F.E.A.R. is, admittedly, the only FPS game that I've ever played to date (apart
from the time when my friend rented Time Crisis 3 for me). I'd never given the
genre much thought or appreciation, but this game really caught my attention 
and interest. 

So, here I am with a walkthrough for it because I thought its FAQ page looked 
rather bare. I'm definitely not a pro at this game, but I thought I might as
share my few strategies and ideas with newer players. This FAQ should be mainly
spoiler-free, but there might be the odd slip here or there so only read up to
where you need to if you don't want to be accidentally spoiled. 

By the way, I'm playing on Moderate difficulty, so there may be changes in 
other difficulty modes that I don't know about (apart from smarter AI and more
or less damage). Please keep this in mind.

Anyway, I hope you find this guide somewhat useful. :)

// NEW F.E.A.R. POINTMAN:
This is the character you play as. He is supposedly cute (according to Jin) and
has superhuman reflexes, and can also slow down time to move at around double 
his normal speed. 

// LEO JANKOWSKI:
A rather disgruntled F.E.A.R. veteran who doesn't quite seem to accept the new
guy, doubting his ability in the field. He also seems to think you're kind of
weird. 

// ROWDY BETTERS:
Director of the F.E.A.R. team, who doesn't get involved with the action himself
and instead monitors each member of the team to give out instructions or new
information.

// JIN SUN-KWON:
The medic and forensics expert of the F.E.A.R. team, who is also trained as a
sniper but whose combat skills aren't put to good use. She apparently finds you
somewhat attractive.

// PAXTON FETTEL:
A psychic who telepathically commands an army of cloned super soldiers to do 
his bidding. Alma seems to have some sort of influence over him.

// ALMA:
A little girl who seems to have some spiritual powers, e.g. burning people's
flesh off their bones and leaving the remains in a huge puddle of blood. There
seems to be a connection between her and you.

1. SlowMo is your best friend in this game (apart from your guns, of course).
   If you're facing a large group of enemies, this ability will help turn the
   situation in your favor. Also, you get an accuracy boost in SlowMo mode,
   which is always helpful.

2. Pick the right guns for the job. A sub-machine gun may do well against 
   normal Replica soldiers, but you'll be doing minimal damage on more heavily 
   armored enemies who will be laughing as they shoot you down. Heavy armor 
   requires heavy weapons, e.g. a shotgun.

3. Headshots are essential. An unaware enemy will die immediately from a
   headshot, and even alert foes will take higher damage. Shooting a few
   unaware enemies in the head from behind cover before bursting into an area
   crawling with soldiers can make the resulting gunfight a bit easier.

4. Keep moving! Running-and-gunning can be hard, but it'll make you a more
   difficult target. Of course, this doesn't mean you should constantly be 
   running around, just make sure you move around often enough so that enemies
   don't get the chance to sneak up on you.

5. Listen to the communication between enemies. This can tell you what they're
   planning to do next as well as your own visibility. You might think they
   haven't spotted you yet, but the communications may tell you otherwise.

  7.1. INTERVAL 1 - Inception

- 7.1.1. POINT OF ORIGIN

After leaving the car, head straight and right into a dead end. Break the 
boards in front of you with your melee button (aim your crosshairs at the board
you're trying to break to make it easier) or with a few bullets, and go 
through. Go to the building next to the burning barrel and enter the door. 

Shoot the rat inside if you feel like killing something, then proceed through
the room. You'll enter a dark room where you'll be prompted to use the 
flashlight, so do so and navigate through to the door, which doesn't quite open
in the way you might expect. In the next room, Jankowski will smash the glass
of the blocked double doors to your left and will tell you to find a way
around. Your objective now is to rendezvous with him. 

Head into the room directly to the right of the staircase to find a HEALTH
BOOSTER. Go back out and ascend the staircase. The door in the next room is
blocked, so you have to go around the left side. Jump over the table in the way
when prompted and continue along the path. Crouch down when prompted to get
past the boarded door. Open the door that closes in your face and navigate
through the rooms until you get to a padlocked door. Shoot the lock and open 
the door, then go up the stairs and through the corridors to get to another set
of blocked doors. However, this time Jankowski will be kind enough to push away
the shelf holding the door shut.

CHECKPOINT

Follow Jankowski through the door and either head through the doorway to your
left or through the broken wall to your right. Eventually you'll come to a dead
body. Approach it and Jankowski will call for Jin to come. Betters then says
that Fettel's signal is coming from close by, and Jankowski will tell you to
look around while he stays to wait for Jin. 

Go through the door near the body and make your way up the stairs and to the
outside area. Move around the area and enter the nearby building, then follow
the rooms until you emerge outside again. Turn right and move between the two
containers/machines until Fettel appears and knocks you out.

When you wake up again, head back to where Jankowski was with the body. If 
you're fast enough you can stop by the stairs and eavesdrop on Jankowski and
Jin's conversation, which is quite interesting. Enter the room and Jin will
dismiss the two men.

  7.2. INTERVAL 2 - Initiation

- 7.2.1. FIRST ENCOUNTER
----

Notice that you have two guns now. It's up to you which one you want to use.
Approach the gate to find that it is closed. 

CHECKPOINT

Your first task is to find the gate controls and open the gate blocking your
team's way. Turn right at the lamppost and go between the fence and the cargo 
containers. You'll see a half-opened garage, crouch to get under it and into 
the storage room. There's a REFLEX BOOSTER sitting on a box to your left. Go
back out and head left. Go up the stairs and proceed straight through to the 
control room, and operate the switch. You'll see the gate being opened. Return
to the others and you'll see the bloody remains of your SFOD-D team. Approach
the bodies and a vision will appear, showing what happened.

CHECKPOINT

The new objective is to meet up with Jankowski's team. Head foward and left 
past the flickering light, and enter the building. Pass the dying man and stop
in front of the door. In the next room are your first enemies, which are 2
Replica soldiers. The game will prompt you to use the lean buttons, which are 
useful in this fight as you can use the doorway as your cover and lean out to
shoot them. Once they're dead, search their bodies for ammo and head through 
the doorway to the left. Go directly forward until you get to another small
storeroom, where a MEDKIT is sitting on a shelf. 

Continue past the double doors on your left and go up the stairs. Follow the
straightforward path until you see a door on your right. Go into the room for
another MEDKIT. Back into the corridors again, and you'll soon reach a dead 
end - but the boards on the window can be broken. Do so and crouch to get 
through the window, then turn right and jump down where the roof ends. Enter 
the door.

CHECKPOINT

As you head along you'll hear some Replica soldiers talking about finding and
eliminating you. When you emerge in a large cargo room, lean out slowly past 
the large box on your left and you should see a lone soldier standing on the 
other side of the room, who makes for an easy headshot. There are a total of 6 
soldiers around this area, and most of them will now proceed to pour in. Pick 
them off one by one. If you don't count 6 bodies, there's probably another guy 
outside. Go into the room in the opposite corner from where you entered the
storage room to find a MEDKIT and another AT-14 PISTOL, then head outside to 
the other side of the area and go through the door on the ledge.

Navigate through the rooms until you get to a dark storeroom. Notice the blue
glow on one of the shelves; use the nearby crates to jump up onto the shelf and
pick up a HEALTH BOOSTER. Continue to the other corner of the room and head
through the door. In the next room are 2 soldiers, with another 1 coming soon; 
you might be able to headshot one while he's unaware, but don't count on it. 
Once you kill them, go pick up the MEDKIT on the wall in an adjacent room, then
visit the other room for two FRAG GRENADES, some BODY ARMOR and another MEDKIT
in an open locker. Go into the next area, which is a large storage room with
lots of big crates and boxes. There're 2 Replica soldiers here, most likely 
hiding behind the crates in front of you. Kill them and proceed. Once you go up
the flight of stairs, you'll see a soldier walking around in a room in front of
you. Kill him and go into the room he was in, and head into the corridor. Turn
left and enter the room near the blockage to pick up a MEDKIT, BODY ARMOR, a 
G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE, 2 FRAG GRENADES and an AT-14 PISTOL. Return to the corridor
and go right this time to emerge above the large cargo room. Jump onto the 
boxes to your left and make your way to the switch room. Listen to the phone
message on the table, then grab the FRAG GRENADE and AT-14 PISTOL before 
pushing the lever. 

When the moving cargo stops, the door on the other side of the room will burst
open. Activate SlowMo and kill the soldiers while they're running out and then
jump back over the boxes. Jump onto the newly moved cargo and to the other side
of the room. Enter the door.

CHECKPOINT

To the right of the fork is a MEDKIT, to the left is a room with a BODY ARMOR
and an AT-14 PISTOL. Go through the door on the other side and you'll be on a
balcony above 3 unaware Replicas. Headshot one unaware and then kill the 
others. Head along the balcony to the doorway on the other side, then go down
the stairs. Turn right at the bottom and pass through the storage area, then go
under the half-open garage door. Turn left and you'll spot an unaware soldier 
in the distance. Shoot him and then kill the other 5 Replicas here. Make for 
the other side of the area and turn right to go down some steps.

CHECKPOINT

Enter the door and pick up the RPL SUB-MACHINE GUN on the table to your left.
Navigate through until you get to the room with blood on the ground. Go into 
the doorway to your right and head to the end to find a HEALTH BOOSTER. Go back
and make your way to the adjacent room and up the stairs into a room with a 
broken window. Jump down and turn around once you land and run for the windows.

  7.3. INTERVAL 3 - Escalation

- 7.3.1. INFILTRATION

Make your way through the alley in front of you and down the stairs through a
blue door. Keep going until you pick up a MEDKIT on a shelf, then continue 
through the rooms until you get to a walkway outside. Cross the bridge, then
turn right and jump down to pick up a REFLEX BOOSTER beside some crates. Get 
back up and go into the control room to listen to a phone message, then push
the lever. Go out from the door near the phone and cross the bridge again. Go
down the ladders and make your way through the tunnel area. Pick up the HEALTH
BOOSTER on the barrel in front of you once you reach the end and go up the 
ladder. 

CHECKPOINT

You'll see an unaware Replica going up some stairs behind the door. Shoot him
dead and kill the other 2 that come rushing down. Look into the sewer waters
and jump onto the barrel with the MEDKIT to pick it up, then wade back to the
ladder to get up. Go through the door and turn left to pick up the MEDKIT and
FRAG GRENADE on the table by the water tanks. Head back up the stairs and into
the nearby room for a BODY ARMOR and a RPL SUB-MACHINE GUN. Make your way along
the walkway and into the corridor, then kill the remaining soldier here. Pick
up the G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE on the barrel and head down the steps. Go into the
tunnel behind you to find a REFLEX BOOSTER at the end. Go back up the stairs
and turn left, then shoot off the lock on the door. Climb the ladder behind it
and walk along the pipes to the other side. At the end of the tunnel, shoot the
grating at your feet and drop down. Head forward through a door and you'll hear
some Replicas. Hide behind the door frame and wait until they walk into your
view, then blast all 4 of them away. 

Pick up the MEDKIT in the adjacent room and make your way out of the room and
up the steps. Go around the corner and pick up the 2 RPL SUB-MACHINE GUNS, FRAG
GRENADE and BODY ARMOR lying around the table, then head into the next area. 
Kill the 3 Replicas, then head into the small room in the corner for a MEDKIT.
Go up the ladder and make your way around and through the door at the end.

CHECKPOINT

Head down the hallway and pick up 2 G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLES, MEDKIT and BODY ARMOR
near the table. Access the laptop in the next room and pick up the MEDKIT in
the room after that. Go down the corridor and turn left into a room containing 
a RPL SUB-MACHINE GUN, a FRAG GRENADE and a BODY ARMOR, then come out and take
the right path and go through the double doors. Move behind the dumpster and 6
Replicas will emerge. Stay where you are and shoot them all down. Once they're
dead, do forward and pick up the BODY ARMOR and G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE on the 
nearby crate, then go into the room in the middle to pick up a MEDKIT, a BODY
ARMOR, a G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE and a RPL SUB-MACHINE GUN. 

Ascend the nearby steps and go into the door the soldiers burst out of. 
Navigate through the rooms and jump into the water, then climb up the ladder.
Head along the walkway into the next room and go up the stairs. Make your way
into the tunnel and go down the ladder at the end. Head through the room and 
then jump down the opening in the ground. During the vision, just keep walking
forward and it will soon end.

- 7.3.2. HEAVY RESISTANCE
----

Go through the tunnel next to you and turn right at the fork to pick up a 
MEDKIT. Head forward this time and jump up into the room. Hide behind the 
machine to your right and lean out to headshot the unaware Replica in the room.
Go into said room to find a MEDKIT and a FRAG GRENADE, then go down the 
corridor until you see some water. Head through the door on your right.

CHECKPOINT

Make your way down the steps to pick up a BODY ARMOR and a MEDKIT, then 
continue along the walkway til you get to a large room with 5 Replicas. Kill
them and pick up the 2 MEDKITS here, then go upstairs and into the room to
listen to a phone message and pick up a G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE, a BODY ARMOR, 2
FRAG GRENADES and a MEDKIT on the wall by the door. Head out and go through the
door near the room and pick up the G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE, MEDKIT and BODY ARMOR on
the shelf you pass. 

CHECKPOINT

Go out the door and turn right to see an unaware soldier on a walkway. Headshot
him and then kill the 5 other Replicas in this area. Pick up the MEDKIT lying
on the walkway in front and go along it. Lean around the corner and pick off 
the nearest unaware soldier, then kill the other 4. Go down the stairs and go
down the ladder to the right of the vats to pick up a REFLEX BOOSTER. Head
through the door at the other side.

Turn right when you reach the broken walkway and jump onto the pipes and over
the railing. Go up the stairs and pick up a BODY ARMOR, a G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE, 2
FRAG GRENADES and a MEDKIT around the table. Head right and out onto the 
walkway, then turn the red wheel on the machine on your right. Backtrack to the
broken walkway and jump onto the floating crates to get to the other side. 

CHECKPOINT

There are 4 Replicas in the room around the corner. Lean out and shoot the 
unaware walking one on the walkway above, then kill the rest. Go into the dark
passageway to make your way up to the walkway, then go all the way around and
down the stairs. Peer around the corner to spot 3 Replicas. Headshot the 
unaware one and kill the rest. Pick up the MEDKIT, RPL SUB-MACHINE GUN and 2
PROXY MINES by the lockers, then head through the room. Kill the 2 Replicas on
the other side of the room, then make your way to the next room. Lean out and
kill the Replica up on the walkway, then take the BODY ARMOR, AT-14 PISTOL and
FRAG GRENADE on the bench nearby. 

Now, it is recommended you equip your shotgun if you picked it up, or your 
pistol if you didn't. Head towards the double doors and a Heavy Armor and 2
Replicas will rush out. 4 headshots with the shotgun should kill the Heavy
Armor, while 1 shot at close- to medium-range will take care of the soldiers. 
Head down the corridor until you spot some soldiers. If you're fast, you can
probably nail one of them while they're escaping. Go down the steps in front of
you and pick up the MEDKIT and BODY ARMOR further along. Continue crawling
under the walkway to pick up a HEALTH BOOSTER at the end. Go back above the 
walkway and head around to where the soldiers went. Go up the stairs and kill
the 1 or 2 soldiers in the next area, depending on whether you got one of them
before, then jump into the water and go up the ladder.

CHECKPOINT

Turn the wheel on the walkway and then go through the door to the left. Go left
to pick up a BODY ARMOR and a HV PENETRATOR, then go back to the fork and head
right for a COMBAT SHOTGUN and a MEDKIT. Go back to the water and jump in, then
jump onto the room in the corner. Pick up the MEDKIT on the table and climb the
ladder. Go along the walkway and through the rooms, until you come to a blocked
door. Shoot the grating on the ground in the corner and go inside. Make your 
way through to the ventilation pipe and shoot the grating at the end, and drop
down.

- 7.3.3. BAD WATER
----

Head left and open the door. Go forward and descend the ladder in front of you,
then move along the walkway. Head through the rooms until you come to a large
area with a security camera. Cross the yellow bridge and continue to the next
room. If you want to hear another phone message, head up the stairs to your
right and make your way to the room at the end. Go forward from the base of the
stairs and and you'll reach a room with lots of boilers. To your right is a 
ladder leading down; descend it and go through the tunnel nearby to reach a 
HEALTH BOOSTER. Go back out to the boiler room and head through the nearby 
door. Follow the path until you reach a door that slams in your face and 
refuses to open. Turn around to see Alma; approach her and you'll be thrown 
into a vision. Just continually walk forward until you come back to reality, 
and the stuck door will swing open.

There's a MEDKIT in this room, grab it and then shoot open the grating behind
the rubbish bin. Head through the ventilation shaft here and shoot open the
grating at the other end. Jump down and turn right to go up the stairs. Pick up
the G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE, MEDKIT and BODY ARMOR here, then approach the body
slumped on the chair. 

CHECKPOINT

You'll hear some Replicas telling each other to turn the lights on. Kill the
soldiers that try to sneak into the room near the lit-up room on the walkway
above, then be ready to kill another couple, adding up to 6-7. Once you're 
done, go into the corridor near the crate that had the MEDKIT on top and shoot
the soldier coming towards you from around the corner. After you get to a 
storage room with a MEDKIT, there'll be another 5 soldiers waiting in the next
room, so wait for them to notice you and kill them off as they approach. 

Head past the shaking pipe and go into the pathway to your left. Climb up the
ladder and jump onto the pipes at the end of the walkway and shoot open the
grating. Climb through, ignoring the grating to your left, and you'll come out
to a double-pipe that you can walk on to reach another small opening where a
dead body is draped. Through here is a small area with a HV PENETRATOR and two 
REMOTE BOMBS. Jump up to the pipe next to the bombs and onto the red pipe, then
up to the yellow-lit area and pick up the REFLEX BOOSTER to the left. Here 
you'll hear some Replicas trying to find you. Headshot the first unsuspecting 
soldier, then kill the one that follows him. 

In this room is a BODY ARMOR on one of the crates. If you go into the door on 
the other side of the room (not the one where the 2 soldiers came out of), 
there'll be another 3 soldiers as well as a MEDKIT. Now head into the door 
where the first soldiers came out of and go foward past the corridor on your 
left to emerge in a dead-end walkway with a MEDKIT on the wall. Backtrack to 
the corridor and you'll come to the walkway above the dead guy in the chair, 
where 5 Replicas are waiting. Kill them, then go along to the end of the 
walkway and turn left to enter a crawl space. At the end of the crawl you'll
come out above another walkway. Drop down.

- 7.3.4. EXEUNT OMNES
----

Head along the walkway to a room with a MEDKIT. Go up the ladder in this room
and you'll spot a soldier planting a mine on the ground. In the room at the 
top, search behind the large machines on the left for a REFLEX BOOSTER. Head to
the doorway on the left of the ladder and continue along until you come down 
from a walkway into an area with machines and a closed door in front of you.
Pick up the HV PENETRATOR directly to your right after descending the steps and
move forward.

CHECKPOINT

Go through the door into the corridor beyond and you'll see the proxy mineS on
the ground to your left. There's no way to get directly past them; shooting 
them will result in the nearby machines being damaged and they will send out a
web of high-voltage electricity, which will quickly kill you if you try to go
through it. Head into the room on the right just before the mines, where a 
AT-14 PISTOL and FRAG GRENADE is sitting on the table. Head out to the corridor
and shoot open the grating in front of you as you exit the room. Go through and
descend the ladder, then enter the tunnel to your right. Further down this
tunnel, an Assassin will jump down in front of you and turn invisible. However,
he won't attack, so leave him be. Continue through the tunnels until you emerge
on a walkway. 3 soldiers will come out of the tunnel directly ahead, so look
for their shadows and shoot away. Sometimes one of them will come towards you
from the left, so be prepared.

After that, head left and go up the ladder to the top walkway. Jump onto the
pipes and then onto the box at the end. You'll emerge in a room with lots of 
large cylindrical objects, which was where the Assassin jumped down from. Stick
to the right side and cross the bridge. Head into the room on the other side 
and pick up a HV PENETRATOR, a HEALTH BOOSTER and a MEDKIT. Now go all the way
back to where you fought the 3 Replicas, and go into the tunnel they came out 
of. Go up the ladder near the back of the room and you'll come out to the other
side of the proxy mines. This time, shoot them and then go into the corridor 
and turn left, then switch off the electricity main. This'll get rid of the
electricity and you'll be free to pick up the MEDKIT on the shelf and enter the
door above the steps. In this room, pick up the BODY ARMOR and access the 
laptop. Continue on into the next hallway.

CHECKPOINT

Head down the hallway a bit and turn right. Shoot the lock off the mesh door 
and make your way down the tunnel to a room with an ASP RIFLE and a HEALTH
BOOSTER, as well as 2 REMOTE BOMBS on the table near the dead body. Shoot the 
lock off the door and head out. Go down the stairs nearby and kill the 4 
soldiers through the window across the corridor. If you picked up the ASP, you
can try out its awesome scope here. Go into the room with the soldiers and pick
up the MEDKIT on the table. Head into the corridor nearby. While you're still
in the cover of the dark, break the window and then approach it. Activate 
SlowMo and headshot the Replica on the other side of the area, then find the 
other one and kill him too. 

Head further down this corridor and go down the steps, ignoring the door to 
your left. In the locker area, there's a BODY ARMOR, a FRAG GRENADE and an ASP 
RIFLE. Go out the double doors here to emerge in the area with the two soldiers
you just killed. Turn left and keep going to find a BODY ARMOR and soon you'll
see a large aircraft stopping above the walkway in front. It'll drop off 
another 5 Replicas, so kill them and then go up the walkway and into the door.

You'll hear some more Replicas waiting to ambush you. Quietly walk through the
door and turn left to get a MEDKIT. Now run towards the other side of the room 
and the soldiers will come out. There's a yellow barrel on the yellow walkway
that you can make explode by shooting it. The Replicas almost always come down
that way, so once a few of them are close to it, shoot it and it will cause an
explosion that should kill about 1 or 2 of them. There're 4 altogether, so kill
them off. In the gunfight, try not to stand near a yellow barrel yourself or
the enemy gunfire will probably make it explode and kill you in the process. 

As you go up the yellow walkway, a Heavy Armor and 2 more Replicas will burst
out of the door directly above where you entered the room. Kill the Replicas,
then slow time and headshot the Heavy Armor with your shotgun or HV penetrator
to take it out efficiently. Go up the steps nearby and pick up the MEDKIT, then
go through the door that the enemies burst through. Head into the nearest door
and pick up the BODY ARMOR behind the mesh fence, then go to the right side of
the room to enter another room with a FRAG GRENADE, BODY ARMOR and HV 
PENETRATOR. Return to the corridor and continue forward all the way past the 
broken vending machines.

CHECKPOINT

Keep going until you see the door leading outside. Look through it to see your
target, none other than Fettel himself. However, this door is blocked. Turn 
left and head into a room containing a PROXIMITY MINE and a G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE.
Backtrack into the hallway again and go left to enter a room with a window. 
Break it and then jump out to grab the BODY ARMOR, MEDKIT and G2A2 ASSAULT 
RIFLE. Peek around the corner - this next area contains about 8-10 Replicas and
one Heavy Armor. Your best vantage spot is probably right where you are. Snipe 
as many as you can with the HV penetrator and SlowMo, then wait for them to 
come to you before picking them off. After you think you've killed enough 
Replicas, lean around the corner and snipe the Heavy Armor or run up to it with
your shotgun and blast it a few times in the head. You'll have to kill them all
before Betters will announce the area clear and then you'll finally be picked 
up by helicopter.

  7.4. INTERVAL 4 - Infiltration

- 7.4.1. LZ IS HOT
----

Your new teammates will not prove to be much help as you will be ambushed as
soon as you approach the rooftop. However, you can always swipe their ammo if
you're using the sub-machine gun. Take cover immediately when you jump off the
helicopter. There will be 7 enemies in this area; some will come out of the 
door in front of you, while others will be on the lower level. Toss a grenade 
at the ones coming from the front and then shoot them as they panic. Kill the
ones coming up the left side, then look over the balcony on the right and pick 
off the Replicas coming outside on the lower level. Once they're all dead, go
inside the office and pick up a G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE, BODY ARMOR and MEDKIT. Head
down to the lower level and enter the door on the right side of the building. 
Pick up the BODY ARMOR and MEDKIT on the way.

CHECKPOINT

Further on you'll hear some soldiers saying they lost contact with the roof. 
Go back up the steps and hide behind the wall; eventually one will come out of
the hallway directly in front. Headshot him and then head forward and go 
through the left corridor and you'll most likely see the other guy on the 
walkway in front of you. Kill him and then move along the walkway, picking up
a MEDKIT on the way. Head down the stairs; when you reach the bottom, turn a
tight left to pick up a HEALTH BOOSTER on a barrel. There are another 2 
Replicas in this room, kill them and move on. In the next room there's another
MEDKIT and pair of Replicas, as well as a HV PENETRATOR. Head towards the door.

CHECKPOINT

There's 3 soldiers out here, kill them and then go up the steps. Turn left and
if you're quick enough, you'll see an unaware soldier walking past. Kill him, 
then go to where he was to pick up 3 FRAG GRENADES, a G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE and a
BODY ARMOR. Turn right and go up the stairs to your left. Halfway up, stop and
turn left, and you'll probably see another soldier walking out onto the 
walkway. Kill him and go through the door he's in front of. Continue on into 
the next room until you hear some Replicas getting into their places. Head back
to around the corner and wait until they somehow spot you. Activate SlowMo and
lean out to shoot all 3 of them. When they're dead, go into the room and turn
right to get the MEDKIT, then go forward to the other side of the room. Behind
the machine is a REFLEX BOOSTER. Turn right from here and go up the stairs on
the side, and continue to the next room. Hide behind the machine and headshot
the unaware Replica to your left, then duck into the dark alcove and wait for 
the other guy to come running to you. Once he's dead, head into the room and to
the right side to pick up a COMBAT SHOTGUN, then continue up the stairs through
to the next area where you'll find a MEDKIT, BODY ARMOR, RPL SUB-MACHINE GUN 
and G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE on a table. Head up the nearby stairs.

CHECKPOINT

Pick up the MEDKIT on the wall and turn left into the hallway. There's 5 
Replicas here; watch your back, as there's a set of stairs directly beside 
where you came out and it's likely one of them will come up behind you if given
the chance. After they're dead, go down those stairs and around to the outside.
Break the large window and then jump down.

- 7.4.2. WATCHERS
----

Go into the small room behind you by jumping through the window, then head
through the broken door inside. You'll need your flashlight most of the time
here. Head through the room and down the stairs to reach a theatre area. Go up
past the seats and turn left. Go through the double doors, then go forward and
turn right at the junction. Continue forward and open the door directly in 
front of you to find a MEDKIT inside. Go back out and turn left and eventually
you'll reach a meeting room with a laptop on the table. Access it, then head
through the door on the other side of the room.

Continue through the main hallway here and you'll see an Assassin throw a dead
body through some glass in front of you and run away. If you listened to what
Betters said after you accessed the laptop, he'll mention some sort of special
mutated soldiers as well, which happen to be those guys. At the end of the 
hallway, turn right into a room which contains a MEDKIT, then go into the room
the dead guy burst out of. Pick up the REMOTE BOMB among the seats on the left
side of the room, then go listen to the messages on the phone. Turn left and
walk into the lobby.

CHECKPOINT

Stick along the left wall to enter a corridor which leads to a COMBAT SHOTGUN.
Head back out and go up the stairs. I should probably mention now that there's
3 Assassins in this area. Enter the first room on your left and you'll 
encounter the first one. Use SlowMo and your shotgun to hit him point-blank 
when he comes up to attack you; if you don't kill him, leave the room and he'll
probably come out of the ventilation shaft to attack you again, or he may come 
out of the shaft on the other side of the room. Just listen for the crackling 
static noise that announces his presence. Pick up the MEDKIT in the room he was
in.

The next Assassin is in the next room, while the 3rd is in the room past that 
one. Either enter the rooms and kill them, or lure them out into the balcony
area first. When they're all dead, enter the furthest room from the stairs and
listen to the phone messages. Break one of the windows in front of you and jump
out, then continue forward and up the stairs. Head past the dead body and go
into the room on the right for a MEDKIT, then head out of the room and go left
into a office workplace area. Head through the door in the opposite corner and
jump over the rubble. There's 2 MEDKITS, 2 FRAG GRENADES, a AT-14 PISTOL, a
COMBAT SHOTGUN and a BODY ARMOR here. Jump up onto the round table and then 
onto the vending machine, and crouch to jump into the ventilation shaft.

Follow the shaft until you drop down near a dead body. There's another 2 
Assassins in the rooms nearby; they'll come out once you turn the corner, so
kill them quickly. Enter the room on the left to pick up a MEDKIT, then 
continue down the hallway, accessing the laptop on the couch to your right on
the way. Keep going until the end and enter the room on your left. Approach the
other side of the room and a civilian will reveal himself. Enter the room on 
the left for a MEDKIT, and climb up the cabinets to reach the ventilation 
shaft, where a REFLEX BOOSTER is lying. If you're low on health, head into the
smaller shaft to find a dead body next to a MEDKIT. Head back out and comlink 
with the guy (N. Mapes) and he'll open the door. He wants you to shut down the 
security system, so you'll have to do that before he'll help you. Head past him
and into the next room.

CHECKPOINT

Pick up the MEDKIT here and head forward until you see some couches in front of
you. Turn left and head past them, then go right into a room with a flashing
phone on the table. Listen to the message, then head into the next area to hear
some Replicas getting into position. Move forward a bit and hide behind the
corner pillar. Look down and you should see an unaware soldier prowling around 
on the lower floor. Kill him, then pick off the other 3 Replicas. Jump down and
head towards the door on the other side; there's another 3 soldiers waiting for
you here. Go into the room directly in front of you for a MEDKIT, then enter 
the other room for a BODY ARMOR. Turn on your flashlight and follow the right
wall to reach a door. Open it to emerge in the wondrous armory room you may 
have seen before but couldn't reach. There's 2 MEDKITS, 2 FRAG GRENADES, a BODY
ARMOR, 2 PROXIMITY MINES, a AT-14 PISTOL, a COMBAT SHOTGUN, 2 RPL SUB-MACHINE
GUNS, and 3 G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLES. Activate the little blue screen on the table.

CHECKPOINT

Make your way back to where Mapes was (to get back up on the balcony area, go
around the stairs on the right side). When you get there you'll hear some 
Replicas, but Mapes is nowhere to be seen. There's 3 soldiers in the next room;
you should be able to hide and take out one of them unawares. Once you've 
killed them, move on to the next area, where another 3 Replicas are around the
corner. Head into the server room and pick up the LIGHT ARMOR on a trolley, 
then make your way into the room with all the machines and activate the little
blue panel in the wall. 

There's 4 Replicas in the next room; it's probably easiest just to break a 
window near the door and lean to kill them. Head out and take the left door, 
then navigate your way through the rooms until Betters tells you you're nearly
at the last place where the SFOD-D team was heard from. Grab the MEDKIT in this
room, then head into the next area. Make your way to the other side of the room
where 2 MEDKITS are, then go into the nearby corridor. Continue through this
room until you reach a set of double doors with a fire going on the other side.
Open them, and after the vision ends, go into the door on the left of the room
and up the stairs to find a HEALTH BOOSTER. Go back out and pick up the MEDKIT
on the table to your left, then head through the doorway on the other side of
the room. Keep going until you exit the construction area and emerge in a large
hall with some bloody bodies that look suspiciously like Alma's work. After Jin
comes in to examine the mess, head through the door on the other side of the 
room and jump down from the balcony at the end of the path.

  7.5. INTERVAL 5 - Extraction

- 7.5.1. BISHOP
----

Head around the corner and pick up the BODY ARMOR on the table. Go behind the
desk and turn right at the logo on the wall to enter a small corridor that 
leads to a room with a MEDKIT. You can either go up into the ventilation shaft
here and drop into a room unnoticed or you can go back out to the desk and turn
left, passing an area on your right with another MEDKIT, then go down the short
hallway until you reach the large cubicle area. Either way, there's a phone
message in one of the office rooms, and a COMBAT SHOTGUN in the other. There's
also 4 Replicas here, a few of them being on the higher floor. Pick up the 
MEDKIT, BODY ARMOR and G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE lying on a small table attached to 
the wall, then turn left and go into the next room to find a AT-14 PISTOL, a 
FRAG GRENADE and a G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE.

There are another 2 soldiers in the next room, as well as a RPL SUB-MACHINE GUN
on one of the cubicle tables in the middle of the room. There's another one in
the adjacent room. Head down the nearby corridor, and listen to the phone 
message in the first room on your left, then continue forward.

CHECKPOINT

The next room contains a COMBAT SHOTGUN on the table. Go back into the corridor
and turn the corner. As you approach the next corner, you'll hear some Replicas
talking about you being after the hostage. Charge in, turn on SlowMo once the 4
soldiers in the glass room on the other side of the area spot you, then go 
right up to them and use the shotgun to pick them all off. After that, take the
FRAG GRENADE, REMOTE BOMB, 2 BODY ARMORS and 2 G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLES in this 
room. Open the door here and you'll find the hostage, except he's covered with
bombs. Take the MEDKIT on the wall here and then approach the guy (A. Bishop) 
to set up a comlink.

Your next mission is to meet up with the demolition experts. Head out of this
room and straight forward into the corridor, then continue until you see a 
room on your right with a MEDKIT on a shelf. Pick it up and go through the 
corridor again.

CHECKPOINT

Turn right at the junction and you'll soon pass a large room on your left with
another MEDKIT on the table. When you reach the area with the elevators, head 
to the desk on the other side for yet another MEDKIT and 2 REMOTE BOMBS. 
Approach the nearest elevators and middle one will open and a soldier will come
out. Kill him, then kill the other 2 soldiers that emerge from the left 
elevator. The one on the right holds another 2. Once they're dead, the left 
elevator on the adjacent wall will open to let out a Replica and a Heavy Armor,
and the final Replica will emerge from the right-most elevator. Once they're 
all dead, approach the middle elevator with the blue panel and the bomb 
specialists will come out. Lead them to where Bishop is, and a weird fire alarm
will start. Of course, it's your job to investigate the cause and get the 
elevators back online. Go into the room the other guy is in front of.

CHECKPOINT

Go forth and pick up the MEDKIT on the desk, then go into the corridor to the
right and search the last 2 rooms for a MEDKIT, and a COMBAT SHOTGUN and BODY
ARMOR as well as a HEALTH BOOSTER. Go back to the desk and head up the stairs. 
Eventually you'll pass a room on your right containing a MEDKIT, and just 
outside it is a G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE. The next room contains a phone message. 
Continue forward until you see an elevator with blood seeping out of it. Turn 
left and open the door to enter the control room, which contains a phone 
message, a MEDKIT and a RPL SUB-MACHINE GUN. Activate the blue screen and then 
make your way outside. Enter the open elevator and use the controls to go up.

The elevator will have some trouble and will stop at a construction area. Take
the MEDKIT in front of you and then jump onto the barrel to the left of the
elevator and jump up onto the poles on the top of the room. Shoot open the 
grating and climb into the ventilation shaft. Shoot open the next grating to 
your left and jump down. Take the MEDKIT on the wall and open the door. Access
the laptop in front of you, then head down the hallway.

CHECKPOINT

Head into the room with some windows taken out and climb out along the outside
of the building into the room on the left. Go in through the missing window and
pick up the MEDKIT if you want. Continue into the construction area, where 5
Replicas are skulking around. Once you kill them, pick up the G2A2 ASSAULT 
RIFLE and the BODY ARMOR, 2 FRAG GRENADES, AT-14 PISTOL and another G2A2 
ASSAULT RIFLE in the next room. Head to the next area to pick up a BODY ARMOR,
HV PENETRATOR and RPL SUB-MACHINE GUN, then move on. There's 3 Replicas in the
next room, as well as another 3 further on. Pick up the 2 MEDKITS lying on the
yellow bins and head forward along the balcony. At the end you'll find a pile 
of boards with 2 G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLES, a RPL SUB-MACHINE GUN, a AT-14 PISTOL, 2
FRAG GRENADES and a BODY ARMOR lying on top. 

Jump down onto the wooden board and down to the ground. Pick up the MEDKIT, 
then head around to the next room where 3 Replicas are. Kill them and pick up 
the BODY ARMOR and 2 G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLES in the middle of the room. Continue on
to the next room, where you will be attacked by 6 soldiers, 1 of them coming 
from the room behind you. Once they're dead, go to the left side of the room to
pick up a BODY ARMOR, a COMBAT SHOTGUN and a G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE. Continue up
the stairs and along to the balcony area and open the double doors. Pick up the
2 PROXIMITY MINES and RPL SUB-MACHINE GUNS and continue on. Head around the 
boarded balcony to find a REFLEX BOOSTER. Backtrack to the room with the 
soldiers and head left to the corridor in the corner of the room. Head past the
vending machine and up the stairs. Pick up the MEDKIT on the way, and 
eventually you'll reach a tall board that you can't jump over. Go to its left 
and jump on the box, and then jump over.

- 7.5.2. BLINDSIDE
----

Look out the window in the next room to see a bunch of Replicas. There are 5 in
total, take them all out whilst taking advantage of the abundance of cover. 
Make your way past the machines and you'll encounter another 4 enemies in the
lower area. Kill them, then go up the steps and into the door. Another 5 
soldiers await you here; if you duck away you should be able to snipe the first
one before they notice you. Head forward around the machines to find a BODY
ARMOR, then enter the door leading from this room to pick up a MEDKIT, 2 FRAG
GRENADES, a AT-14 PISTOL, a G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE, a COMBAT SHOTGUN and a BODY
ARMOR. 

Descend the nearby stairs and make your way to the next room. Along the way is
a MEDKIT. Ignore the path to your left as that leads back to the previous room.
Head forward to pick up 2 RPL SUB-MACHINE GUNS, 2 G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLES, a BODY
ARMOR and a MEDKIT. Continue forward and jump over the railing to pick up 
another 2 MEDKITS on a nearby table. Make your way to the other side of the 
room.

CHECKPOINT

Pick up the ASP RIFLE near the elevator and head out. Your team members will
attempt to land, but will be fird at by apparently friendly ATC forces. You'll
now have to eliminate this new threat. Kill the 2 guards outside, then head out
to where they were and kill the other 2 on the higher area in front of you. 
There are a total of 10 guards here, so once you count 10 bodies, head to the
right of the building to enter a side door and pick up the G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE
lying here. Jump over the railings on the walkway to find a BODY ARMOR and 2
FRAG GRENADES, then move on to encounter another 3 guards. There's a RPL 
SUB-MACHINE GUN lying around too, as well as another BODY ARMOR. Go past the
stairs and towards the door; opposite the door is a MEDKIT. 

Go up the stairs, picking up the AT-14 PISTOL halfway up if you want. At the 
top, pick up the BODY ARMOR and the MEDKIT on the wall. Head out the door and
turn a tight left to go behind the area you came out of. Keep to the left wall
and you'll see 2 guards coming out of a door on a lower level. You should be
able to snipe them both with ease. Jump down to where they were and go through
the door. Pick up the MEDKIT, then continue forward a bit to pick up another on
a shelf on the left. There are 2 guards to your right, past the railings. If 
you didn't expose yourself too much you may be able to snipe them, but in any
case as long as you lean and use a steady gun you should be able to kill them
quite easily without taking damage. 

Jump down and you'll end up falling right into the sewers. Climb out of the
water and make your way around to the locked door where the shimmering air is. 
Shoot the lock and you'll be blown all the way back into the water. Climb up
again and go back to the door and enter the alcove on the left to pick up a
REFLEX BOOSTER. Go back towards the water and run up the broken walkway and 
make your way to the next room. Turn right and head forward.

CHECKPOINT

Head forward to the pipes. Turn left when you reach them and crawl through the 
space. Turn left again when you get out to reach another MEDKIT near a wire 
fence, then go onto the walkway nearby. The middle will be destroyed once you 
get on it; when this happens, go under the walkway and crawl along the pipes to
a new area. Go up the ladder and continue left until you get to the other side
of the broken walkway. Again, jump off the walkway and crawl through the space
underneath to emerge in another room. Pick up the MEDKIT on the table, then go
up the steps and turn right and go up the ladder. Shoot the grating when you
reach it and go into the ventilation shaft. At the fork, turn right to pick up
a HEALTH BOOSTER. Drop down the gap and go up the steps again, this time 
turning the wheel to stop the flames. Make your way to the ladder at the end of
the walkway that used to be covered with flames, and go up. Make your way into
the next room.

CHECKPOINT

Turn right and use either path to get to the next room. Go up to the walkway to
the right and turn the wheel. The water will rise, so go down the ladder and
swim through the nearby tunnel until you reach another ladder. Climb up, and 
then go up the ramp and activate the mechanism near the glowing red box, which
will then turn green. Climb up the nearby ladder and make your way across the
walkway to the corridor.

CHECKPOINT

You'll be back above the room with the wheel. Jump down and turn right into the
room with the previously offline elevator, out of which 2 Replicas and a Heavy
Armor will now burst. Once they're dead, go into the elevator and activate the
control board.

  7.6. INTERVAL 6 - Interception

- 7.6.1. SAYONARA, SUCKER
----

You will be greeted by 4 Replicas as soon as you get off the elevator, so blast
them away and head to the right of the walkway to pick up a BODY ARMOR, HV
PENETRATOR and G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE. Go up the steps and into the room to find 2
MEDKITS, a G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE, a BODY ARMOR, 2 FRAG GRENADES and a COMBAT
SHOTGUN. Continue on til you reach an office area; search the middle desk for a
PROXY MINE. The desk at the end of the room has a MEDKIT on top. Go down the
corridor nearby and up the stairs. In the next room you'll meet up with Mapes
again. Go through the glass doors on the other side of the room.

CHECKPOINT

There's another PROXY MINE in the room to your right. Head into the door on the
opposite side of the corridoe and into the lab to find a HEALTH BOOSTER, a
MEDKIT and a phone message. Go back out and turn left to follow the corridor 
into a room with 2 REMOTE BOMBS on the table in the corner. Head out the other
door and the next room to your left has 8 Replicas waiting inside. There's also
3 MEDKITS. Once you've killed them all, go into the room to the right of the
billboard and move behind the medicine cabinet table for a MEDKIT. Head into 
the corridor nearby and navigate your way through until you reach a automatic
sliding door. There're 2 soldiers in the next room who will be coming up the
stairs on the left, so kill them and then pick up 2 FRAG GRENADES, a COMBAT
SHOTGUN, an AT-14 PISTOL, a G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE, a HV PENETRATOR, 2 BODY ARMORS
and a MEDKIT. From where you found the rifle and HV, go behind the wire fence
to pick up a MOD-3 MULTI-ROCKET LAUNCHER. 

Go down the steps and through the tunnel area until you spot 2 enemies in the 
room in front of you. Try out your new weapon and kill them, then pick up the 
G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE, BODY ARMOR and 2 MEDKITS here before accessing the laptop 
on the corner table. Exit this room via the sliding door and to your right will
be another 3 Replicas. You'll probably need a long-range weapon for this. Once
they're dead, jump down and head right until you reach a room with a MEDKIT, a
BODY ARMOR, a RPL SUB-MACHINE GUN and a phone message. Activate the blue panel
here.

CHECKPOINT

Head through the now-open door opposite you and go forward past the stairs. 
Make your way all the way back through the office area and turn right through
the newly activated doors into a room with a REFLEX BOOSTER which you've most
likely noticed before. Go back to the stairs you passed and climb them to see
Mapes going into the elevator. Go into the door to the left of the elevator and
make your way to the ladder. Climb up and at the top, turn right to go up 
another ladder. Here turn left and make your way to the grating, then shoot it
off and go inside.

- 7.6.2. UNAUTHORIZED PERSONNEL
----

Navigate through the ventilation shaft - you may notice a round barrel that 
says 'turret housing' on it on your way. Go down the ladder you eventually 
reach. Head through the corridors and you'll spot Mapes at a computer in a room
in front of you. Approach him and he'll set off a turret from the ceiling. To 
minimize the damage taken, equip your strongest weapon and shoot the turret as 
soon as you determine its location (in front of the blocked door to the right 
of the window, on the ceiling). After a few hits it'll break off. Make your way
back into the ventilation shaft and go to the place where the turret housing 
was. Now that the turret's gone, you can proceed past it and shoot open the 
grating to jump down.

CHECKPOINT

Turn left to enter the room Mapes was in. Pick up the MEDKIT, then head back 
out into the corridor and continue forward. Head down the stairs and you'll
encounter another turret directly in front of you. Here you can either run up
and shoot it, or you can quickly move forward to the wire fence, shoot off the
lock, go inside and turn off the power. Either way, pick up the MEDKIT beyond 
the wire fence and head into the room at the end of the corridor. Access the
laptop and go into the adjacent room for a MEDKIT on the dark desk. Head 
through the open door and make your way into the room at end. Approach the 
window to the right of the sliding door and you'll see another turret descend
from the ceiling. When it's turning away, run out the sliding door and gun it
down. Take the steps behind the rails and crawl through the open shaft until 
you emerge in a lit room. Take the MEDKIT to your right, then hide as the next
turret comes down. Once it's peacefully turning, again wait until it's turned
away before rushing up to it and destroying it, or you can lean and snipe it
from behind cover. 

You'll see Mapes again in the window in front of you, and again he'll run away.
Go down the corridor to the left of the window and take the door at the end to
find a BODY ARMOR and a MEDKIT. Go out and head through the door on the other
side of the corridor and turn left as soon as you get in to emerge in a room
with a MEDKIT. Go back out to the main room and into the adjacent room, where
Mapes was. Beyond the sliding door is another turret further down the hallway 
to your left. Run towards the wire fence and hide behind the large boxes until
the turret stops attacking, then snipe it. Head forward and turn right and 
you'll see Mapes trying to squeeze himself into a ventilation shaft. Approach
the door to the left, which is jammed, and he'll somehow succeed. Head past the
window.

CHECKPOINT

Continue forward and look around the corner to the left. There's another turret
waiting further ahead, so quickly dash for the sliding door on the other side
and go inside. Listen to the phone message, then shoot the grating at the back
of the room and climb into the shaft. Turn left when you reach the junction and
shoot off the grating. You're past the turret now, but you still have to 
destroy it. Fortunately you can lean out from the opening to shoot it and 
retreat to the safety of the ventilation shaft when it returns fire. You can 
also shoot the oil barrel in the corner to distract the turret for a moment. 
Once it's gone, jump down and go up the stairs, then look left once you're at 
the top. The turret you may have noticed before down the hallway has now 
activated. Destroy it if you want and then move on past the machines and 
through the sliding door. Go down the stairs and pick up the MEDKIT, then head
through the tunnel. Turn right to find another MEDKIT and then go back to the
junction and head forward. Climb up the ladder at the end and go out the 
sliding door. 

CHECKPOINT

Head down the corridor and 2 Replicas will burst down from the ceiling. Kill
them, as well as the other 2 that will rush up from the ramp on the other side
of the room. Go through the sliding door opposite the corridor you came out of
and pick up the MEDKIT, then go down the steps into the next room to pick up
another MEDKIT and a REFLEX BOOSTER. Jump out the window and head left.

CHECKPOINT

Head forward and you'll encounter another 4 Replicas. Kill them and go through
the sliding door behind the desk. Pick up the BODY ARMOR in this room and
activate the blue panel. A Power Armor will descend from the elevator in front 
of you, so kill him and then move on to the next room for a MEDKIT, a BODY 
ARMOR, a G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE, a COMBAT SHOTGUN and a FRAG GRENADE. Go out the 
door and pick up the MOD-3 MULTI-ROCKET LAUNCHER and go through the door 
opposite the one you came out of to pick up another MEDKIT on a desk to your 
left. Go back into the corridor and head down into the elevator room. Pick up 
the 2 FRAG GRENADES on the crate on the right and pick up the RPL SUB-MACHINE 
GUN, a G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE and BODY ARMOR on the crate next to the elevator.
Activate the blue panel and the elevator will rise.

Go through the corridor behind you and go into the room to your left to pick up
a G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE, a COMBAT SHOTGUN and BODY ARMOR. Head out and left into a
large storage room, and go up the ladder to the walkway. Go into the room at 
the end and crawl through the tunnel. Drop down into the hallway and turn right
behind the wire fence to climb the ladder. Blast open the grating nearby and 
make your way to the dead body, where a TYPE-7 PARTICLE WEAPON lies. Go back to
the ladder and head forward to another ladder. Go up and shoot the grating 
below your feet, and jump down.

Go up the stairs and listen to the phone messages, and pick up the MEDKIT and
HEALTH BOOSTER. Head down again and activate the blue panel here and go through
the sliding door and down the steps. Pick up the BODY ARMOR, MEDKIT, COMBAT 
SHOTGUN, AT-14 PISTOL and RPL SUB-MACHINE GUN, and access the laptop before 
going through the other sliding door. Make your way through the large balcony
room and into the corridor.

CHECKPOINT

Head into the door and pick up 2 PROXY MINES and a HV PENETRATOR. Activate the
blue panel and have fun with the turret as you mow down the 10 or so Replicas 
in the room. You can basically just hold down the fire button and spray away,
as ammo isn't an issue. Once they're all dead or the turret's destroyed, jump
out the window of this room and make your way down the corridor to where the
soldiers were. 3 Replicas will come into this room while another 2 will be in
the next one, so take them out. Go through the corridor and you'll encounter 3
more soldiers up on the balcony in the next area. Kill them and then turn left
and go up the stairs. Make your way around the balcony and into the room, and
kill the 2 Replicas that come out. Take the BODY ARMOR on a table and continue
on. Go into the sliding door on your right to pick up a MEDKIT. Head forward a
bit more and jump down the balcony.

- 7.6.3. AFTERIMAGE
----

Head forward and turn right. Go down the hallway and check the 2nd room on your
left to find a HEALTH BOOSTER. The next room contains a phone message and a
MEDKIT. Go through the sliding door at the end of the hallway to pick up 
another MEDKIT, then head to the adjacent room. Go up the steps and through the
sliding door, and make your way through the room to pick up the REFLEX BOOSTER
on the table near the window. Go up the steps nearby and into the hallway. Make
your way through until you're thrown into a vision. Keep walking forward until
it ends. Head through the door and navigate through to the next corridor, where
you'll encounter 3 ATC guards. Hide behind the door and headshot the unaware 
one, then snipe the others. Pick up the MEDKIT in the area near them and 
continue forward through the corridor.

In the next room there's 3 more guards. Take them out and go down to the office
area to pick up a FRAG GRENADE and a PROXY MINE, then head into the nearby room
to access the laptop and pick up a G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE, a COMBAT SHOTGUN and a
BODY ARMOR. Go back out and around the corner to spot some guards fighting
against Replicas. Enter the door to the left to pick up 2 COMBAT SHOTGUNS, 2
RPL-SUBMACHINE GUNS, 2 G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLES, a AT-14 PISTOL, a BODY ARMOR and a
MEDKIT. Wait for the Replicas to kill the guards or until the gunfire stops,
then go out and mop up the rest of them as well as the Heavy Armor in the 
elevator. Pick up the BODY ARMOR on the couch, then head through the corridor
on the right.

CHECKPOINT

Head down the stairs and you'll spot 2 Replicas down the hallway. Lean out and
snipe them, then kill the 2 other soldiers out the window on the balcony. Go
down the corridor and enter the room on your right for a MEDKIT, and the left 
to listen to a phone message and pick up a HV PENETRATOR, 2 REMOTE BOMBS and a 
FRAG GRENADE. The next room on the right has an AT-14 PISTOL, while the 
following room contains a MEDKIT and 2 G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLES. There are another 2
Replicas just past here, kill them and continue on to find another 2 Replicas
and a Heavy Armor. Kill them and pick up the BODY ARMOR and ASP RIFLE, then 
head out the double doors. Another soldier is down in the courtyard below; you 
can get him unawares by hiding behind the left of the double doors and shooting
a HV penetrator shot into his head. Pick up the BODY ARMOR here and jump onto 
the roof and down. The aircraft passing overhead will drop a Power Armor down, 
kill it and then head forward into the next area and kill the 4 Replicas.

Go into the door on your left to find a TYPE-7 PARTICLE WEAPON, then head down
the hallway into the meeting room to find 2 FRAG GRENADES, 2 MEDKITS and a BODY
ARMOR. Go back into the courtyard and into the door on the other side into a 
cafeteria. Kill the 3 Replicas here, then head into the small room at the back
for a BODY ARMOR and a MEDKIT. Go into the door and turn on the power supply. 
Lean out at the corner and headshot the 2 unaware soldiers. Go through the 
door and continue through to a hallway. Turn left and go into the room for a
BODY ARMOR and 2 G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLES, then break a window and jump out into the
courtyard.

- 7.7.1. ALICE WADE

Shoot open one of the windows nearby and get into the office. Access the laptop
and then head out through the other door. Enter the room you come across for 2
PROXY MINES and a MEDKIT, then continue along the hallway until you reach an
elevator area. Go into the one that opens and activate the controls. Once you
reach the top, go into the room directly in front of you to listen to a phone
message. Come back out and go past the elevators to the cafeteria, and access
the laptop. Head through the area and make your way to a series of offices. The
2nd one appears to be Alice Wade's; listen to the phone message and then make
your way back to the elevator. Jump on top of it and then turn right and jump
over the railings. Pick up the MEDKIT and climb up the ladder.

At the top, jump over the railings and make your way to the other side. Climb
the ladder here and again go past the railings to the other side. Climb the 3rd
ladder here to find a BODY ARMOR and 3 REMOTE BOMBS, then head back down and go
through the door. Pick up the MEDKIT, then go to the next area and move 
forward.

CHECKPOINT

Make your way down the corridor and turn right to enter a room with a phone
message. Return to the corridor and turn right again when you reach a cubicle 
to go behind it and pick up a MEDKIT. Continue forward and you'll reach a large
room with 4 Replicas. It's probably easiest just to charge in with a shotgun 
and turn on SlowMo and blast them while they're bunched together, otherwise if
they don't spot you they'll tend to go upstairs, which is more annoying. When
they're dead, go upstairs and kill the other 2, then make your way into the
corridor and kill the 4 Replicas you encounter. Go into the first room on your
right to listen to a phone message, then head out the other end of the room and
turn right to enter a door. Pick up the MEDKIT and COMBAT SHOTGUN here, then
go back into the corridor and follow it to a room with a MEDKIT on the counter.

Turn left and go out to the corridor and head forward. Enter the office room on
your right for a RPL SUB-MACHINE GUN, 2 FRAG GRENADES and a BODY ARMOR. Make 
your way back to the corridor and head past the couches. As you move past the
vending machines, an alarm will sound and 2 soldiers will rush at you from
around the corner. Kill them and head down the corridor until you reach some
windows. Break the nearest one and jump into the room, picking up the MEDKIT on
the table. Further along is a laptop on a table, and to its left is a room with
another MEDKIT and a COMBAT SHOTGUN. Make your way through the main room and 
down the corridor until you hear Replicas. Turn on SlowMo and head around the
corner to kill the 3 of them, then turn left into the room and turn left again
into a small room with a BODY ARMOR and a blue panel. Activate it and then head
out into the main room, and continue to another room with a BODY ARMOR, a 
COMBAT SHOTGUN, 2 RPL SUB-MACHINE GUNS, 3 G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLES and a MEDKIT. 
Activate the blue panel nearby and have some more fun with the turret as you 
gun down the 10 or so Replicas in this room. Make your way out of this room and
back into the corridor.

CHECKPOINT

Backtrack to where you sounded the alarm and got ambushed by the pair of 
Replicas. Head through the now-open door and make for the desk on the other 
side of the room. Go into the door on its left and make your way upstairs to 
find a room with a BODY ARMOR and a COMBAT SHOTGUN. Head back to the main foyer
area and go into the door on the opposite side of the room. Around the 2nd
corner is a HEAVY ARMOR with 4 Replicas. Once they're dead, head into the first
room on your right for a MEDKIT, and enter the room where the soldiers were to
find another MEDKIT on the table. Continue down the hallway and you'll come to
a glass door. Lean and you'll spot a Replica up on the balcony. Snipe him and
then kill the 3 others that rush in. Go to the other corner of the room and 
kill the next 3 soldiers in the room above the stairs, then turn back and pick
up the MEDKIT in the room behind you. Turn right just before the stairs to 
enter a room with a REFLEX BOOSTER.

Go up the steps now and around to the couches above to find 2 BODY ARMORS. 
Beside the stairs is a room with a MEDKIT, pick it up and then take the path to
its left to go out onto the balcony. Make your way around and kill the 3 
Replicas, then continue around to the room on your right which contains a BODY
ARMOR. Further down the hallway is another 5 Replicas along with a HEAVY ARMOR.
Once they're dead, pick up the BODY ARMOR on the counter, then go into the room
to its right to find 2 FRAG GRENADES and a MEDKIT. Enter the room opposite the
counter for a HEALTH BOOSTER and another MEDKIT. Finally, the remaining room 
contains a MEDKIT, a G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE, a RPL SUB-MACHINE GUN and a FRAG
GRENADE. 

Head down this room and turn right into the corridor and you'll face another
Heavy Armor and 2 Replicas. Kill them and pick up the MEDKIT behind the wall,
then enter the double doors. Listen to the phone messages and access the laptop
before giving Alice Wade the comlink. 

CHECKPOINT

Backtrack your way past the blocked door.

CHECKPOINT

Make your way to the balcony area, where you'll hear some Replicas. Lean out at
the corner just before reaching the balcony and wait til the first one comes
out. Headshot him and then kill the 2 that follow. Continue to backtrack until
you reach an elevator. Alice will automatically go in herself, so just follow
her. You'll be stopped during the ride by 2 Replicas, kill them and then head
out of the elevator. Go behind the wall behind the desk to find a MEDKIT, 2 
FRAG GRENADES and a COMBAT SHOTGUN. Return to the elevator and you'll be
stopped again by 3 more guards. Leave the elevator again and pick up the 2 
MEDKITS on the right side of the room. Go back. You'll be stopped a third time
by 3 more Replicas, but there's nothing in this room so don't bother heading
out. 

Eventually the power will go out and the elevator will open. Head out and make
your way into the nearby room. Pick up the MEDKIT and activate the blue panel.
Go through the opened gate and pick up the MEDKIT on the couches. Enter the 
door to the right and go up the stairs. Open the door at the end and lean and
headshot the unaware Replica, then kill the other 2. Pick up the medkit on the
trolley and go up the stairs. Kill the 2 soldiers when you reach the top, then
continue forward and go through the open door. Ascend the steps and jump onto
the wooden boxes, then shoot off the grating and climb into the ventilation
shaft.

- 7.7.2. FLIGHT
----

Shoot the grating in front of you and climb out. If you have the Type-7, you
can easily zoom in and blast the 4 Replicas through the window as they're 
getting off their aircraft. In any case, the double doors in this room will be
blasted open, so head out.

CHECKPOINT

Kill the enemies if you haven't already, then jump down to the lower level and
make your way past the machines until you get upstairs. Enter the double doors
here.

CHECKPOINT

Lean around the corner and headshot the unaware Replica, then kill the other 
one that rushes out. Move forward and 2 more soldiers will come out of the 
elevator on the lower floor, making for easy headshots. Go along the balcony 
and down the stairs, and the other elevator will open, revealing another 2
Replicas. Kill them and pick up the HV PENETRATOR and PROXY MINE on the table,
then go through the door nearby.

Head along and pick up the MEDKIT on the wall in the next area. Take the AT-14
PISTOL sitting on a box if you want, then make your way down the stairs. Get
the MEDKIT on the shelf and open the door. Go through the office and turn right
towards the sparking control panel, and pick up the HEALTH BOOSTER on the 
couch. Head into the room behind you to listen to the phone messages, then make
your way down the corridor and stairs and eventually into the large foyer area.
Access the laptop on the table, then head into the nearby corridor.

CHECKPOINT

The room to your left contains 2 RPL SUB-MACHINE GUNS. Go up the stairs and 
kill the 2 Flying Drones, then continue down the hallway to kill another one. 
Head towards the room on the other side of this area and a 4th one will pop 
out. Pick up the MEDKIT in the next room and climb out the window. Shimmy 
around the corner and 2 more Drones will appear. Kill them and jump down, then
make your way to the door. Take the MEDKIT on the wall and climb the ladder. 
Go through the door and climb onto the machinery to get up onto the balcony. 
Enter the door and make your way around to the large room at the end. Kill the
Drone that appears, then continue on until you hear some Replicas. Lean around
the corner and headshot the unaware one, then kill the other 2. Go upstairs and
2 Drones will appear. Kill them and continue upstairs, then open the door on 
your left. Head through the room, picking up the MEDKIT, and go into the next
door.

CHECKPOINT

Move forward a bit until you hear Replicas. Hide behind the pillar and wait 
until the 3 of them run up the stairs, then use SlowMo and gun them all down.
Descend the stairs all the way down and pick up the REFLEX BOOSTER at the 
bottom. Go up one floor to the 5th and go through the open door. Listen to the
phone message in the room nearby, then head back to the corridor and go left.
When you get to the carpeted area you will be ambushed by 4 Replicas. Kill them
and then head into the office they came out of for a G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE, a
COMBAT SHOTGUN, 2 FRAG GRENADES and a BODY ARMOR.

Head into the next area and kill the 4 Replicas. Go to where the elevators are
and turn right to pick up a HV PENETRATOR and a BODY ARMOR. Enter the room 
nearby and pick up the BODY ARMOR, then access the laptop. Head into the small
room to the left and pick up the MEDKIT, then turn on the power. Backtrack to
the elevators and activate the one on the right. Use the controls and head out
once the elevator stops.

CHECKPOINT

Go into the carpark and up the ramp. Kill the 4 Replicas that emerge and then
pick up the 2 MEDKITS on the cargo. Continue forward and up the next ramp, and
kill the 5 Replicas. Pick up the BODY ARMOR on the ATC car. The next level has 
4 Replicas and a Heavy Armor. Go into the door here and up the stairs, then 
open the door at the top.

- 7.8.1. URBAN DECAY

Head into the nearby corridor.

CHECKPOINT

Go up the stairs and make your way through the rooms until you come to one with
a planked-up opening in the wall to the left. Head into the room ahead for a
AT-14 PISTOL, then smack the planks away and go through the corridor.

CHECKPOINT

Go up the stairs, where 3 Replicas and a Heavy Armor are. Wait around the 
corner until one of the soldiers appears, then headshot him. Kill the rest and
go into the room on the left for a MEDKIT and a PROXY MINE. Go into the room on
the right for a FRAG GRENADE and another PROXY MINE. Go into the room on the 
other side of the hallway and go through the gap in the wall to find a BODY 
ARMOR and HV PENETRATOR on a couch. Head out into the corridor again and go 
down, and take the next door on your right to find a AT-14 PISTOL. There's 2
Replicas in the hallway ahead, kill them and then jump down into the hole. 

Pick up the MEDKIT, RPL SUBMACHINE GUN and G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE in the room to 
your left, and the MEDKIT and 2 REMOTE BOMBS to your right. Head forward and 
smash the planks on your right to get to an outside area. Turn left and kill 
the 3 Replicas to your right, then pick up the BODY ARMOR and MEDKIT in the
next room. Backtrack to where you first saw the soldiers and go through the 
door to your left. Go up the debris ramp nearby and turn right into the room to
find a MEDKIT, a REFLEX BOOSTER, a HV PENETRATOR and a BODY ARMOR. Go down the
ramp again and make your way through the rooms ahead until you come to a room
that shakes slightly as you go in. Move forward and a Power Armor will drop 
down in front of you. Kill it and then knock away the bottom planks on the door
and crouch down to get through. Head down the corridor.

CHECKPOINT

Take the BODY ARMOR and TYPE-7 PARTICLE WEAPON in the next room, then lean out 
the doorway of the adjacent room and take out the 2 unaware soldiers. Head 
outside and look through the window to your right to spot 3 Replicas. Use your
long-range weapon to pick them off, then jump across the gap and head to the
next room. Look out the nearest window and pick off the 2 Replicas on the roof
and the one in the building across the area. Pick up the MEDKIT and TYPE-7
PARTICLE WEAPON here and head outside, and kill the 5 Replicas in the same
building. Once they're dead turn right, picking up the MP-50 REPEATING CANNON,
and drop down and move past the large machine. Wait here and 4 Replicas will 
emerge from a door on the other side of the area. Kill them with your shiny new
cannon and then go through the door they came from. 

Turn right and pick up the BODY ARMOR on the bench, as well as all the Type-7s
that the Replicas dropped. Head into the corridor and headshot the unaware 
guard in the nearby room, then kill his 2 companions. Go into the room and take
the MEDKIT on the counter to your right, then head into the 2 rooms on your 
left for a HEALTH BOOSTER an another MEDKIT. Use the windows in the room on the
right to kill the 2 Replicas in the other building, then knock the boards down
to get into the next room. Turn a tight right as you come out to go into a room
with a BODY ARMOR. Jump down into the hole.

One of the small rooms by the debris contains a MEDKIT. Go out the lit door and
make your way down the hallway. Open the door and navigate through the rooms
until you trigger a vision. Keep walking forward until the double doors at the
end open, then quickly shoot the Nightmares that come out of the flames or they
will damage you. After the last one, the vision will end. Make your way through
the corridor and into a room with windows. Crouch and go through the nearest
one on your left.

- 7.8.2. POINT OF ENTRY
----

Head through the alleyway until you pass a rusted car, then lean around the 
corner and snipe the unaware soldier further down. Run to where he is and a 
truck will stop and release 4 Replicas. Kill them, then enter the back of the
truck for a MEDKIT and a BODY ARMOR. Turn to your right and smash the window
next to the blocked door, then go inside. 

CHECKPOINT

Pick up the 2 MEDKITS here and go through the double doors. Kill the 3 Replicas
that come off the truck and kill the other 3 further down the alleyway, as well
as the Heavy Armor. Go into the back of the truck for 2 BODY ARMORS, then head
into the room on the left of this area for 2 MEDKITS. Go through the small
corridor at the back of this room and outside, and pick up the BODY ARMOR and 2
G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLES lying nearby. Head forward and take the COMBAT SHOTGUN, 
BODY ARMOR and 2 FRAG GRENADES on the porch, then go into the truck for 2 
MEDKITS and a BODY ARMOR. Jump onto the barrels nearby.

CHECKPOINT

Jump onto the box and over the fence. Quickly run forward and go through the 
door to your right, then go up the stairs. Hide behind the pillar before the
walkway and kill the 4 Replicas that emerge on the other side of the room. Head
to where they were and take the MEDKIT on the wall. Approach the door to the 
alley and 4 more Replicas will jump out to the left. Kill them and go down the
narrow alley to your right, then jump down the hole in the fence at the end.
Make your way to a construction area, then jump onto the scaffolding to the 
right and break the window to jump into the room. Pick up the MEDKIT and head
up the stairs and outside. 

CHECKPOINT

Jump down the ledge on your right and another truck will drive crazily towards
you. Back away around the corner and let it drive past you, then go down the
alley. Make your way into the open door on the elevated porch and enter the
room in front of you for a MEDKIT. Go down the corridor and through the room
with the machines and go down into the open floor grating. Crawl through and 
drop down into the tunnel, and head down.

CHECKPOINT

Continue until you hear some enemies ahead. Lean around the corner and headshot
the unaware guard up ahead, then go out and kill the 3 others that appear. Jump
onto the pipes to your right and up onto the ledge, and 2 more Replicas will
emerge on a higher floor. Kill them, then pick up the TYPE-7 PARTICLE WEAPON
and BODY ARMOR here, then go up the ladder nearby. Take out the 2 Replicas that
rush out, then turn back and jump down onto the lower level. Head through the
opening to your right and go around to pick up a COMBAT SHOTGUN, a MEDKIT and a
REFLEX BOOSTER. Backtrack and then go up the ladder and go into the room at the
end for a BODY ARMOR and a HV PENETRATOR. 

Go back to where you found the booster and jump down the hole in the ground 
onto the rubble. Take the right path and turn left on the walkway to find 2
PROXY MINES, and turn right to enter a room with a AT-14 PISTOL and a MEKDIT.
Go down the steps nearby and head to the opening on the other side of the room.

CHECKPOINT

Head forward a bit and lean out to snipe the unaware soldier. Kill the other 3
as well as the Heavy Armor, then go into the first alcove on the right for a 
MEDKIT, the second alcove on the left for another MEDKIT, and pick up the BODY
ARMOR and HV PENETRATOR leaning against the barrel. Go forward a bit and take
the FRAG GRENADE on the barrel and the BODY ARMOR behind it. Head forward and
another Heavy Armor will come into the room in front of you. Kill it, then go
up the stairs nearby. Make your way around and kill the 2 Replicas on the 
stairs, then pick up the BODY ARMOR on the boxes to your right. Go down the 
stairs and enter the first room on your right to pick up a TYPE-7 PARTICLE
WEAPON and a MEDKIT. Head down the corridor and kill the 3 Replicas around the
corner, then take the stairs to your right to head to an elevated area with a
MOD-3 MULTI-ROCKET LAUNCHER and a MEDKIT. Go back to the main path and head 
down into the next room. Turn left and go through the door, and descend the 
stairs. 

CHECKPOINT

Pick up the MEDKIT on the shelf and lean around the corner. You'll eventually
spot an unaware soldier walking around. Headshot him and run into the room to
kill the other Replica. Pick up the 2 FRAG GRENADES, BODY ARMOR, RPL 
SUB-MACHINE GUN and TYPE-7 PARTICLE WEAPON in this room, then enter the armory
for 2 more TYPE-7 PARTICLE WEAPONS, 2 HV PENETRATORS and 2 G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLES.
Go up the ladder here and enter the door. Navigate through the rooms until 
Betters speaks to you at a fork. Turn right and enter the room for 2 MEDKITS 
and a COMBAT SHOTGUN, then go through the double doors on the left of the fork.

CHECKPOINT

Head through the rooms until you come to a large, multi-storey one. Go across
to the other side of the room and move forward until a window breaks and 2 
Assassins pop out, one in front and one behind. Use SlowMo and kill them, then 
go into the nearby doorway and up the stairs, where another Assassin will pop 
out of a window to your left and up. Use SlowMo and you should be able to 
squeeze in a hit before he runs off, and then kill him as he comes down the 
stairs towards you. Head upstairs and proceed until you come to another large
room. A final Assassin awaits you here, kill him and turn left into a small
area. Go through the doorway and make your way past the next door. Descend the
stairs.

CHECKPOINT

Go through the door and you'll hear some ATC guards outside the window. A Power
Armor will soon appear, kill it as well as the guard. Head forward and you'll
reach a storage room. Go along the walkway and down the ladder, then head into
the room on the right of the ladder for a MEDKIT. Go into the door on the left
to come to a room with a BODY ARMOR and a MEDKIT. Return to the main room and
exit through the door in the corner. Head forward and another Power Armor will
appear from around the corner. Kill it, then pick up the BODY ARMOR on the car
nearby. Go up the steps and into the building.

Go either left or right and kill the 4 ATC guards in the next room. Pick up the
MEDKIT on the table in a small adjacent area, then head into the dark area in
the back of the room and activate the small blue light. The wall to your left
will open, revealing 2 ATC guards and an armory. Take the 2 HV PENETRATORS, 2
COMBAT SHOTGUNS, 2 TYPE-7 PARTICLE WEAPONS, 2 RPL SUB-MACHINE GUNS and 3 G2A2
ASSAULT RIFLES, then go down the hallway to your right. Pick up the BODY ARMOR
on the table, then go into the door. Go up the stairs and attempt to open the
door across the room. When it opens, head inside and go up the stairs. Turn 
left at the top and make your way across the walkway and pick up the HEALTH
BOOSTER on the shelf in the room at the end. 

Backtrack to the previous room and head forward. Enter the elevator and 
activate the controls. You'll be thrown into a vision. Once you gain control,
swim down the hole in front of you. Keep walking forward and go through the
double doors, then approach the doors in front. In the pit of flames, listen to
the Nightmare's telltale shriek and shoot them accordingly as they appear 
(preferably with the HV penetrator, if you have it). Once you kill 6 or so, 
you'll return to reality. Activate the elevator.

  7.9. INTERVAL 9 - Incursion

Once the elevator stops, quickly seek cover as a turret will descend in front
of you. Destroy it, then go into the small room nearby for a MEDKIT. Head left
from this room and a turret will drop down in front of you. Lean out and gun it
down, then go forward and pick up the BODY ARMOR and HV PENETRATOR. Turn right
and jump up onto the large pipe, and go into the ventilation shaft for 2 REMOTE
BOMBS. Backtrack to the previous room and go down the ladder. Make your way
through the underground and climb the ladder at the end. Proceed forward.

CHECKPOINT

Lean left and snipe the unaware ATC guard on the balcony. Kill the 3 others, 
then head into the next room. Look up to your left and shoot the oil barrel to
kill the guard, then go forward and look behind you to spot another guard. Kill
him, then pick up the MEDKIT on the barrels near the window. Go into the 
hallway and turn right, then peer around the next corner. Headshot the unaware
guard and kill his 4 buddies. Head forward and pick up the BODY ARMOR in the
room to the left and the MEDKIT, COMBAT SHOTGUN, G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE and 2 FRAG
GRENADES in the room ahead, then access the laptop in the same room. Head out
and turn left past the machines. Go up the ladder and walk left along the pipes
until you get to a dead end with an orange light. Drop down into the space 
behind the wall and you'll end up in the room Mapes was in. Go up the steps.

CHECKPOINT

Go up the stairs and kill the ATC guard around the corner. Pick up the MEDKIT
to your left, then head right and kill the remaining 2 guards. Take the COMBAT
SHOTGUN on the trolley and turn left there to find a HV PENETRATOR, a BODY 
ARMOR and a MEDKIT. Go back to the trolley and head forward. You have a choice
now to either enter the room with the turret via the sliding door, or you can
jump onto the pipes beside the door and make your way around to the other side,
where you can probably take the turret by surprise. Either way, pick up the 
REFLEX BOOSTER, BODY ARMOR and MP-50 REPEATING CANNON in here and go out the
other door. The gas pipe will blow, effectively blocking your path. Head into
the room on the left and destroy the turret that comes down, then pick up the
MEDKIT on the table by the windows. Go out the door and you'll encounter some
ATC guards. Run past the barrels and around to where the flames are to pick up
a BODY ARMOR. Return to the junction and kill the  guards in this area and go 
up the stairs. 

Kill the 4 guards in the next room and pick up the MEDKIT on the table to the
left. Go right and pick up the BODY ARMOR and COMBAT SHOTGUN on the trolley, 
then turn left and pick up a RPL SUB-MACHINE GUN, a G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE and
another MEDKIT. Go down the stairs and kill the 2 guards, then head down and
along the hallway to find another 3. After killing them, quickly head forward 
and kill the guard to your left as the gate goes down if you can. Jump over the
table to pick up a BODY ARMOR, COMBAT SHOTGUN and G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE. Head to
the closed gate and turn left and enter the room. Pick up the MEDKIT and access
the laptop, then approach the ladder.

CHECKPOINT

Go down the ladder and kill the 3 escaping ATC guards in the tunnel. Pick up 
the MEDKIT to your left on the way and shoot the lock off the wire door. Go up
and right and make your way through until you come to a room with some proxy
mines and a shaking pipe. Carefully walk along the walkway and turn right at 
the pipe, then head along the tunnel and up the ladder. Pick up the HEALTH
BOOSTER and G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE, then jump onto the pipe nearby and down past 
the mines. Kill the 2 guards in the next area and take the BODY ARMOR and 2 
FRAG GRENADES. Go into the corridor and you'll find a gas wheel. If you somehow
managed to burst the shaking wheel in the proxy mine room, you can turn the
flame off here, shoot the lock off the door and make your way to the room to
get into the side tunnel. Otherwise, head past the wheel and up the stairs. 
Climb the ladder and go into the pipe area to enter the ventilation shaft, then
crawl along and drop all the way down at the end.

- 7.9.2. BYPASS
----

Drop down the shaft and head out into the room. Go down the steps and through
the door. Make your way through until you get to the walkway. Approach Mapes
and he'll reveal that you'll have to divert power to the Vault door to open it.
Head to the area behind you and continue forward until you see ladders to your
left and right. Descend the left one and go forward, entering the door on the
left. Go right and down the ladder to pick up a MEDKIT, then head left and up
the stairs. Make your way to the walkway and kill the 4 Replicas. Go down the
ladder to find 2 REMOTE BOMBS, a MEDKIT and a MP-50 REPEATING CANNON, then go
back up and head forward to pick up the BODY ARMOR by the steps. Ascend them
and notice the closed door to your right, then go left and you'll reach a large
room with a red walkway above you. Activate the 2 panels at the end of both 
left and right paths, then backtrack to the previous area and go through the 
now-open door. 

CHECKPOINT

Go up the steps and head along until you reach a ladder. Climb it and navigate
through the rooms until you come to one with 3 Replicas. Kill them, then pick 
up the MEDKIT and BODY ARMOR here. Go up the stairs and along the walkway, then
pick up the COMBAT SHOTGUN and turn right. Crawl along the pipe to find a 
MEDKIT and a PROXY MINE, then go back to where you found the shotgun and drop
down the side to access the laptop. Now, you can either jump onto the pipes via
the crate and jump over the railing to get the REFLEX BOOSTER and MEDKIT, or 
you can shoot off the grating and crawl through the vent, then go up the ladder
once you emerge and go down the hallway to reach the items. Either way, go up
the stairs beside where you come out of the shaft and go through the sliding 
door. 

Go along the walkway and through the door into the next room, which holds a 
MEDKIT and a HV PENETRATOR. Go through the door and lean out to headshot the
unaware Replica walking around below. There's a total of 5 enemies here, kill
them all and jump down. Pick up the MEDKIT and COMBAT SHOTGUN in the right half
of the room, and go around the other side for a BODY ARMOR. Go down the stairs
next to the crates and make your way to the room with the machinery. Activate 
the nearest panel, then go to the other side of the room and access the laptop.
Go up the nearby ladder and activate the panel, then activate the final one in
the middle of the room. Go into the sliding door to the right of the laptop and
you'll find a HV PENETRATOR, a BODY ARMOR, 2 REMOTE BOMBS and 2 MEDKITS, one on
the wall above the stairs. Backtrack to the large room where you fought the
Replicas and go up the stairs and through the opened double doors.

CHECKPOINT

Head down the hallway and kill the 3 Flying Drones in the next room, then make 
your way through until you reach a blocked door. Head past it and turn left to
find a MEDKIT, then go behind the boxes and shoot off the grating. Crawl 
through the shaft and shoot off the grating at the end to emerge in a room with
a BODY ARMOR and a MOD-3 MULTI-ROCKET LAUNCHER. Drop down via the right
canister belt and make your way to the machinery room. Activate the blue panel,
then go down the stairs and around to the back to find a HEALTH BOOSTER, then
go around into the corridor. When you reach a split in the path, go forward and
listen to the phone message and pick up the MEDKIT. Climb the nearby ladder and
make your way to the blue panel. Activate it and go through the door.

CHECKPOINT

Go upstairs and kill the 2 Replicas in the next room. Pick up the MEDKIT, then
activate the lift. Go down the stairs and out the door, then kill the 3 Flying
Drones to your left. Activate the panel near Mapes and enter the Vault. Go up
the steps and activate the panel.

  7.10. INTERVAL 10 - Revelation

Go through the nearby door and go down the hallway. You'll be thrown into 
another pit of fire vision. Kill the Nightmares by listening to their shrieks,
then once you return to reality, shoot Fettel in the head. Go up the steps and
take the MEDKIT, then easily kill the Replicas and pick up their weapons. Go
down the hallway and access the laptop, then head forward and activate the 
lift. Go into the room when the door opens and then go through the sliding 
door.

CHECKPOINT

Pick up the BODY ARMOR and MEDKIT in the next room, then kill the Nightmares 
both in the vision and in the real world. Go out the sliding door and head
straight forward and search behind the barrels for a REFLEX BOOSTER. Go right
and pick up the MEDKIT on the table, then go down the stairs. Follow the path
and take the BODY ARMOR in the corner by the machine, then head forward and 
kill the 2 groups of Nightmares that emerge around the machines. Go up the 
steps and you'll eventually come to a room where another 2 groups of Nightmares
will appear. Keep going forward and pick up the MEDKIT on the trolley, then go
down the hallway to the left. Make your way around the walkway and go up the 
lift. 

CHECKPOINT

Make your way around to the switch, grabbing the RPL SUB-MACHINE GUN on the 
crate nearby. Activate the panel and shoot the 4 exposed energy cores. Go 
through the sliding door behind you and head forward. Pick up the MEDKIT in the
room with the walkways and go onto them to kill 2 packs of Nightmares. Take the
MP-50 REPEATING CANNON by the wall and go along the walkway into the corridor.
Navigate through until you reach the elevator. Activate it and then go out onto
the walkway. Kill the Nightmares and head to the other side into the elevator.
If you're quick, you won't have to deal with the next group of Nightmares that
appear on the walkway.

  7.11. INTERVAL 11 - Retaliation

- 7.11.1. GROUND ZERO

Pick up the MEDKIT, MP-50 REPEATING CANNON, BODY ARMOR and COMBAT SHOTGUN in
this room, then head into the open door to pick up another MEDKIT. Go up the
steps and make your way through the corridor until a gas pipe explodes in front
of you. Jump down the railing beside you and pick up the HV PENETRATOR (which
are good against the Nightmares, so you should probably take it). Go up past 
the flames and some Nightmares will appear to your right. Kill them, then go
into the room behind you. Pick up the MEDKIT and head forward, and 2 groups of
Nightmares will come out, from 2 directions. Search behind the crates for a
MEDKIT and a HEALTH BOOSTER, then continue into the next room. 

Head forward and a group of Nightmares will appear from behind you. Kill them, 
then pick up the MEDKIT and BODY ARMOR on the crate. Behind the shelf to the 
left are 2 RPL SUB-MACHINE GUNS. Proceed forward and approach the closed double
doors, and Nightmares will burst out. Kill them and go through. Head through 
the middle of the shelves and more Nightmares will emerge. Take the MEDKIT and 
kill the Nightmares that spawn, then go up the stairs and take the BODY ARMOR.
Head up the stairs and go towards the MEDKIT in front of you. Kill the 
Nightmares to your right, then pick up the RPL SUB-MACHINE GUN by the door. Go
left through the doorway and proceed through, picking up the MEDKIT and HV
PENETRATOR on the way. 

CHECKPOINT

Head forward and up the stairs to pick up 2 AT-14 PISTOLS on the shelf. Go
through the hallway and you'll come out on a walkway above a large room. Equip 
your HV and jump down, and shoot the large numbers of Nightmares that spawn
here. You should take next to no damage as long as you stay back by the RPL
SUB-MACHINE GUN and MEDKIT and take them out while they're still far away. Also
remember to watch your clip, you don't want to reload while a mass of them are
about to reach you. Once they're gone, take the MP-50 REPEATING CANNON if you
wish. There's another MEDKIT on a shelf on the left side of the room, as well
as a third MEDKIT and a BODY ARMOR by the door at the other side of the room.
Jump down into the hole in the ground. 

CHECKPOINT

Go into the tunnel and 2 Nightmares will burst out. Use SlowMo and kill them,
then take the MEDKIT and continue forward. Another group of Nightmares will
appear. Kill them and make your way through the tunnel until you enter a 
vision. Go through the doors in front of you and shoot Alma as she appears to 
your left. Go up the stairs and open the double doors, and shoot her again when
she appears. Continue up the stairs and walk forward until you see Alma kill a
doctor behind the double doors in front of you. Quickly turn around and keep
shooting her when she appears (11 times to be exact) until she disappears a 
third time. 

You'll return to reality shortly after. Go through the double doors in front 
and make your way to the elevator. Activate it and jump through the window. 
Watch the explosion and wait until you pass out. 

Enjoy the ending! It's been a tumultuous journey, so you deserve it. Phew.

The first gun that you are given in the game. This weapon has a medium firing
rate coupled with quite good damage. Unfortunately you have to press the Fire 
button with every shot as it is semi-automatic, but you can carry two of these 
pistols on you at once and can dual-wield them which improves the firing rate. 
Sadly ammo for it becomes quite uncommon as the game progresses. They are also 
small and light, so your speed isn't impeded much when using these. The pistol 
isn't too great for sniping due to the recoil, but it can be done. 

Verdict: Use the pistol in the first few levels until you get a better gun to 
replace it.


  -------------------oo 
  RPL SUB-MACHINE GUN
oo-------------------

Another default gun given to you. This gun has the fastest firing rate out of
all the ones available and has a relatively large clip size too, though the
damage isn't particularly wonderful. However you can make up for that by 
spraying the enemies with a few bursts of rapid fire; ammo isn't a problem as
nearly every enemy in the first half of the game carries this gun. It's also a
lightweight weapon, so your movement is quite fast. Again, not a very good
sniping weapon due to the horrendous recoil, so you'll have to adjust it with 
every burst of fire.

Verdict: Good to use in the earlier levels, but should be replaced later with
another relatively fast-firing gun due to its low damage.

  VK-12 COMBAT SHOTGUN
oo--------------------

This is an awesome weapon that you get your hands on quite early in the game
and will probably never drop. It does very high damage and can usually OHKO a
normal enemy at close to medium range. It's also very helpful against more
heavily armored enemies due to its sheer power. Ammo is decently plentiful, so
don't hold back in using this gun. Sniping isn't such a good idea due to the 
spraying nature of the pellets, but you can always use the zoom feature to get 
better accuracy.

Verdict: Keep this gun with you as the 'power' weapon throughout the game for
close-quarter combat, though more powerful guns will eventually pop up to take
its place.


  ------------------oo 
  G2A2 ASSAULT RIFLE
oo------------------

This rifle is like a boosted version of the sub-machine gun, with better damage
and little recoil, although the rate of fire is a tad slower. It's also very
accurate, making it a good sniping weapon. Ammo is uncommon the beginning of 
the game, but later on becomes the standard enemy gun so there'll be plenty to
go around. In fact, ammo is so easy to get that this will probably be the gun
you end up dropping when you temporarily pick up the rare stronger weapons.

Verdict: A great all-rounder gun that serves as a good primary weapon past the
first few levels of the game, when ammo for it becomes plentiful.

  HV PENETRATOR
oo-------------

An interesting gun that fires metal spikes instead of bullets, which gives it 
high armor penetration. It has excellent accuracy and decent rate of fire, and
the armor penetration means it deals more direct damage to enemies. However,
ammo for this gun is quite rare, although there'll usually be at least one or
two enemies carrying it in each level. Keep an eye on the ammo though, or 
you'll quickly run out. The accuracy and lack of recoil means it is ideal for 
sniping, so you may want to carry it around just for that purpose. Oh, and it 
can also pin enemies to the wall when you shoot them with it, which is quite 
cool.

Verdict: Better as a secondary weapon due to its ammo rarity, and one of the 
best readily-available weapons for sniping. Keep it with you as this is quite a
useful little gun, even at the end of the game.

  ASP RIFLE
oo---------

Another good sniping gun with a decent firing rate and a scope, which allows 
for extra accuracy. However it has a rather severe recoil that jerks the gun up
with every shot, so it's better if you aim low if you want all 3 shots in each 
burst to hit. Ammo for the ASP becomes more common as the game progresses so
that doesn't really pose a problem. The damage is also quite decent, though it
isn't particularly powerful. 

Verdict: Use it if you want to have some fun with the scope, otherwise it's not
recommended due to the recoil. Keep it as a tertially sniping weapon if you 
really can't live without the zoom.

  MOD-3 MULTI-ROCKET LAUNCHER
oo---------------------------

Like the shotgun, this is a power weapon with a relatively slow firing rate. It
shoots 3 rockets with each shot, however due to the small clip size you'll have
to reload often so it's best saved for tougher enemies like Heavy Armors or for
clearing out large numbers of Replicas at once, which the splash can do quite 
well. The accuracy is great, with little to no noticeable recoil. However, ammo
is very rare and doesn't appear until halfway through the game, so it's 
probably best just to grab it when you find it and use it until it's depleted 
and drop it again. 

Verdict: Enjoy it while you can, because you won't come across it often enough
to make it a keeper.

  TYPE-7 PARTICLE WEAPON
oo----------------------

Another true power weapon that shoots beams of charged particles that 
incinerate your enemies. The fire rate is slow, but it's an OHKO for normal
foes so that can be forgiven. In fact, if there's more than one enemy lined up 
in the beam's path, it can fry all of them at once. The clip size is small, but
usually you won't need to reload unless it's a really long fight or if your aim
is really bad. The Type-7 makes for an excellent sniping weapon due to its 
scope, and even without zoom it's incredibly accurate. There's no recoil either
which makes it even better. However, it's quite heavy, so you'll be slowed down
a bit, and ammo is pretty rare - you won't see it until the later levels. 

Verdict: This gun will quickly win your heart, so either use it up as you find
it or save it for the more difficult enemies. Either way you'll want to keep it
for as long as possible.

  MP-50 REPEATING CANNON
oo----------------------

The third of the trio of power weapons. As the name suggests, this is a cannon,
and shoots explosive ammunition which has a small splash effect. It's not as
powerful as the Type-7 and doesn't have a scope, but can still kill a Replica 
in 1-2 shots. It's not a particularly good sniping weapon, and is best at 
close- to mid-range. It also has a slight recoil, so aiming after each shot is
required at further distances. The clip size is quite large, which is another
up-side, although you won't find much ammo for it. Like the other power 
weapons, this firearm is heavy so it's best to put it away until you need it.

Verdict: Pick it up when you find it and have fun until it runs out. Ammo is
very rare, so enjoy it while it lasts.

  N6A3 FRAGMENTATION GRENADE

Your typical frag grenade, best used for flushing out hiding enemies. If it is
thrown into a small enclosed area, it can probably kill everyone in it (except
more heavily armored foes). However, they don't seem to do as well if used 
against Heavy Armors or Power Armors, so save them for normal Replicas. Frag
grenades are fairly commonly found compared to other explosives, although they
are still quite rare as enemies don't drop them. 

Verdict: Useful to keep in your inventory, in case you ever come across large
groups of Replicas in a small area. Otherwise, most enemies are smart enough to
run when they spot a grenade, so it might not do any damage unless you aim it 
at one of them directly.

  AT-S PROXIMITY MINE

An explosive that is better used as a defensive rather than an offensive 
weapon, due to its small throwing range. You can set traps for enemies to blast
themselves on and you won't kill yourself if you approach one of your own 
mines, because it can tell the difference between friend and foe. This allows 
for some strategic placement, which can come in handy when you have lots of
Replicas on your tail as they usually won't notice the mines, unlike the frag
grenades. The proxy mine is also good against heavily armored enemies due to 
its high damage and good armor penetration, so they can be thrown directly in
the faces of Heavy or Power Armors to deal high damage. Proxy mines are more
rare than frag grenades, but there should still be one or two in each level to
keep up your stock.

Verdict: Useful if you like setting traps for unsuspecting enemies, otherwise
their only real use would be against heavily armored foes.

  M77 REMOTE BOMB
oo---------------

A neat little bomb that can stick to surfaces, which you then detonate by 
pressing the remote. Enemies usually don't notice them so you can throw it into
a Replica-filled room and wait for them to get close enough before setting the
bomb off. However, you can't use a firearm while you use the remote bomb 
because you have to hold the remote in your gun hand, so you'll have to either
toss a bunch and hope you kill all of them, or try to switch back to your gun
quickly after detonation. Remote bombs are the rarest explosives, and you
probably won't find enough of them to use them frequently.

Verdict: Excellent for traps, though the inability to use a gun at the same
time brings it down slightly.

  MEDKIT

Medkits are your standard HP-refilling items. They heal 50 HP, and you can 
carry up to 10 of them at once. They can be found quite regularly, so you can
usually max out your stash of them depending on how good at avoiding damage you
are.

  LIGHT BODY ARMOR
oo----------------

Light body armor increases your armor bar by 35 points. You can find them
scattered in every level, although they are a rarer find than medkits. Make 
sure you put one on every time you find one, to minimize the damage taken.

  HEALTH BOOSTER
oo--------------

These are the light blue, glowing injection gun-looking things that you find
throughout the game. There's usually one per level, and they are often tucked
away in places you wouldn't normally go to during normal gameplay. They 
increase your maximum HP by 5 points, and also heals you completely. In total
they bring your maximum HP up to 199, although you cannot pick up all of them
because your health will already be at max when you find the last one.

  REFLEX BOOSTER
oo--------------

These are the light green, glowing injection gun-looking things that you find
throughout the game. There's usually one per level, and they are often tucked
away in places you wouldn't normally go to during normal gameplay. They 
increase your SlowMo duration by 0.25 seconds each, which brings you up to a
total of 15 seconds of SlowMo time (you start off with 10 seconds).
