speak to Ricardo who is supposed to be guarding his site to complete the quest. 10) Beer For The Gang Reward: 200 Experience 100 Experience, talk to Rhobart Speak to Rhobar and agree to help him deliver some beer to Rachel in camp. Take the beer and ask for 50 gold, unless your feeling generous. Return to Rhobart with the money. 11) To The Temple Ruins With Lorenzo Reward: 150 Experience Speak to Lorenzo about the Don and his gold and he'll offer to take you to another ruin and split the gold 50/50. Follow him out of the camp to complete the quest. You then have a choice of bribing him for 50 gold or fighting him. 12) Dwight Is To Get Back To Work Reward: 200 Experience Speak to Dwight and tell him he is to get back to work. Tell him Hawkins says so and he'll ignore you, go back and speak with Hawkins then go back to Dwight. Tell him again and he'll go to work. You can bribe him for 20 gold. The best method is to tell him you want him to get back to work. Saves the trip back to Hawkins or the 20 gold. 13) Brogars Lackey Reward: 50 Experience Speak to Brogar and he'll tell you to get him some meat from Rachel. Go to Rachel and ask for some meat. If she's already given you some then you'll have to use whats in your inventory. Go back and give the meat to Brogar. 14) The Workers Are To Work Again Reward: 5 Gold 25 Experience - Dwight 5 Gold 25 Experience - Branon 5 Gold 25 Experience - Enrico 20 Gold 25 Experience - Rachel 200 Experience Speak with Hawkins about the workers and say you'll talk to Brogar. When you get each worker back to work you get some reward from speaking with Hawkins again. Speak to Rachel for additional rewards. 15) Gold Fragments For Oscar Reward: 200 Experience (give sword pieces to Oscar) 50 Gold The blacksmith wants you to get 5 pieces of a golden sword for him to reforge for Don Esteban. You can get the 5 pieces thus: - Craig has one, either loot it of him during the arena fight, pick pocket him or pay him for it - Luis has a piece and its yours for 2 beers - Dorgan has one on his body, in the cave near to Luis - In chest on dig site in swamp, where disgusting insects are - Brogar has a piece (see take the golden fragment from Brogar quest) when you have all the pieces return them to Oscar and he'll give you 50 gold and rebuild you the sword. You have the choice of keeping the sword or giving it back. If you keep it Oscar won't be your friend anymore, no trading or training. If you give it him back he'll agree to train you. Further more, he'll sell it to you for 200 gold so you can buy it. You can get it off him in one of two ways: - Defeat him in the arena and loot his body - Pick his pocket for it Either will make the quest a success. 18) A Bottle Of Beer For The Drunkard Reward: 100 Experience Go and speak with Luis in the swamp camp. Give him beer to complete the quest. 19) Lazy Dog Reward: 200 Experience 25 Experience 25 Gold, Phil 25 Experience, Brogar Get this from Brogar. He wants Clay to replace Phil at Rhobart's farm to the east. Speak to Clay and you have to either bribe him, 20 gold, or fight him. Talk to Phil and Brogar for extra reward. 20) Artefact Delivery Reward: 150 Experience 20 Gold 25 Gold 20 Experience - Rachel Speak with Beppo about the crates and you'll trigger this quest. Once you have Dwight working again you'll complete this quest. Speak to Beppo again to complete the quest. Speak to Rachel for additional rewards. 21) Dangerous Prey Reward: 150 Experience 100 Experience Kill the dangerous worm on the west side of the swamp. 22) Go Hunting With Doug Reward: 200 Experience 30 Gold Talk to Doug about hunting and agree to hunt the Rotworm. Follow him and kill the beast to complete the quest. He'll give you 5 raw meets for the camp. 23) Meat For The Gang Reward: 200 Experience 30 Gold Rachel asks for 10 hunches of meat in exchange for 30 gold. Get the meat anyway possible and return it to her to complete the quest. 24) Gone With The Gold Reward: 250 Experience 50 Experience Get this from Brogar. He'll ask that you look for Dorgan in the swamp. You'll find him in a cave just south east of where Luis camp is. He's guarded by 7 grave moths. Kill them and get the list from his body to complete the quest. Speak to Brogan for additional information. 25) Scurrying Rats Reward: 200 Experience 25 Gold / 50 Experience, from Luis Luis will give you this quest to kill 3 scurrying rats to the south of his camp site. Kill all three to complete the quest. 26) Disgusting Insects Reward: 250 Experience 30 Gold / 50 Experience, from Ricardo Speak with Ricardo about the disgusting flying beasts. Ask him for 30 gold and he'll give you this quest. Kill the 4 disgusting insects in the centre of the swamp. Talk to Ricardo for additional rewards. 27) Protection Against The Ghosts Of The Ancestors Reward: 100 Experience Speak to Enrico in the far south west corner of the swamp. He'll refuse to go back to work. You have to trick him by giving him the useless amulet you find in a chest at the dig site were the disgusting insects were. 28) An Audience With Don Esteban Reward: 400 Experience 25 Experience, Guard Get this from talking with Rachel. The only way in is to give the golden sword Oscar made you to the Don. Speak to Rachel to complete the quest and gain access to the Don. Speak with the guard for an additional 25 experience on the way in. 29) Gold Fever Reward: 150 Experience 100 Gold, Rachel Get this from talking to Rachel. She wants you to find out who's trying to get rich in the camp behind Don Esteban's back. To complete this quest you need to get everyone back doing their jobs, completing the power struggle. 30) Power Struggle Reward: 350 Experience 150 Gold, Rachel 50 Experience, Rachel Get this from talking with Sam about Brogar. You need to do a number of things to complete this quest: - Defeat Brogar in the arena - Collect all the protection money but not pay it to Brogar - Threaten to turn him in to the Don You can get some additional 25 experience rewards from talking to various people as you do these quests, mostly from Rachel. Speak to Rachel and she'll give you additional rewards and Brogars hut. 31) The Hunters Are To Hunt Again Reward: 200 Experience 50 Gold, Sam 20 Gold 25 Experience, Rachel Get this from speaking with Sam. Talk to Sam about Jan. Help Doug and Luis with their quests. To complete this quest you need to complete the power struggle quest then tell Brogar to send Sam back to work hunting. Speak with Sam to complete the quest. You'll also get various 25 experience rewards from talking with Sam and Rachel as this quest goes on. Speak to Rachel again when the quest is complete for additional gold and experience. 32) Dorgan's List Reward: 100 Experience (give list to Brogan) 50 Experience, from Rachel When you find the list on Dorgan's body speak to Brogan and you'll trigger this quest. Talk to Rachel before giving the list to Brogar. Give list to Brogan at any time to complete the quest. 33) Protection Money In The Bandit Camp Reward: 250 Experience 200 Gold (if you keep the gold collected) 50 Gold (if you give Dorgan the gold) 100 Experience, Don Esteban When you have found Dorgans list speak with Brogan about a job. He'll ask you to collect protection money from all the none fighters in the camp: - Rhobart (30 Gold 25 Experience) - Obel (20 Gold 25 Experience) - Luis (20 Gold 25 Experience) - Hawkins (20 Gold 25 Experience) - Enrico (20 Gold 25 Experience) - Dwight (20 Gold 25 Experience) - Doug (20 Gold 25 Experience) - Branon (20 Gold 25 Experience) - Oscar (30 Gold 25 Experience) Take the money from Oscar, he'll still train and trade with you, even though he says otherwise. There is a Danny on Dorgans list but you don't have to collect from him. Might have been a mistake, should be Branon who's not on Dorgans list. If you choose to keep the money, you can go back to Rachel and finish the power struggle quest by threatening Brogan. Tell Esteban about Brogan for an additional 100 experience. If you do, Brogan will flee the camp. 34) Rhobarts Bog Bodies Reward: 250 Experience 50 Experience 50 Gold, Robart When you ask Rhobart for his protection money you'll trigger this quest. You need to kill 3 Tough Bog Bodies by the waterfall. Kill them and return to Rhobart for an additional reward. 35) Go Hunting With Clay Reward: 250 Experience When you trigger the "Rhobarts Bog Bodies" quest, speak with Clay top trigger this mission. 36) Take The Gold Sword To Don Esteban Reward: 1000 Experience 150 Experience 100 Gold, Don Esteban When you gain access to see the Don, give him the golden sword to complete the quest. 37) Conquest Of The Artefact Camp Reward: 500 Experience 50 Experience, Fincher WARNING: If you want training from any of the mercenaries you can't until you complete this quest once triggered! Talk to Fincher in the Don's temple entrance. Ask him about the inquisition and he'll tell you they have a camp by the ruins in the south east. He'll then ask who will lead the men you have 2 responses: - Say I will, in which case you'll lead the attack - tell him he should, in which case he'll ask you to meet him in the swamp and he'll lead the attack Talk to Phil, Craig, Lorenzo, Domingo, Clay and Ricardo and they will follow you. Attack the temple with their help. Remember they can get killed so make sure you have done all the quests that involve them before you begin this quest. You'll need to kill 11 order members in total, including novices, initiatives, warriors and Rudolph. This will complete the quest. Go back and speak to Fincher and he'll give you a choice of who should collect the artefacts: - I'll do it - Let Hawkins take care of it Tell him you'll do it to trigger the "Salvage Work" quest. 38) Salvage Work Reward: 200 Experience When you complete the "Conquest Of The Artefact Camp" quest, speak with Fincher and tell him you'll take care of getting the artefacts from the camp. Speak with Hawkins then to the three workers, asking them to get the crates: 25 Experience, Dwight 25 Experience, Branon 25 Experience, Enrico Go back and speak with Fincher to complete the task. 39) Hawkins Should Retrieve The Artefact crates Reward: 150 Experience Speak with Hawkins when you trigger "salvage work" quest and tell him to do as he's told. He'll head off to the temple and you'll complete the quest. 40) Talk To Master Illuminar Reward: 50 Experience Get this from Cormac the mage in the Dons temple entrance. He'll tell you to seek out Master Illuminar at the monastery. You can only complete this quest if you work for the Don. Simply speak with Illuminar at the monastery to complete the quest. 41) Situation Report For The Don Reward: 300 Experience Talk to the Don and tell him you'll go to Harbour Town and dig up some information for him. That will trigger this mission. You can complete this mission by talk to Scordo in Harbour Town, before joining the order. he's in a hidden storeroom in the brothel. In Gwens room use the picture on the wall to gain access. He'll give you a package for the Don. You can now enter and leave town through a secret passage (only if you join the bandits). 42) Tell The Don Of The Success In The Artefact Camp Reward: 100 Experience 100 Gold When you have completed the quest "conquest the artefact camp", Speak to the Don to complete this quest (yes it is that easy!) 43) Tell Fincher About The Strange Temple In The East Reward: 100 Experience, from Fincher 100 Gold, Fincher 250 Experience, when you find the temple Speak to Fincher about expanding the search for other ruins after you have completed the quest "conquest the artefact camp". He'll ask you to look at the temple ruins in the east and mark it on your map. If you ask him for a better map he'll give you a full map of the island. Its on the east side of the swamp, east of the monastery. Fincher will give additional rewards for telling him about this. 44) Treasure Hunter Wanted Reward: 100 Experience 100 Gold, Fincher 150 Experience, Fincher Speak to Fincher after you have received the "Tell Fincher About The Temple In The East" quest. Offer to help find some treasure hunters for him. You'll find three brothers in Harbour Town who will help. You will find them on the beach if you helped them escape harbour town. Go and speak with Olf to complete the quest. Fincher will give additional rewards for telling him about this. 45) Get Rid Of Brogar For Good Reward: 500 Experience Not sure how you get this quest, it is triggered when you kill Brogar. You need to have completed "Power Struggle" quest to do this. 46) A Job For The Triplets Reward: 100 Experience 150 Gold, Fincher 250 Experience, Fincher Speak to Olf when you have completed the "treasure hunter wanted" quest. This will trigger this quest. Ask him for help and show him the map. This will complete the quest. Fincher will give additional rewards for telling him about this. 47) Crystal Disks For The Don Reward: 300 Experience When you have spoken with the Inquisitor about the crystal disks go back to speak with the Don. He'll tell you obtain all the crystal disks for him. See "crystal disks for the don quest". - The Don has one disk already, you need the other 4. - Get this from the lizard priest in the bottom of the eastern temple - The Gyrger has one in the eastern ruins - Eldric will fix the broken disk when you have freed him from the lizardman prison 48) Estebans Return To Harbour Town Reward: 500 Experience After you have collected all the disks for the Don talk to him and tell him he'll soon be back in Harbour Town to trigger the quest. Go and speak with the Inquisitor. Once you have opened the temple go back and speak with the Don. Then go and speak with Commandant Carlos is Harbour Town. This completes the quest. 49) Talk To Don Esteban In Harbour Town Reward: 300 Experience When you have completed the "Esteban return to Harbour Town" quest go to the Dons house in town and talk to him. Answer is 238. 5) The Farmers Sick Wife Reward: 50 Experience, Flavio 250 Experience 1 Cooking Recipe (meat stew) 2 Healing Potions / 25 Experience, Belschwur After giving Arno a healing potion in the quest for Belschwur he'll ask you to find a bed for his wife. You have two ways of completing this task: - Complete quest from Flavio trading skins for meat and she can sleep in his warehouse for free. - You can pay Costa 25 gold for her to sleep in his hotel Make your decision, when you have go and speak with Arno. He'll let his wife go to Flavio's and go back to work. He'll tell you to speak with Martha for a reward. Speak with Belschwur for a reward. 6) Talk To The Commandant Of Harbour Town Reward: 100 Experience If you have completed the medicine quest for Belschwur a guard will stop you and tell you to go and see the commandant at the command post in the north west of town. By completing missions for him you will move towards joining the inquisitionmages. Check your map for 4 quest points marked in red. Complete the 4 ORDER QUESTS and you'll be summoned back to the commandant. You will complete the mission after talking to him. For each order related mission you complete you get the experience and gold listed above. 8) Get Rid Of Toni Reward: 350 Experience 100 Gold, Hernandez 50 Experience, Hernandez ORDER QUEST (1 of 4) Speak with Hernandez about Toni, he wants to know what he's after. Go speak with Toni and he'll tell you he's after the Don's amulet hidden in a secret room. Go and speak with Hernandez and he'll let you inside. Go to the room on the right as you enter and click on the picture to open a secret room behind the bookcase. The amulet is inside a cupboard in the secret room. Take it and return it to Hernandez. Then tell Toni Hernandez has it to complete the quest. Speak with Hernandez for additional rewards. 9) The Family Heirloom Reward: 150 Experience 150 Gold BANDIT QUEST (1 of 4) Speak with Toni and he'll tell you about the amulet. Agree to get it back for him. Get the amulet as explained in "Get Rid Of Toni Above". This quest can be completed as one of the 4 to align yourself with the Don. 10) Take The Dons Heirloom To Hernandez Reward: 150 Experience 100 Gold ORDER QUEST Speak with Hernandez after speaking with Toni about the amulet and he'll let you into the house. Get the amulet as explained in "Get Rid Of Toni" mission above. Give it to Hernandez to complete the mission. 11) Evidence For Marcello Reward: 200 Experience Speak with Marcello about Weasel, then go and speak to Weasel. Follow the quest "bring the packages back to Weasel" only return the packages to Marcello instead. 12) Bring The Packages Back to Weasel Reward: 300 Experience 100 Gold BANDIT QUEST (2 of 4) Speak with Weasel and offer to help him. He'll ask you to trail Garth who he thinks is stealing. Follow Garth to the Gutters and he'll meet with Cutter the town guard. Speak with them and they will both attack you. Defeat them both and get the brugle weed back. Return the weed to Weasel to complete the quest. This quest can be completed as one of the 4 to align yourself with the Don. 13) Follow Garth Inconspicuously Reward: 200 Experience When you agree to help Weasel you'll trigger the quest to follow Garth. Just follow him at a distance back to the Gutters to complete the quest. 14) Get You Hands On Cutter Reward: 100 Experience After you have followed Garth and defeated him and Cutter you will complete this quest. Don't forget to loot Cutters body for the weed. He has a nice shield too ;o) 15) Weasel Hunt Reward: 350 Experience 150 Gold, Marcello 50 Experience, Marcello ORDER QUEST (2 of 4) When you have complete the packages quest for Weasel but given Marcello the packages you'll trigger this quest. Just go and speak with Weasel and he'll leave. Speak to Marcello for additional rewards. 16) A Good Time With Lilly Reward: 100 Experience She stops you when following Garth. Pay her 100 gold and follow her back to the brothel. This cancels the follow Garth quest. 17) Find Garth Reward: 100 Experience If you except the "A Good Time With Lilly" quest then you'll lose Garth. Go back to Weasel and tell him you lost Garth to trigger this quest. You'll find him in the gutters with Cutter. 17) Sebastian Wants To Know What Delgado Is Planning Reward: 100 Experience Speak with Sebastian and agree to help. He wants to know what Delgado is planning. Speak with Delgado about the protection money (see quest below). Complete the quest but give the money to Sebastian. 18) Protection Money From Carlos Reward: 100 Experience 150 Gold BANDIT QUEST (3 of 4) Speak to Delgardo and he'll ask you to collect protection money off Costa. You need to find Costa and his bodyguard, they're on the edge of the Gutters. speak with Fuller and challenge him to a dual. Beat him in a fight then fight Costa. This way you can fight them both separately. When you beat him he'll pay you the money. return it to Delgardo to complete the quest. This quest can be completed as one of the 4 to align yourself with the Don. 19) Pretending To Work For Delgado Reward: 150 Experience Speak to Sebastian about the protection money then again after you have collected it to complete this quest. 20) Get Rid Of Delgado Reward: 350 Experience 100 Gold, Sebastian 50 Experience, Sebastian ORDER QUEST (3 of 4) When you have done the protection money quest and given the money to Sebastian go and speak with Delgardo. 21) Carasco Wants The Five Plates Back Reward: 250 Experience Speak to Carasco at the warehouse about the missing armour plates. He'll tell you to speak with Lukor. Go and speak with Lukor (see below. When you have all five pieces return them to Carasco to complete the quest. You have a choice of the following additional Reward: - 200 Gold - 5 Medium Healing potions (worth 200) - 5 Medium Mana Potions (worth 200 - Jest Scroll (worth 100) Your choice, jest scroll is worth less but less common in the game. 22) Lukor Wants The Five Armour Plates Reward: 350 Experience 400 Gold BANDIT QUEST (4 of 4) Speak with Lukor by the docks and he'll ask you to retrieve the five armour plates from several dock workers. - Durham has 2 plates, its in his chest if you can pick locks, or pickpocket or you have to pay him 200 gold and he'll give you a key to the chest. - Vasili has 2 plates and can be found around the pub in the docks. You can pay him 200, get him to fight you and loot his body, or pickpocket the items from him. - Speak to Ingvar in the pub, he wants 100 gold for his. If you already have Vaili's pieces he'll accept 50. You can fight him, triggering the "Duel with Ingvar" quest or pay him. Alternatively you can pickpocket the armour from him. Each worker has their own sub quest for this (see below). This quest can be completed as one of the 4 to align yourself with the Don. 23) Vasili's Armour Plates Reward: 50 Experience Get Vasili's armour piece by fair means or foul to complete the quest. 24) Duel With Ingvar Reward: 100 Experience Say you won't pay and you want to fight him for his golden armour piece. Follow him outside to start the quest, then beat him up. Loot his body for the armour to complete the quest. 25) Ingvar's Heavy Armour Plate Reward: 50 Experience Get Ingvars armour piece by fair means or foul to complete the quest. 26) Durhams Armour Plates Reward: 50 Experience Get Durhams Armour plates by fair means or foul to complete this quest. 27) Get Rid Of Lukor Reward: 350 Experience ORDER QUEST (4 of 4) When you have completed the golden armour quest for Carasco, you can offer to get rid of Lukor. Go and speak with Lukor, then go back to Carasco. He'll give you the same choice of rewards as for the armour quest less the item you chose as a reward last time. 28) Find The Three Golden Bowls Reward: 100 Experience Speak to Carasco at the warehouse to trigger this quest. He wants you to retrieve three golden bowls. Two of the three bowls are in the possession of the triplets - Olf, Dytar and Dirk. The other is on a beam in the upper part of the lighthouse. - Dytar, pay him 150 gold or pick pocket the item - Dirk, pay him 150 gold or pick pocket the item - Olf ants 200 gold for the information on his but you can get it and save 200 gold. Collect them all to complete the mission. When you have acquired all three return them to Carasco 29) Good Things Come In Threes Reward: 300 Experience Speak to Carasco at the warehouse about the golden bowls to trigger this quest. When you have acquired all three golden bowls return to him and speak to him to complete the quest. He will also offer you a choice of additional rewards. The rewards are the same as the armour quest for him, less any rewards you have already acquired. 30) Sergio Wants Romanov's Gold Reward: 200 Experience 100 Gold Speak with the order warrior Sergio who is patrolling the docks. Offer to find Romanov's gold for him. Complete Romanov's chest quest and give the chest to Sergio instead. 31) Get Marek's Cell Key Reward: 150 Experience Go onto the far side of the docks, furthest south near the ship to find Marek guarding Captain Romanov's prison cell. Try and talk him into letting you in but he won't. You can get in to see the captain either: - You can fight him for the key and loot the body. - Pickpocket the key from him. - Agree to get him some company (see distraction quest) 32) Distraction For The Prison Guard Reward: 200 Experience Go speak with Anika, the prostitute on the bench near the warehouse. She'll tell you to speak with the brothel owner. Pay her 50 gold and return to Anika. Speak with her and she'll follow you to Marek. He'll give you the key and you can speak with the captain. 33) Romanov's Seaman's Chest Reward: 250 Experience 300 Gold BANDIT QUEST (5 of 4) Speak with Romanov in the prison and he'll give you a key and ask you to retrieve his chest. Its in a locked chest in the upper floor of the warehouse. You can sneak in and up to it or you can climb on the room near Durhams room then come in across the roof. The latter is useful if you don't have the sneak skill yet. Give him the chest to complete the quest. This quest can be completed as one of the 4 to align yourself with the Don. 34) Find The Burglars Spy Reward: 200 Experience Speak to Rodriguez guarding the slaughterhouse about break ins to trigger this quest. You need to speak to the three victims to gather information: - Baxter, next door to the slaughterhouse - Nelson, north of pub on the outskirts of the Gutters - Flavio, owns the warehouse in the Gutters Go and speak with each to gather information. Speak with the suspects Mo, Pavel, Vasili and Doyle. Doyle appears to be the only person at all three burglaries. Go and speak to him in Costas hotel. He'll fold and confess 35) Nelsons Ring Reward: 150 Experience Nelsons Ring Speak with Nelson about the break in and ask what was stolen. Agree to get his ring back. Kayleigh has it so you can either complete the "pearls for a lady" quest or just pickpocket it of her. Go speak with Nelson to complete the quest. You get to keep the ring too! 36) Pearls For A Lady Reward: 50 Experience Speak with Kayleigh, Cid's wife about her ring. She wants a pearl necklace in exchange for the ring. You can get one from the chest in the barn on Tristans farm. Give her the necklace for Nelsons ring. 37) Get Rid Of Cid Reward: 350 Experience 150 Gold 50 Experience When you get Doyle to confess to being the Burglars spy turn him into the order to start this quest. Speak with Rodriguez for some extra experience then to Sid to complete the quest. Go back to speak with Rodriguez for additional experience. 38) The Imprisoned Treasure Hunter Reward: 150 Experience When you speak with Dirk he'll mention his brother might be in a spot of trouble. Tell him you'll help him to trigger the quest. You need to get the three golden bowls and give them to Carasco or Scordo, Return and speak with Hernandez and he'll let him go. 39) A Gathering Of Triplets Reward: 300 Experience Speak with Olf in the Dons house and agree to help him. he'll ask you to get his brothers Dytar and Dirk to meet at their meeting place (the lighthouse). Simply go and speak with them both and then 40) Philus Wants To Sell His Fish Shop Reward: 200 Experience 2 Pearls, Philus Speak to Philus and he'll try and sell you his shop. tell him you'll find a buyer. Go to the pub and speak with Nico, he'll agree to buy it if you buy his ring. Do so and return to Philus to complete the quest. 41) Women Beater Reward: 100 Experience 70 Gold, Gwen Speak to Gwen in the brothel to start the task. Speak with Erikson and beat the crap out of him. Go and speak with Gwen to complete the quest. 42) Defeat Erikson Reward: 80 Experience 25 Experience 50 Gold, Sonya Speak with Erikson to trigger a confrontation and this quest. Beat him to complete the quest. Loot his body, you'll need the key he has. Speak with Alvaro and he'll give you some money to get the smiths helpers working again (triggers servants quest). One is on the walkway above the blacksmiths and the other is near the western gate. Pay them and they'll start working. Return to Alvaro and Walter to complete the quest. 46) Send The Servants Home Reward: 50 Experience Speak with Alvaro regarding Walter getting a break to trigger this task. He'll give you 120 gold. He wants 10 healing herbs, 5 healing plants and 2 healing roots. Gather these plants and return to Leonardo. Speak with him and give him the plants to complete the quest. 62) Lizard Swords Reward: 100 Experience When you have a lizard sword in your inventory speak to Walter and show him the sword to trigger this quest. Ask him if he can make a sword like it to complete the quest. He'll tell you that he can make a sword if you bring him some obsidian and gold. 63) Duel With Finn Reward: 50 Experience Not sure how you get this quest, if you beat him it will complete the quest 64) Dual With Duran Reward: 50 Experience Not sure how you get this quest, if you beat him in a fight you will complete the quest 65) Cole's Hunting Bow Reward: 200 Experience Buy Cole's bow from Costa for 350 gold and give it to Cole to complete this quest. 66) Protection Money From Josh Reward: 100 Experience 100 Gold Delgado gives you this quest after you complete the protection money from Carlos quest. Simply go speak with Josh, the innkeeper in the gutters. He'll offer you information about a chest in the lighthouse. You can either accept his information or refuse and just take the money. Either completes the quest. 67) Clean Out Dargel's Chest Reward: 150 Experience Cid will give you this quest when you complete the quest to get rid of Doyle. He'll ask you to rob Dargel. You need to sneak in at night and go upstairs. Take contents of Dargel's chest to complete this quest. 68) A Package For The Don Reward: 300 Experience Scordo will give you a package to deliver to the Don. Take it to the Bandit village and give it to him. 69) Dances With Butchers Reward: 50 Experience Speak with Dargel about protection when Cid sends you on the fleecing the butcher quest. He'll fight you. Defeat him to complete the quest. 70) Collect From Alvaro Reward: 150 Experience 200 Gold 100 Experience Weasel will give you this quest when you have completed his brugleweed quest. Sneak into the armourers at night and go down stairs (picking the lock). Pick the lock on chest in the basement to get a staff. You can also pick Alvaro's pocket for a key to the chest. Speak to Alvaro in the morning and ask him for money for the staff. You can push him for extra money but don't ask him for money "so it doesn't get around". That will cancel the quest. For a bit of irony you can then pick his pocket and steal the staff from him again and sell it him again. 70) Collect From Konrad Reward: 150 Experience 250 Gold 50 Experience, talk to Weasel Weasel will give you this quest when you have completed his brugleweed quest. Speak with Tilda she'll tell you about Konrad's cow, Bertha. Go and speak with Weasel again and he'll suggest you kill the cow and put the head in Konrads bed. Go to the gate on the east side of town. Kill the cow and collect the head from the corpse. Go back to Konrad's and climb on to his room. Drop onto the balcony and sneak into the bedroom. Use the bed to place the skull. Exit by jumping over the balcony. Go back and talk to Weasel then sleep until the next day and go back and talk to Konrad. 71) Fleecing The Butcher Reward: Unknown Cid gives you this quest but you don't seem to be able to complete it. If you talk to him about protection and decide to fight Dargel or not he says that he'll never pay. Give him a beer to complete the quest. 2) Bryn's Dangerous Monsters Reward: 150 Experience 25 Gold (talk to Bryn) 50 Experience (talk to Bryn) When you first meet Bryn just south of the entrance to the Volcano Keep he'll give you this quest. You need to kill the 3 sly gnomes just to the west of his camp fire. 3) The Tests Of The Masters Reward: 600 Experience Get this task when you first meet Pallas in the monastery and choose your path. You will have to complete several quests for each master in order to complete this quest. This is the "main" order quest. Below is the name of the master and the tasks they want you to complete. Vitus - complete the quests "Dalman Trusts You" and "Wisdom In Combat Found" will fulfil his tasks. Abrax - complete the quest "The Test Of Master Abrax" Cyrus - complete the quests "Severin's Artefacts" and "Crates For The Volcano Keep" Ignatius - complete the tasks "The Test Of Master Ignatius" and "The Crystal Of Fire" Illumar - complete the tasks "The Basics Of Scroll Creation", "The Theory Of Scroll Creation" and "The Test Of Master Illumar" Once you've completed these quests for the masters speak to Ignatius and tell him they have been completed. 4) The Gate To The Keep Reward: 100 Ask Kalib about opening the gate and getting out to start this quest. He'll say that on Master Ignatius can tell Pallas to open the gate. If you ask Ignatius, he'll have Pallas open the gate for you. 5) Follow Taylor Reward: 50 Experience After talking with Taylor he'll ask if you want to see you chamber. Agree and follow him to your room. When you arrive speak with him again to complete the quest. 6) Find Hemlar's Murder Reward: 500 Experience choice of strength potion (5 maximum strength permanent) or magic potion (1 maximum mana permanent) 25 Experience, Caspar 25 Experience Sausage, Harlock 25 Experience, Yoki 100 Experience, Ignatius When Taylor shows you to your room you will meet inquisitor Mendoza. He'll task you with finding Hemlar's murderer. Speak with the smith Karlsen about the knife, he'll tell you it one of Harlock's, the cook. Go speak with Harlock and he'll deny the knife is his. When you have discovered Ash was his partner and completed the distribute reefers quest go speak with Caspar then go to the bathhouse. Use one of the bathtubs and the wait for the killer option. Aric is the killer. Talk with him then either attack him and beat him or run back to the courtyard. Either completes the quest. Probably best to dodge the fight because you can't get anything from him if you have already beaten him in the arena. Caspar, Yoki and Harlock will give you additional rewards when you speak to them. 7) Investigate The Crime Scene Reward: 100 Experience When you start looking around your room you need to find three items to complete this quest: - pick up Hemlar's purse near the bed - pick up a small packet of weed from the floor near the body - kitchen knife in Hemlars inventory 8) Get Yourself A Fighting Staff Reward: 50 Experience You get this task after speaking with master Aric in the training yard. Go speak with Karlsen and he'll give you a novices staff for free. Return and speak with Aric to complete the quest. 9) Basic Training Reward: 500 Experience Master Aric gives you this quest. You need to speak with the three recruits below then report back to Master Aric: - Tucker - William - Kato When you have beaten Master Aric, speak with Vitus and complete the quest. he'll give you access to the upper area of the monastery. 10) Fight against Tucker Reward: 100 Experience You have to fight Tucker first as one of the 3 trainers. Talk to him and ask him to fight you then beat him in the arena. 11) Fight Against William Reward: 100 Experience When you have beaten Tucker in the arena, you can fight William. beat him to complete the quest. 12) Katos Lesson Reward: 50 Experience When you have beaten both Tucker and William you need to fight Kato. Unlike the other fights this is in the training yard. 13) Fight Against Kato Reward: 100 Experience When you have beaten Kato in the training yard you can fight him in the arena. Defeat him to complete the quest, then return to Aric. 14) Fight Against Aric Reward: 200 Experience Go back to Aric when you have defeated the three trainees. Challenge and beat him in the arena. 15) Dalman Trusts You Reward: 1 Bottle Of Fireflush (wine) 100 Experience 50 Experience, Dalman Speak with Dalman and agree to find him a replacement. he'll tell you to check the novices sweeping up. Taylor will do it for 10 apples, don't give him your stew. Give him 10 apples (you'll find them dotted around the monastery). Talk to Dalman for additional experience. 16) What Does Harlock Know Reward: 200 Experience When you have started the murder investigation, speak to Vitus and then Caspar. Mention the knife to him to start the quest. You can't talk to him until you have the list of suspects from master Pallas 17) Who Is Hemlars Partner Reward: 150 Experience When you have started the murder investigation, speak to Vitus and then Caspar. Mention the brugle weed to him to start the quest. Speak with Pallas to get a list of suspects and speak with them all. Hemlock will tell you that he used to meet his contact in the cemetery at night. Go speak with Yoki, he'll give you some information and tell you its not Enzo. Go speak with Caspar and he'll rule out Karlsen, Hemlock and Tucker leaving Taylor and Ash. Go talk to Taylor for some more information then go speak with Ash and he'll admit to being his partner. 18) The Circle Of Suspects Reward: 100 Experience When you have triggered the Hemlars partner quest Casper will suggest you speak with Master Pallas. Its likely the murderer has permission to leave the monastery. Speak with Pallas and he'll give you a list of people who have left recently. 19) Access To The Cemetery Reward: 100 Experience when you try and gain access to the cemetery Yoki will stop you. You can either give him Harlock's stew or some brugle weed when you become a dealer. 20) The Test Of Master Vitus Reward: 200 Experience 25 Experience - Dalman quest 25 Experience - Finding the book Talk to master Vitus and ask him for the test. Its in two parts: - Complete the quest for Dalman and talk to Vitus about it - Find "wisdom in combat" book in a chest in the cemetery crypt. Complete both and ask to be trained to complete the quest. 21) Mutual Aid Reward: 100 Experience Speak to Jervis. He'll agree to train you if you get him 2 blank scrolls and an illusion scroll. Give him the items to complete the 22) The Basics Of Scroll Creation Reward: 100 Experience You get this quest from Master Illumar. he wants you to read the two bookstands that give instructions on scroll creation then return to him. Speak with him and you'll complete the quest. 23) Get A Quill Reward: 100 Experience You need to complete "the basics of scroll creation" to kick this quest off. Illumar suggests fellow students may be able to help. Enzo will sell you one for 250 gold, Caspar will give you one for free. No brainer really! 24) Erlan Doesn't Know What To Do Reward: 100 Experience Speak with Erlan about the test and he'll ask you to help with a Nautilus scroll. Tell him the answer when you have it from Enzo (see below). You can choose the joke spell ingredient or some gold. Choose the ingredient. If you choose the money it'll cost you 250 to find out about the jest scroll from Erlan. Net loss of 150 coins. 25) The Theory Of Scroll Creation Reward: 100 Experience Master Illumar will ask you to find out the ingredients for all scrolls for the first runic seal. You can get them from books, other students and reading things. - Magic Light (a couple of gold coins, from Jervis) - Light Healing (healing herb, Rufus will tell you when you get the wisdom in combat book) - Telekinesis (requires wingdust, from bookstand in library) - Nautilus Transformation (requires a nautilus shell, Enzo can provide you this when you tell him about the illusion) - Illusion (requires tusk of a boar, read Very old bookstand in Master Abrax chamber) - Jest (require a pearl, when you tell Erlan about the nautilus shell) Speak with Illumar when you have all of these to complete the quest. 26) Erlan And Enzo's Turkey Reward: 150 Experience 1 Jest Scroll When you ask Erlan about ingredients he'll say Enzo can help but he and Enzo aren't speaking because he stole his turkey. You need to find a turkey for Erlan. You have to buy one for 200 gold from Hemlock. Return to Erlan and give him the turkey to complete the quest. 27) Enzo Is Looking For The Ingredients For An Illusion Scroll Reward: 100 Experience When you ask Enzo about ingredients for Natilus spell he'll help if you can give him the ingredients for an illusion spell. The ingredient for a Nautilus scroll is a Nautilus shell. 28) Crates For The Volcano Keep Reward: 50 Experience, Severin 50 Experience, Cyrus Cyrus wants you to speak to Severin about the crates for the keep. Go down to Tilda's farm when you can leave the monastery and speak with him. Return and speak with Cyrus for additional experience. 29) Severin's Artefacts Reward: 200 Experience 1 minor artefact Cyrus wants you to speak with Severin on Tilda's farm and get any artefacts he has. The ring and disk should then be returned to Cyrus. He'll give you a choice of minor artefacts as a reward: - small ruby (worth 150 gold) - berserker scroll (worth 100 gold) - staff fighter ring (worth 300 gold, staff fighting 1) You may already have the staff fighters ring so you would probably want to choose one of the other two because you can't sell it for much. 2 rings can be worn for 2 to your staff skill. 30) Rufus Is Seeking Wisdom In Combat Reward: 50 Experience Speak to Rufus in the library and he'll tell you he's looking for Wisdom in combat, a book. When you get access to the cemetery look inside the crypt for Berengir's skeleton. Get the key and open the chest at the other end of the hallway. The book is in there. Give the book to Rufus to complete the quest. 31) Wisdom In Combat Found Reward: 50 Experience When you get access to the cemetery look inside the crypt for Berengir's skeleton. The book is in there. 32) The Test Of Master Abrax Reward: 500 Experience 150 Experience 2 Healing Potions, Finding Krayban He'll ask you to find the two students he sent for plants on Tilda's farm. You can't do the quest until you can get out of the monastery. He also wants some plants, he'll give you a list (6 healing plants and 4 mana plants). You can pass the test by just giving him the plants. He still wants to know about the novices. You will find Krayban in the woods to the east of Tilda's farm near some gnomes. Searching his body then returning to Master Abrax and speaking to him will give you additional rewards. This isn't part of the test. 33) The Test Of Master Ignatius Reward: 250 Experience Speak with Ignatius and he'll show you to the library and ask you to read the books there. Simply read the three books to complete the test. 34) The Crystal Of Fire Reward: 300 Experience When you have completed the library quest for Ignatius he'll ask you to find a fire crystal. Nathan had it and went into the ruins then disappeared. To find the ruins leave the monastery and go down the path, head west past the pond killing the fluttering moths on the way. The entrance is guarded by a war cricket. Go inside and kill the 2 gnomes. You then need to get past the traps. The right tunnel you have to use telekinesis on the lever to open the doorway and disable the trap. The left tunnel you need to levitate over the spikes. Then use a nautilus spell to crawl through a hole in the wall on right, then activate the lever. There is one more gnome in the room at the end. The body of Nathan is in there also. Get the crystal from his body and return to Master Ignatius. 35) Distribute The Weed Reefers In The Keep Reward: 400 Experience When Ash admits to being Hemlars partner he'll say the only way to draw out his killer is to become a dealer. He'll give you 10 reefers and tell you to sell them for 50 gold each. Go around and speak to everyone in the keep and offer them some weed, the following should take some: - Taylor - Harlock - Dalman - Kato - Kalib - Karlsen - Tucker - Yoki - Caspar When you've done this speak with Caspar. 36) The Test Of Master Illumar Reward: 100 Experience When you have passed the theory quest he'll ask you to make a scroll. You have to learn the create scroll skill then use one of the writing benches. Click on the rune you want to create a spell from and then speak with Illumar again. 37) A New Post For William Reward: 100 Experience After finding Hemlars killer speak with William and he'll ask about training. Say he should do it and you'll help him. He wants you to get his things from the laboratory. When you kill the intruders you'll pick up Abrax's supplies. Take them back to him to complete the quest. 48) The Lizard Warrior Reward: 400 Experience 100 Experience, Vitus Master Vitus gives you this when the lizardmen attack. he says there is a powerful lizardman in the cemetery directing the attack. Go into the crypt in the cemetery. Find and kill the steadfast lizardman warrior. Talk to Vitus for additional rewards. 49) The Third Runic Seal Of Magic Reward: 300 Experience When you have amassed 150 wisdom speak with Ignatius and tell him you're ready to learn the 3rd runic seal. Spend the 5 learning points to complete the quest. 50) Master Of Magic Reward: 1000 Experience 1 Heavy Mage Robe 5 Blank Scrolls, Illumar 2 Small Rubies, Illumar 2 Strong Healing Potions, Abrax 350 Gold, Cyrus At the start of chapter 4 talk with Master Ignatius and he'll offer to make you a master. Speak to him about this to start the quest. He'll talk to you and give you a heavy mages robe. This completes the quest. 51) The Fourth Runic Seal Of Magic Reward: 400 Experience When you have amassed 2000 wisdom speak with Ignatius and tell him you're ready to learn the 4th runic seal. You can only damage the boss with the Titan weapon and the shield is need to deflect the attacks. Plus it gives the best protection in the game. The Titan boss has 4 defend attacks: 1) Stomp attack 1 If you get close to him when he isn't stunned he'll stamp on you. 2) Stomp attack 2 He'll stamp on the ground and you need to jump to avoid being knocked down by the shockwave. 3) Continuous "laser" attack You can jump over this if you time your jump correctly 4) Projectile attack Spits a fiery projectile towards you that you can block with the Titan Armour shield. If you aim one back at him you can stun him. Throughout the fight the blocks will disappear in the circle. You'll see which because the runes on them will flash in advance. These are the only real danger of dying, make sure you are not standing on when they flash. They do come back so you won't end up standing on one block. The way to defeat the boss is very simple. Wait for him to do his projectile attack and block with the shield. Try to block them so they bounce back towards the Titan. When he gets hit by one of these he'll be temporarily stunned. When this happens run to the middle and do a power attack (hold the attack button down). Basically repeat this several times avoiding his attacks. Eventually you'll trigger a cutscene and an epilogue.
