Welcome to my guide for the PC game, Putt Putt Saves the Zoo! In this guide,
you can find a full walkthrough of the game, a listing of the characters,
some secrets, and a fact-and-question section. To search in this guide, press
the ctrl and F buttons at the same time and enter a search term (found in the
table of contents, below this paragrapgh). Have fun with Putt Putt!

When you first put the disc into your computer, you must go through the
installation process. When you're done with that, your computer should
restart and you'll see a picture of Putt Putt. Click the Start button to
begin your adventure!

      [2.1]  Town and Zoo Hub ................................... [townzo]
After the opening sequence, you get some Zoo Chow from Mr. Baldini. Head to
the right about four times to find yourself at the gates of the zoo. Press
the button on the speaker to be allowed in. Here, Outback Al gives you a
listing of all the animals you must save. First off, head to the snack cart
on the left and get some hot chocolate and cheese snacks. Now head back to
the main screen of the zoo. You can get a camera from the souvenir cart on
the right, but if you don't want it, head north to an area where you can
choose between Arctic Land, the Grasslands, and Jungle Land. Head into Jungle
Land for now.

In the first screen, click the vine to swing across, then head to a new
screen. Click on the box labeled "Zoo" to your left and get the tool box.
Now head tothe right and talk to Masai. Click the lever in the upper right
corner. Head back to the previous screen and then left twice. Examine the
logs and backtrack to the entrance to Jungle Land and exit. This time, let's
go to the Grasslands.

Right off, grab the log in front of you. Then, head right three times. Give
the bag of cheese snacks to the mouse here to save the elephant. Head right
again and grab the shovel. Here, you can also paint Putt Putt different
colors. Now, head left seven or so times and you'll see a seal. Use your
tool box on the peg above the small dam. Choose the tool that's the shape
of the peg to save Sammy seal. Head back to the entrance and exit the
Grasslands. Now, finally, head to Arctic Land.

Open the box labeled "Zoo" and get the rope. Attempt to move forward, but
you'll be stopped by an avalanche. T_T Use your shovel to get through...
In the next screen, give the hot chocolate to the snake to save him. Note
that you can also head north in this screen to play a hockey minigame with
polar bears. Anyway, head left and north. In this minigame, you'll have to
line up ice blocks with differently shaped tips to create a path for the
hippo to get off the ice block on. It's pretty easy. Now, head out of Arctic
Land and into Jungle Land one last time.

      [2.5]  Jungle Land Revisited and Finale ................... [finale]
Head right once and left twice when you enter. Put your log on the open spot
to make a raft. Head right twice and talk to the lion cub Kenya who is
stranded on a rock in the middle of a waterfall. Head right and north. Drop
the rope down to save Kenya. Head down and right. Click on the boulder, then
head left four times and right four times. Click the lever to save Masai.
Enjoy the ending because you've saved the zoo and won the game! The ending
changes slightly depending on what animal you save last, so try playing the
game again and experimenting with different outcomes!

In this section, try out the different hidden extras of the game!
 -If you get a camera from the souvenir cart, you can take pictures and they
will appear during the game's end credits!
 -In the area where you save the snake, head north to play ice hockey with
polar bears! Note that you cannot leave the game until you win or lose.
 -In the are where you find the shovel, you can change the color of Putt
Putt's paint job!
 -Depending on which animal you save last, the ending changes slightly.
 -Interacting with different things in the game enviroment causes different
quirky things to happen!
