02. FAQ
------------------------------------------------------

Question: I just bought this game and don’t know which faction to join.

Answer: Personally I enjoyed working for the NDF the most. They are also the
most difficult. General Tormens missions are very easy and are a good
starter. Working for the Smugglers of Cali-Cantinos is a cozy middle
difficulty level.

Question: I cannot use the medi kit. Help!

Answer: To use the midi kit you must place it in your hands. Then right
click on the ground and a red cross will show. Hover the red cross over
the person you want to heal (yourself or a merc) and left click. Healing is
not instantaneous. If in battle, find a good spot to heal so you won’t be
killed.

Question: I am in the town but the store won’t sell to me.

Answer: The shop keepers, bankers, mayors, and the spokesperson for each
faction only work from 9am to about 9pm. If you aren’t in the time range
they won’t talk to you. To speed up the time press “M”, and click the play
button making sure the speed scrollbar is all the way to the right. Then
press the pause button and then “M” again to return to the game.

Question: It takes forever to walk from one end of the sector to another.
How can I bypass this?

Answer: Press the plus key, “+”, and you can accelerate the game by 5x. Once
there you can decelerate the game by pressing the minus key “-“.
Decelerating a game is also handy for new users as it slows down the action
considerably allowing for more time to think about strategy.

stuns the subject. The grenade has an efficiency radius of up to 10 meters.

M86 PDB Mine. A circle-action fragmention antipersonnel mine. The mine is
activated 25 seconds after setting. It fires seven target gauges on 6-meter

for automatic fire only and uses gun-belts of 100 or 250 rounds. The M-60 is
equipped with a fixed bipod. It is quite heavy and unwieldy, but enormous
firepower. The design of the machinegun does not provide for any additional
mountable devices. In case of overheating, the gun's barrel can be replaced
while in the field.

MP5KA4 Submachine-Gun. The MP5KA4 9x19mm Parabellum is a small machine pistol
from Hecklar and Koch's Mp5 series. Its high firing rate ensures some very
dense fire. This is necessary, for while its small size makes it easy to
conceal, perhaps under one's clothes, it also accounts for its average
accuracy. The A4 model has an 'auto-3-1' firing mechanism, which allows for
automatic fire, three-round salvos, and single-round shooting. Standard clips
hold 15 or 30 9x19mm Parabellum slugs. The gun can be equipped with.....

MP5SD5 Submachine-Gun. The MP5SD6 9x19mm submachine-gun has an integrated
silencer and is made by Heckler and Koch. The design of the silencer
efficiently solves the problem of sound suppression, but, by the same token,
it reduces the muzzle velocity of the low-power pistol slug, which affects
the range of the weapon. The SD5 series has a fixed stock and a 'auto-3-1'
firing mechanism, which allows for automatic fire, three-round salvos, and
single-round shooting. Standard clips hold 15 or 30 9x19mm Parabellum slugs.

firing mechanism allows for both standard AK assault rifle sector clips, and
larger machinegun clips of 45 and.....

RPK Machinegun. The design of the Kalashnikov RPK hand-held machinegun was
based on the Kalashnikov assault rifle. The RPK is light weight compared to
similar machineguns in its class. On the other hand, the RPK has balance
issues because of a heavier non-detachable barrel, unlike the AK assault
rifle. The RPK firing mechanism allows for both automatic and single-round
fire. The gun's barrel cannot be replaced even when overheated. Consequently,
the use of this machinegun is not widespread. The RPK can use......

Immediately after you accept the mission to rescue Rufio, Vincente Diaz
appears right outside the door. He tells you that Rufio raped his 13 year
old daughter and he wants revenge. He wants to hire you to get Rufio out of
jail and bring him to him so he can kill him himself.

If you do this mission Nesto Delgado holds you personally responsible and
tries to kill you. All his sentries will attack you also. NOTE: doing this
means that you can’t do any more missions from the mayor. Also, you have to
arm Rufio. If you don’t he and Vincente Diaz will forever stare at each other
and you cannot complete either mission.

Oilfield

1. Romano Rojas needs you to protect him from the gangsters of Cali-Cantinos.

Immediately after you accept the mission they appear outside in the two sheds.
Kill them all.

Del-Plata Downtown

Enrique Trujillo

1. Enrique Trujillo needs you to convince the weapons plant manager to retire
so that Trujillo’s brother in law can take his place.

Go to the Plant in Del-Plata and wipe out the entire sector including the
manager Bartollo Campos. They’re waiting for you.

Del-Plata Plant

Bartollo Campos

1. Bartollo Campos needs you to eliminate the criminals who are looting his
business.

Immediately after you accept the mission they appear outside. Kill them all.

San-Miguel The Residence

Dalila Acosta

1. Dalila Acosta tells of airplanes breaking down and they suspect the
maintenance personnel of sabotage. Your mission is to investigate and record
all conversation for evidence.

Go to the Airport and talk to Commander Marcos Camancho. He tells you it is
the mechanic Juan Lango who is sabotaging the airplanes. Go talk to him and
Juan Lango tells you it is Commander Marcos Camancho who is to blame and he
has proof. In order for him to give you the proof you must find him a job
elsewhere for his safety. Go to the Depot in Cali-Cantinos and talk to Dana
Bender. She tells you she needs a mechanic and to bring him there immediately.
Go back and escort Juan Lango to her. Then return the evidence to Dalila
Acosta. NOTE: you can turn in either Marcos Camancho or Juan Lango. Each will
result in different follow up missions in the rest of the game.

2. There is a convoy of bogus money from Cali-Cantinos headed for NDF
territory. This will devastate the NDF economy.

Go to the convoy marker and kill everyone.

3. Some of the NDF members have established a drug cache near San-Miguel.
This is unacceptable. Your mission is to eliminate them.

Go kill Julio Madrid and bring back the evidence of the drug cache. NOTE: the
drug cache is in the "U" shaped forest directly right of San-Miguel. It is
placed in a random on the left side of the forest.

4. There are problems with the drinking water in Palinero. General Tormens’
forces might be tampering with it. Your mission is to investigate the matter.

Go to the Water Pump in Tarentino and speak to the manager Laura Alanis.
First however, you must kill all of General Tormens’ soldiers. She tells you
that they are always being attacked by the General’s gangs and to send help.
Go back to Dalila Acosta with this information.

5. There is a very important guest arriving in 4 days. Your mission is to go
to the airport to meet him then escort him to the designated location.

This is a very simple mission. Go to the airport and wait by rectangle
painted on the runway. Go to map mode by pressing the "M" button and pass
time until the arrival time. Go back into the game and talk to him. Then
escort him safely to the destination point.

6. ommander Sancho is involved with some dirty business with the smugglers of
Cali-Cantinos and must be terminated. He has been sent on vacation to Horta.
Go and kill him.

NOTE: there are two factions in Horta, the sentries and Commander Sancho’s
guards. Kill the guards and not the sentries so the entire sector doesn’t try
to kill you at once. His guards start walking over the little stream path and
head toward you. Pick them off one by one before assassinating Commander
Sancho.

7. Enrique Trujillo, the mayor of Del-Plata, is close friends with the
President. Several of General Tormens’ recon patrols have been spotted
nearby the Plant. Your mission is to protect the plant from General Tormens.

This mission is very easy. Don’t go into the Plant in Del-Plata, but instead
simply drive back and forth from one inch to the left and to one inch from
the right of it (in the map overhead). Patrolling this way prevents any
attack to take place. After a couple of days the mission is accomplished.

8. General Tormens’ Guerrillas have captured Manza. Your mission is to
recapture the sector.

This mission is simple. Go to Manza and kill them all.

9. The gangsters in Cali-Cantinos have kidnapped Commander Santiago Miranda,
one of the President’s most trusted friends. They are asking far too much
money in ransom. They will kill him in 14 days. Your mission is to return him
to the president safely.

Go to the Depot in Cali-Cantinos. He is being held in the house in the top
right of the screen. As soon as you talk to him the entire sector will try to
kill you. NOTE: rescuing him means that you can no longer safely go into
Cali-Cantinos.

10. Los Tigras is an important outpost to the NDF and reports say it will be
attacked by both Cali-Cantinos and General Tormens. Go there and talk to
Santiago Miranda. Your mission is to defend the base from the attack.

Go to Los Tigras and talk to Santiago Miranda. Immediately after speaking to
him Los Tigras is attacked. Kill all who attack Los Tigras.

11. A top priority mission is requested of you. Rico Reyes and one of General
Tormens’ men are meeting in Downtown Rio-Loma. They will be there for three
days. Kill them all.

This is one of the harder missions. Go to Downtown Rio-Loma. In the court
yard are the two men and their body guards. Enter in the entry point at the
bottom of the map and take refuge in the house to the right. Kill them all as
they enter the house. NOTE: once you do this mission this sector is hostile.
Kill the mayor too to make the next mission easier.

12. With the war, the support of the independent towns are essential. Your
job is to collect taxes from the following mayors: Nesto Delgado of
Porto-Torro, Martino Ozuna of Rio-Loma, Enrique Trujillo of Del-Plata, and
Placido Patino of Tarentino.

NOTE: if you did not kill the mayor in the previous mission, you will have to
retake the entire sector in order to collect the money.

13. To win this war the NDF government must take General Tormens’ Outpost.
Your mission is to go to Los-Tigras and pick up an APC. Then head to the
Outpost and kill everyone.

NOTE: I could not find any way to get an APC. Instead go directly to the
Outpost, kill everyone, and then head back into NDF territory. If you talk to
Dalila you cannot get mission complete yet. Instead just stay in the
Residence in San-Miguel in the map mode and hit play. Let time pass and in
about 9 days Outpost will be retaken by the NDF troops. Then enter the sector
and collect your reward from the President.

14. The NDF decoded a radio transmission from General Tormens’ Camp. They are
planning to sabotage the power station. The power station manager has been
informed and security has been increased. Your mission is to go there and see
to the problem in person. As soon as you talk to Sabino Serrano he tells you
that there are suicide bombers at the power station. They snuck in posing as
maintenance personnel. We don’t know how many there are. Your mission is to
protect the station by hunting them down and killing them.

This is a difficult mission. As soon as you accept this mission the suicide
bombers appear everywhere. They start blowing up quickly. Just carefully make
your way out and kill them all.

15. The President feels that General Tormens’ gang must come to an end. Their
violence has gone on too long. Go to Santa-Rosa and eliminate the General and
anyone who stands in your way.

For this mission simply wipe out all of Santa-Rosa and you will find
documents showing the General’s hideout from one of the body of Kemen Marin.
Go to the hideout and kill the General. He won’t show up on the map, simply
kill someone and the General will come out and attack you along with the now
hostile sector. Kill everyone until the General is dead.

San-Miguel Downtown

Father Pedro

1. Father Pedro Cardona needs your help. Lolita Benitise hasn’t been in to
confess lately. Go bring her in for a “secret confession”.

Go pay for Lolita Benitise and talk to her. Tell her that Father Pedro
Cardona needs to see her. She agrees if you pay for her for the night, as
well as give Chico Graza his cut. Pay off Chico Graza and tell Lolita it’s
all taken care of. She’ll go for her confession and then you can go collect
your reward. NOTE: your reward is a key to the room of a dead soldier. The
room is in the house across the street. Inside his room you will find a good
weapon. Sell it as you probably won't be able to find any ammo to use it.

San-Miguel Banking District

Urbano Lemas

1. The Banker Urbano Lemas urgently needs a gold shipment delivered to Banker
Humberto Leon in Porto-Torro.

Deliver it for him but prepared to be attacked by gangsters looking to steal
it from you.

Airport

Panz Caberro

1. The manager Panz Caberro gives you a mission to protect him from gangsters.

NOTE: this mission is very easy. Just let the sentries kill all the gangsters.
You need only protect yourself and maybe kill any straglers.

2. Panz Caberro needs your help. There is a dirty cop who extorts money from
him and other NDF citizens. Your mission is to kill him.

Go to the yellow marker and wait until midnight. The dirty cop will come.
Kill him and return for your reward.

Cali-Cantinos Old Town

Rico Reyes

Cali-Cantinos Old Town

1. Rico Reyes has a job for you. His man Tomas Tellez was to receive money
from General Tormens’ and bring it back but he has disappeared. Your mission
is to find him and return the money by any means necessary.

First go to the bar and ask where he is. The bartender Fernando Romo tells
you he went to the airport. Head to the airport and find Tomas Tellez. Don’t
bother talking to him, he’ll just give you a key to an empty safe. Instead
kill him and take the money. Bring it back to Rico Reyes.

2. Rico Reyes gives you a mission to destroy a UN humanitarian convoy. Go to
Rio-Loma Downtown and talk to Rick Bushkin who gives you the location. Go and
kill them all.

NOTE: this mission is very easy. You can sit back and let Rico Reyes men take
them out and let some of them die. This way you salvage more items to sell
off of the dead bodies.

3. Rico Reyes needs you to recover important documents from the San-Miguel
Bank.

If you directly kill the Banker Urbano Lemas you will become an enemy of the
NDF. Instead wait for Urbano Lemas to go to bed and place the Claymore where
he stands. Then when he comes back and stands on it detonate it. Collect the
keys from him and recover the documents and bring them back to Rico Reyes.
You can also take the contents of his own personal safe.

4. Rico Reyes needs some muscle to visit the customs officer Gustavo Salazar
in Porto-Torro. Go and give him his last warning.

NOTE: because I did a mission for him and he did not pay me, he says he will
go along because he feels he owes me. If you do not do any missions for him
he will refuse and you will have to kill him and the sector will turn hostile.

5. The NDF has captured a group of Rico’s best and are keeping them prisoner
in Las Panteras. They will be executed. Rico has killed the executioner and
taken his ID.

Go to get into the base and give the papers to Ramon Ortega and he will tell
you where Rodriguez is located. He is the only one who survived because
nobody will execute him. Talk to him and escort him back to Rico Reyes.
NOTE: Soon as you talk to him the entire sector will turn hostile. Fight
your way out.

6. The Boss is getting sick of the NDF President. His brother Alberto
Ferdinand is going to Horta in 4 days on a date with his mistress. They will
have a romantic tryst at the bridge. Your mission is to get a good rifle,
kill Alberto Ferdinand, and run. No need to kill the woman.

NOTE: simply go to the marker on the map and snipe out Alberto Ferdinand.
Nobody turns hostile against you so no need to “run”.

7. The war is working for the Smugglers. They are making lots of money. It is
time to put some fresh fuel on the fire. They have intercepted some of
General Tormens’ men who were sent to negotiate peace between the NDF and the
General. Your mission is to go to Los Tigras pretending to be that group of
negotiators. Kill everyone. Your main objective is to kill the base commander.

8. General Tormens wants to make a deal with the Smugglers. He is sending
Colonel Galves. Go to Del-Plata and talk to Colonel Galves in the mayor’s
residence. Escort him safely back to Cali-Cantinos.

9. You have a problem, and your problem is starting to be a problem to the
Smugglers. Somebody is looking for you. He just recently killed the squad of
four Rico Reyes sent to take care of him. You’re mission is to eliminate the
threat.

NOTE: one assassin comes at you as soon as you accept this mission. Face the
door and prepare for an attack. Then go to The Depot in Cali-Cantinos and the
gang will attack very shortly after you arrive. Kill them all.

10. Julio Madrid was appointed to collecting money from the mayors around
Palinero. They refuse to pay. Go kill them: Enrique Trujillo of Del-Plata,
Placido Patino of Tarentino, and Nesto Delgado of Porto-Torro.

NOTE: this will turn each of the sectors hostile if done incorrectly. Placido
Patino is the easiest, simply wait until he goes to bed and place a charge
right where he stands in the daytime. When he comes back he will blow up.
Enrique Trujillo is the second easiest. You cannot place a charge where he
stands in the daytime because there is someone there. Instead place the
charge in his bedroom and wait until he goes to bed. Nesto Delgado is the
most tricky to kill. Enter his bedroom and close the door behind you so the
guard cannot see you. Then place a charge in the middle of the room. Then
wait until he goes to bed. Mission accomplished.

11. Romano Rojas at the Oilfield decided not to pay for our protection any
more. Your mission is to convince him to start paying again. If he doesn’t,
eliminate him.

NOTE: he agrees to start paying but only with a 25% decrease. Go back to Rico
Reyes and collect your reward.

12. Your mission is to go to the Plant in Del-Plata and set two charges to
take out the plant. Once you reach the plant they are already hostile. Kill
them all then place and detonate the charges one by one.

NOTE: after a detonation it does not show rubble but once you detonate both
spots it shows mission complete.

13. The Boss is very upset with General Tormens. He is especially upset with
how Kemen Marin set him up. This will not happen again. Rico Reyes has
prepared a small box of chocolates for him. You must deliver them personally.
Once delivered you must stay as far away from Santa Rosa as possible. If
anything goes wrong then you must eliminate the birthday boy personally.

NOTE: the sector holds his troops which are hostile. Kill them all then
deliver the package. Shortly after you deliver the package the sector will
turn hostile. Instead of leaving immediately, get set up for battle.

14. The Boss just had a “genius” idea. What would happen if both the NDF and
General Tormens army were left without their entire command staff? Kill the
following, Santiago Miranda of Los Tigras, Sanchoi Tovar of El-Torro, Ramon
Ortega of Las Panteras, and Marcos Camancho of the Airport. Kill them all.

15. The Boss says everything is going according to plans. There are two
faults in the next scheme, the NDF President and General Tormens. Eliminate
them both. A personal request from Rico, eliminate Senora Acosta also.

For this mission you will need to capture every sector belonging to both
factions. Once you take over every sector you will get the location of the
NDF President’s hideout and General Tormens’ hideout from their respective
assistant. Go to each hideout and kill the President and General Tormens.

Cali-Cantinos Depot

Dana Bender

1. During the first NDF mission Dana Bender gives you the mission to find her
a mechanic to work for her.

Go to the Airport and bring back Juan Lango.

Santa-Rosa General's Residence

General Tormens'

1. General Tormens’ contact, Zeta Zeyes, did not make the rendezvous. She is
in San-Miguel and must return with a recon report and a set of photographs.
You must go to the capital, find her, and help her finish her business.

For this mission you need to head to Downtown San-Miguel. Talk to Zeeta Zeyes
and she tells you that she photographed the airport herself but was stopped
by an NDF patrol and had to swallow the film. Your mission is to take her
camera and take pictures of the airport from three different angles. Go to
the airport and soon as you walk into the spot the game will prompt you to
take the picture. Take the three pictures and go back and give the camera to
Zeeta Zeyes. She gives you her papers to deliver to General Tormens. Head
back to Santa-Rosa to complete the mission.

2. Kemen Marin has another mission for you. The General often buys weapons
from the black market. Rico Reyes is awaiting payment for such weapons. Take
the money to him within 20 days.

This mission is easy. Simply take the money and give it to Rico Reyes in Old
Town Cali-Cantinos.

3. Kemen Marin sends you on a mission to retrieve the General’s gold from his
safe in San-Miguel.

Take the key from Kemen Marin, go to the Banking District in San-Miguel and
take the gold, and then bring it back to Kemen Marin.

4. There is a very important military operation to be carried out at an NDF
military base. Your mission is to blow up the satellite antenna at Las
Panteras. You are to pose as engineers and you must make it there before the
real engineers. If you make a sound consider the mission failed.

For this mission go to Las Panteras and the Deputy Commander awaits you. He
tells you he has orders to kill any saboteurs. Follow him to the antenna and
he tells you you got 30 minutes to fix the antenna. Walk into the yellow area
marked on the map. Click on the metal piece in the yellow spot and it will
prompt you to set the explosive. Now run back to the exit point with
adrenaline on. Mission accomplished.

5. For over a year now General Tormens has been paying Commander Camancho to
spy on the NDF. They have been paying for nothing, the information was
useless. We don’t know which side he is truly working for. He must be
eliminated. He has been promoted and will no longer be in charge of the NDF
Airport garrison. Go congratulate him and put “9 grams of lead right through
his black heart”.

He will be spending 5 days with his mistress in Del-Plata. Find him there and
assassinate him. His mistress is the mayor’s niece. Avoid being spotted or
else the sector will turn hostile. Weapons will be hidden there. Get them and
go to the marked spot. Snipe Commander Camancho and mission complete. NOTE:
his guards will come after you. Prepare to run or kill them.

6. Kemen Marin gives you your next mission. You are to meet with members of
Cali-Cantinos. Escort Colonel Jose Galvez. They are expecting him in 10 days.
Escort him safely to Horta.

NOTE: he has no armor or good weapons. It doesn’t hurt to stock him up.

7. General Tormens’ Intelligence has reported that a high-ranking foreign
official is arriving in Palinero in 10 days. He is to then meet with
president Ferdinand. Your mission is to go to the Airport and kill him upon
arrival.

NOTE: as soon as you kill him the sector will turn hostile. Be prepared to
run or fight his guards.

8. Several months ago one of General Tormens men infiltrated Palinero customs.
He reported that a shipment of weapons is headed for the NDF forces. The
General wants you to intercept the caravan and destroy it.

This mission is easy. Go to the sector, stay put, and wait for them all to
cluster in the corner. Then use a grenade launcher to blow them all up at
once. NOTE: the General gives you a jeep for this mission. I don’t accept it
because I prefer my truck as it carries a large load of weapons to sell.

9. In 7 days a group of military advisors and instructors from NATO is going
to the NDF. They will be arriving incognito via train. You must go to the
drop zone and liquidate them.

This mission is no harder than the battles when ambushed. Kill them all and
return for your reward.

10. The General has spent lots of money to ensure the loyalty of the
independent townships. Your mission is to bribe the mayors in order to ensure
the political advantage of General Tormens campaign. Go to each town and
bribe the mayors: Nesto Delgado of Porto-Torro, Martino Ozuna of Rio-Loma,
Enrique Trujillo of Del-Plata, and Placido Patino of Tarentino.

Kill the ones who refuse (For me only, Martino Ozuna of Rio-Loma refused..

11. Due to their Plant, the NDF Government has the advantage of manufacturing
their own weapons instead of buying them off of the black market. They only
recently took over the Plant in Del-Plata. Your mission is to capture the
Plant of Del-Plata. Make sure the Plant Manager Bartollo Campos is dead.

This mission is simple. Go to the Plant in Del-Plata and kill them all.
Return for your reward.

12. The Outpost is in danger of enemy attack. Your mission is to reinforce
the Outpost garrison.

Talk to Colonel Silvio Delseda there and help him defend it. Kill all the
attackers then return for your reward.

13. Your next mission is to blow up the oil rig near Porto-Torro.

Go to the Oilfield, kill everyone, and set the charges on the yellow markers.

14. The NDF just received a shipment of secret munitions. They are stored at
a depot near the San-Miguel Power Station. Your mission is to steal samples
of the weapons and then destroy the Power Generator at the Power Station.

NOTE: in order to get a mission complete, you must have all three weapon
samples that you get from the shed on your person.

15. The Smugglers are secretly shipping weapons to the NDF via Horta. Horta
is to be a strategically important location. Your mission is to capture the
town of Horta.

Go to Horta and kill everybody.

16. El-Torro is especially dangerous to General Tormens. The President’s
Administration has sent out invitations all over the world for the graduation
ceremony of their first guard corps. Your instructions are to kill everyone
there before they are able to leave.

Go there and kill them all.

17. The time to strike is now. General Tormens must attack before the NDF
Government decides to. Your mission is to take over all of the NDF military
bases (The Airport, Las Panteras, and Los Tigras). Go kill them all.

This mission is long but simple. Go to each base and kill everybody.

18. The NDF army has been decimated and exhausted. Now is the time to strike.
Annihilate the NDF and kill the President along with Senora Acosta.

NOTE: you must take over every sector and then take the documents showing the
President’s secret hideout from Dalila Acosta. Go there and kill the
President.

05. TIPS & TRICKS
------------------------------------------------------

1. Set your mercenaries up before the enemy gets into range. Then fire before
they do.

2. For easy kills group your mercenaries into a house or onto a rooftop and
aim for the entrance. Then let the enemy come in and kill them.

3. You can break into locked rooms in the stores by shooting the door. Inside
are items you can take.

4. On difficult missions, save the game before you start it, when you arrive
on the scene, and when you get setup for it. This ensures no glitches will
ruin your mission and it will allow you to play the mission over again
without restarting at favourable spots if needed.

5. Remember to change scopes in the daytime and night time to match the
different scope's purpose.

6. Remember to clean and repair your weapons regularly.

7. Put grenades, TNT, and land mines in your backpack to lessen the chance of
them being detonated in a battle.

8. Timed explosives can be an excellent decoy. Explode one to draw the enemy
to it and ambush them.

9. When first building your character, search all the buildings regularly for
stuff to sell. Then you can buy good weapons.

10. When accepting a mission to destroy a convoy, accept the mission later in
the evening that way when you arrive at the convoy you can fight in daylight
instead of night time. (It takes time to travel to the convoy and you always
end up fighting at night if you accept the mission at 9am).

11. When ambushed, the gangsters go from one start point to one of the
corners. So if you don’t want to do battle, simply sneak and avoid them
without being seen or making a sound. Sometimes you cannot help but to be
seen, in this case reload from last exit point.

------------------------------------------------------
06. KNOWN BUGS
------------------------------------------------------

1. Your mercenaries sometimes get placed partially in or off the ground when
entering a zone after being ambushed. Make sure you save often.

2. Sometimes the enemy who ambushes you gets placed in the sky. They kill you
fast but you cannot kill them. Make sure you save often.

3. When running, it is possible to get trapped in the middle of an object. It
has happened many times with my hummer. Make sure you save often.

4. After completing a mission and while claiming the payment it will say
something like "You are in danger!" instead of "Mission Complete." and will
continue with the payment.

5. The entire game will crash when running some versions of Yahoo Chat.

6. When giving the order to climb a ladder during battle, your mercenary
climbs a different one. (Only tested during a battle in San-Miguel - The
Residence.)

(Please note, I did not search for errors methodically but instead just
listed errors that were common during my game play.)
