The PC and every companion can take each of these skills except the Mabari War Dog and Shale, but most likely you will only want one character with the highest level of the skill. -------------------- II. When triggered, this trap releases a large acidic grease slick that causes nature damage to any creatures who enter the area, slows their movement speed, and causes them to fall unless they pass a physical resistance check. Recipe: Lifestone: 3 Corrupter Agent: 2 Concentrator Agent: 2 Trap Trigger: 1 Acidic Trap - The surface of this device has been terribly etched by small leaks of its corrosive contents. When triggered, this trap explodes with acid, dealing nature damage to those nearby. Friendly fire possible. Recipe: Lifestone: 1 Corrupter Agent: 1 Trap Trigger: 1 Choking Powder Cloud Trap - The inventor who devised this trap can no longer speak, so powerfully did his throat object to the mishaps along the way. When triggered, this trap releases a lingering cloud of choking powder. Creatures entering the cloud become disoriented and have their movement speed slowed. Friendly fire possible. Recipe: Toxin Extract: 3 Corrupter Agent: 2 Concentrator Agent: 2 Trap Trigger: 1 Choking Powder Trap - A debilitating kitchen accident with expensive imported spices led to the development of this trap. When triggered, this trap releases a large burst of choking powder, disorienting and slowing the movement speed of creatures in the area. Friendly fire possible. Recipe: Toxin Extract: 2 Corrupter Agent: 2 Concentrator Agent: 1 Trap Trigger: 1 Fire Trap - In its current state, this trap is cool to the touch, but the substances contained inside are certain to react violently when mixed. When triggered, this trap explodes with flame, dealing fire damage to those nearby. Friendly fire possible. Recipe: Fire Crystal: 1 Corrupter Agent: 1 Trap Trigger: 1 Freeze Trap - When packed next to each other, this trap can keep a cut of meat fresh for days longer than otherwise. But its primary use is still as a deadly weapon. When triggered, this trap explodes with frost, dealing cold damage to those nearby. Friendly fire possible. Recipe: Frostrock: 1 Corrupter Agent: 1 Trap Trigger: 1 Large Caltrop Trap - Neither boot nor hoof nor hide could ever be thick enough to withstand the mean spikes contained within. A large field of spiked balls slows the movement rate of creatures in the area while dealing physical damage. Friendly fire possible. Recipe: Metal Shard: 2 Large Claw Trap - The real pain comes not when this trap bites through flesh, but when it collides with bone. This trap deals a large amount of physical damage to whoever triggers it, leaving them unable to move unless they pass a physical resistance check. Recipe: Metal Shard: 2 Trap Trigger: 1 Large Grease Trap - One inherent advantage of this grease trap is that the mechanisms never need lubrication. When triggered, this trap releases a large grease slick that slows the movement speed of any creatures who enter the area and causes them to fall unless they pass a physical resistance check. Recipe: Lifestone: 2 Distillation Agent: 2 Concentrator Agent: 1 Trap Trigger: 1 Large Shrapnel Trap - This is not the sort of trap you use to hunt animals for dinner, unless you like your meat tenderized. When triggered this trap explodes with shrapnel, dealing physical damage to nearby creatures. Friendly fire possible Recipe: Metal Shard: 2 Trap Trigger: 1 Mild Choking Powder Trap - The packet of dust contained within is surprisingly heavy, as if it were powdered rock or metal. When triggered, this trap releases a small burst of choking powder, disorienting and slowing the movement speed of creatures in the area. Friendly fire possible. Recipe: Toxin Extract: 1 Corrupter Agent: 1 Trap Trigger: 1 Mild Sleeping Gas Trap - Even the tiny amount of gas leaking out of this trap causes a tingling sensation. When triggered, this trap releases a small burst of sleeping powder, causing creatures in the area to fall asleep unless they pass a physical resistance check. Friendly fire possible. Recipe: Deathroot: 1 Corrupter Agent: 1 Trap Trigger: 1 Poisoned Caltrop Trap - Poison on the surface of the skin is one thing. Poison deep within the veins, courtesy myriad deep punctures, is quite another. A large field of spiked balls covered in poison slows the movement rate of creatures in the area while dealing physical and nature damage. Friendly fire possible. Recipe: Metal Shard: 2 Lifestone: 1 Corrupter Agent: 1 Shock Trap - Even packed safely, this trap causes hair to stand on end. When triggered, this trap explodes with lightning, dealing electricity damage to those nearby. Friendly fire possible. Recipe: Frozen Lightning: 1 Corrupter Agent: 1 Trap Trigger: 1 Sleeping Gas Cloud Trap - This trap is swaddled thickly in cloth, lest the owner bump it too hard during transportation and lose half the day to an unwanted nap. When triggered, this trap releases a lingering cloud of sleeping powder. Creatures entering the cloud fall asleep unless they pass a physical resistance check. Friendly fire possible. Recipe: Deathroot: 3 Corrupter Agent: 2 Concentrator Agent: 2 Trap Trigger: 1 Sleeping Gas Trap - The original formulation of this trap induced snoring too often. The new design makes it a more a dignified weapon. When triggered, this trap releases a burst of sleeping powder, causing creatures in the area to fall asleep unless they pass a physical resistance check. Friendly fire possible. Recipe: Deathroot: 2 Corrupter Agent: 2 Concentrator Agent: 1 Trap Trigger: 1 Small Caltrop Trap - Although the balls inside this trap do roll nicely, the spikes make them decidedly unsafe for children. Recipe: Metal Shard: 1 Small Claw Trap - The jaws of this trap are only an approximation of a creatures teeth--no real beast has a mouth full of only incisors. It relies more on the element of surprise than complicated mechanisms. This trap knocks down whoever triggers it. Recipe: Trap Trigger: 1 -------------------- IV.ii LURES -------------------- Interesting Lure - The inventor of this lure claimed to be inspired by the distracting beauty of a flaxen-haired tavern wench. Although the resemblance is hard to see, this device is admittedly attractive, as inanimate objects go. This lure distracts any enemy within a large radius unless it passes a mental resistance check. Once distracted, the enemy must pass a physical resistance check or be stunned as well. The lure disappears after stunning one enemy. Recipe: Glamour Charm: 2 Mild Lure - It almost sounds like this device is humming a favorite children's tune. Recipe: Toxin Extract: 3 Flask: 1 Distillation Agent: 2 Concentrator Agent: 1 Concentrated Crow Poison - An enhanced version of the Crow original, this poison turns its victim into a veritable sitting duck for an efficient killer. Weapons coated in this potent poison deal additional nature damage with each hit, inflict a penalty to movement speed, and may stun the target. MAKING MONEY -------------------- So I'm sure you're wondering great! I can make lots of money crafting! Unfortunately this isn't necessarily true. Most recipes if you are to buy the components and then sell the completed item will lose you money. The only recipe I've found to make money is the Potent Lyrium Potions if you buy from the Tavern in the Denerim Market. You can make 21 silver 90 copper if you buy Lyrium Dust from the Quartermaster in the Mage's Tower and Flasks, Distillation Agents, and Concentrator Agents from the Tavern. (You can make another 10 copper per potion if you buy flasks from Figor in Orzammar).
